BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS WITH DETAILS ADDED! Claire is waitressing at the town square cafe. Theo is surprised to see her but she does not want to blow her first day on the job. So he sits and orders a soda. She starts to walk away and is appalled when he actually uses the F word. Friends! At the club, Dario cannot believe the bad numbers. He thanks Abigail for helping him close up. She is still down about JJ and would rather not discuss it. He shows her a picture of the park by their honeymoon hotel in NYC. They disagree about the costly trip. Dario feels it will be fun but Abigail eyes him ... At the station Chad and Gabi give Sonny the surprise of Arianna. He holds his daughter in his arms and Gabi admits Arianna wondered why he could not spend time with them at Playtime Pete's. He explains he had to speak with the police and distracts the little one who misses him. Gabi looks worried as Chad sips his coffee ... Rafe admits to Lani and JJ that he and Hope found no clue in the dumpster. But he remembers an old case as does Hope - when they discovered a janitor had "borrowed" stuff from the suspect's room. Rafe now calls housekeeping. Hope is hopeful about what they might have ... Theo finds out that Claire cannot and will not be friends ... Arianna falls asleep on Sonny. Chad offers to take her home for bed so Gabi can stay a while. Sonny sits and sighs how hard it is. If he is in prison he will miss his little girl! Gabi believes in his innocence. Sonny is grateful and asks about her and Chad, whether he minded she was with JJ the night of the party ... Rafe finds out the former maid of room 204 is now working again as a square waitress. The head custodian Chuck is at the hotel. He refuses to let JJ join them. Hope agrees. JJ snaps he cannot stand by cos his cousin is taking the rap! Lani will let him tag along as long as he does not get involved ... Lani questions the hotel custodian, JJ at her side. All left behind by the man in 204 was a phone charger. Lani bags it and notes at least they can check it for prints ... Meanwhile Rafe and Hope ask the square waitress about 204, who turned out to be a big tipper. He left behind a phone charger and girlie magazine, both of which were left in lost and found. Rafe says wow ... Gabi gets her back up about being with JJ for a millisecond. She now disagrees with Sonny confessing and urges him to believe in his attorney. He, however, feels he is sunk ... Abigail ends a call with mama Jen and sighs. Dario comes over with glasses and she updates him on the good news and the bad. The good is JJ was released the bad is that Sonny was arrested. Dario argues then they can go on their honeymoon. She wonders how he even got the money from the floundering club. He claims Myron advised him on some lucrative investments. Abigail now remembers Hope's dire warning about Dario dabbling in Eduardo's dirty business. It is starting to add up ... Theo comes to the mansion for a game of chess with brother Chad. Something weighs heavy on his mind ... Abigail quietly cleans as Dario goes to put the schedule away. She walks to his open computer and he comes back, wondering what she is doing ... Phone Rafe tells JJ about both items. JJ now tells Chuck there were two things found in Room 204. Lani grumbles she can give him a hard time for holding onto evidence. JJ wants to give him the benefit of the doubt. Chuck hands over the magazine and excuses himself to a plumbing problem. Lani recognizes the title the same time JJ does. That was one of Zander’s favorite girlie magazines. BOOM! So far the most sinister and likely suspect, since he hated Deimos, was no stranger to murder, and had a grudge against set-up Sonny. There is just one flaw ... Hope and Rafe are reading the menu at the square. She teases him his choice of grilled cheese is on the kids menu. Claire comes to their table with a giggle. The specials are something with fish and an apple thingy ... Hope orders salad and Rafe tries the grilled cheese. Hope praises her for having a job but Claire complains about her dragon lady boss. The head waitress has overheard and demands better. She has to work two jobs. She tells Claire to keep her mouth shut and get back to work ... Chad has been studying so genius Theo will not beat him at chess again. Theo blurts out he broke up with Claire cos of the tape she made of them. Chad makes a move on the chess set and wonders but says he will not judge. Theo tells him the tale of Jade secretly setting it up. Chad's eyes widen when he hears Abe saw it! Theo explains how he did not believe Claire's claim of innocence. He also admitted he would have believed Ciara. Chad asks about his feelings. Theo thinks of Ciara as a friend. And now Claire refuses to be his friend! Chad explains it is even hard for him and Abigail to be friends and they share a child ... Strange music plays. Abigail fibs she wanted to check something on her work files. Dario closes his computer and gets dodgy. Abigail follows him out, her eyes now filled with suspicion ...Claire drops dishes and Rafe tells Hope to let her handle it. The boss blasts her and will take it out of her paycheck. She gets her to admit she has no experience waiting tables. Claire is disheartened and gets another chance but as a hostess and dishwashing helper. She is relieved she was not fired ... JJ and Lani later join Rafe and Hope at their table with a bombshell. The girlie magazine from Room 204 is the same publication they found in Xander's Greek hideaway. Rafe reasons he did have motive to want Deimos dead but what about opportunity? JJ points out he is in prison in Greece so Hope whips out her phone to make the call ... Alas Theo beats Chad at chess again. Chad hears of his recent work woes and offers him a job at the IT Department without hesitation. They are working to build a firewall since the Countess W hack. Theo is excited, then wonders whether Abe would approve of him working in the family business. But it is his job so he accepts! Gabi arrives and Chad tells her the good news. Theo happily heads home ... Chad now asks about Sonny and casually brings up Gabi's relief about JJ. Gabi would rather discuss them and gets closer. Chad grins ... Dario surprises Abigail in the big bedroom with strawberry wedding cake. He promises to pamper her. She is fine with the simple life. He mentions Chad and she states the wealth is not why she is .. ummmm ... was in love with him. She now excuses herself to get changed for bed. Dario soap stares as dangerous music plays warning of what is to come ... Claire comes home and overhears Theo discussing his hot new DiMera job on the phone. She slams the door so he ends his call with Joey. He asks how her first day went. The pouty princess hates her job and her boss and her life. Theo is sympathetic. She assures him she is happy for his success and now slams anotherdoor behind her ... Victor visits Sonny in a room at the station, grateful that Justin could get him out of his cell for a few hours. Sonny waits to hear him say he is disappointed. The tycoon tells him off for confessing cos it was so wrong! Sonny shakes his head ... Rafe, JJ and Lani discuss the possibility of Xander pulling off the impossible ... Hope ends her call with the Greek prison warden, who insisted that Xander was still behind bars ... Theo gazes at Claire, who has now fallen asleep on the couch. He tenderly covers her with a blanket ... Hope wants to probe the Xander angle but no one agrees. Rafe would rather wait for the fingerprints from the lab ... Victor snaps Sonny does not even know whether he killed Deimos. There were so many suspects! Sonny is certain he could have killed him, he was so enraged about him stealing his amulet. Victor notes they found no amulet when they searched the house. Sonny warns him he will not be able to make this go away. The Greek grumbles like hell ... As Gabi and Chad snuggle in bed she suggests they leave the past in the past and focus on them. Chad agrees as they get under the sheets, surrounded by candlelight ... Abigail sits up alone in the big bed with a gasp and looks around the room. Dario has a cot. She lies back down, unable to shake her feeling of dread. This is anything but wedded bliss ... END! |
