There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... - Tuxedo Aiden admires Hope in her gala gown and gushes she is beautiful. She glides toward him and praises him too. Their eyes lock as magical music plays. Ciara and Chase come running in. The adults remind the energetic kids to watch out for the valuables in the room - European paintings, sculptures, an antique Chinese clock, etc. Ciara suggests they go to the party room to get some cupcakes. Hope and Aiden, however, must guard and prepare for the all important auction. The children race off for more cupcakes, leaving the adults alone again. Hope muses all is going splendidly so they can take a deep sigh of relief ... Enter Marlena in black, dramatically declaring she bears bad news! Patty is not here! She had left her a strange message. She now gets a call from Patty, who gasps she lost her voice and therefore has to cancel. She cannot do pantomime. Marlena begs her to put in an appearance for the audience anxiously awaiting her. No can do, according to her doc, though she will make a contribution to St Luke’s. Until next year! Click. Marlena sighs she is sick. Aiden exclaims they are jinxed. Father Luis insists the church is never jinxed. Giselle and Roman enter and learn the latest. Giselle is most miffed. Hope and Aiden press the priest to MC. The priest suggests Marlena in his own manner. She laughs at the notion. But Luis will not let up. Marlena stammers she already has stage fright. Hope assures her she is funny. The gang refuse to let her off the hook. The blonde gulps and agrees to be the MC. - JJ bursts in to talk to Eve. She hurt his mom! She warns him never to hurt her daughter. JJ insists he would never hurt the girl of his dreams, whereas she is out to get his mom. He suggests she has no rights but Eve says she does. Furthermore, Jen is the one not respecting Jack’s wishes. They now talk Theresa and JJ admits there were mistakes, though he did not force Theresa to steal. She is the same crazy beech she always was. Eve cackles and does not dispute it. - Paige pouts at the square and remembers meeting JJ once upon a time when their romance began. She pauses by the pretty flowers and now remembers their last phone call, when she accused him of setting up Theresa. How could something so right go so wrong! - At the Wilson apartment, Sonny has gotten the mail. He is impressed that blogger Will has already written 3000 words so far. Baby Arianna is asleep. Sonny hands Will an envelope that was addressed to him. Will opens it and reads. Sonny wonders what it says … - At Horton house, Abigail and Jen are utterly stunned by the sight of the damning picture of Abigail and EJ. Jen thinks it is a sick joke Sami glares at Abigail and knows she knows it is no joke! Abigail is ready to faint. Jen wants a word with her daughter, whom Sami trashes for devouring her husband. Jen cries EJ must have forced her, for Abigail cannot stand him! Sami leers there are photos and if Jen would rather be in denial, perhaps she should leave, to avoid bearing witness to the words she has to speak to her SLUT OF A DAUGHTER! - Will is excited as an editor has expressed an interest in interviewing him for a job, given his great blog. Sonny is impressed as he did not even apply and the editor contacted him directly. Will hopes he can make a living with his dream job. He yearns to write as a career. Sonny teases he always told him he would succeed and the pair share a happy embrace. - Jen refuses to allow such language spoken against her daughter in her house! Sami leers to take a closer look, for it is the Horton cabin in the picture, the affair was there. Abigail gasps it was no affair. Sami accuses her of lying and lying. Jen gathers she is upset. Sami snaps of course she is upset! That same woman she pitied and let into her life and her home had an affair with the man she loves, the father of her children! Abigail cries she is sorry. Jen clasps her hands together as though in prayer. - Paige toys with her ice cream and her friend Mary Beth approaches. She is in no mood to talk. The pal points out her mom's lawsuit could make her a rich girl. Paige pouts she does not care. - Eve agrees her sis is a beeeech. She now decides to let JJ have his say about what really happened. How to explain he left after she overdosed? JJ replies he freaked out and called Dr. Jonas, who ordered him to go as he risked arrest. Eve softens upon mention of Dan’s name. JJ regrets he did leave and laments Theresa remembered and blackmailed him. How? She wanted drugs. He now adds she wanted to keep Dan and Jen apart. Eve deduces he set her up and blackmailed her right back. Precisely. Nowadays he steers clear of Theresa. Eve decides he is a smart kid and perhaps she should give him another chance. But her demeanor changes when he insists she does not have the right to his father's story. Eve lets him know that she has every right! - Abigail gasps she wanted to tell Sami everything before her wedding. She even went to her office to see her. Sami snaps so what stopped her? EJ. Did he threaten to kill her or her family? If not, there is no excuse! She now taunts her that her mom looks stunned and brazenly brings up their sexfest in the shower, where she went after him. Jen squeaks it cannot be so but Sami says it is. Abigail gasps and cries and turns away. Sami turns her around and leers they feared someone would walk in and SHE did! Jen blanches. - JJ reasons Eve was already made a fair offer by his mom. Eve urges him to sit and listen to her side. She and Page have endured financial struggles the likes of which he would never understand. The unseen storyline banshee moans in the background. Eve explains she makes sufficient money for her daughter now to qualify for no financial aid. She would do anything to pay for her daughter's tuition but even the surgery that could bring back her high paying singing career costs. JJ is sorry about that. Eve explains she just wants the most for all of them, including the veterans, with the valuable movie rights. Her real focus is on Paige. Her daughter deserves the best education and the best future. And so she forges on with the fight. The banshee adds Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. JJ argues he also wants the best for Paige but begs Eve to stop giving his mother a hard time. She has been through hell and back. Eve is impressed he is such a caring son. JJ is equally impressed, that Eve cares so much about her daughter. - At the square, Paige laments her and JJ’s moms are against each other. Meddling Mary Beth muses she will meet more cute guys at college in California. Paige leaves in a huff. - Hope assures the blonde she will be great. Aiden calls her their hero. Luis tells her to warm them up. Roman praises her Harpo imitation. But Harpo was silent! Giselle gets anxious. They are running late! The natives are growing restless. Luis announces it is showtime and ushers the star MC out. Aiden sighs. Hope crosses her fingers and holds them up. - Sami rages she came in and saw Abigail naked with her husband! She saw what they were doing! Abigail weeps and hangs her head in shame. Jen pulls Sami away from her distressed daughter and screams to STOP! - Behind the scenes, surrounded by valuable art, Aiden, Hope, and Luis watch Marlena the MC on the monitor ... She starts with a joke no one likes and keeps going. The blonde is tanking with the shrink jokes ... until she gets a giggle. The crowd soon laughs and applauds a manic-depressive joke, as they can relate. - Jen scolds Sami. She has no right to speak to her daughter that way and should leave now! Sami leers she had sex with her husband and she is no innocent. It now dawns on Abigail that Sami has long known. Her eyes fill with dread. Sami confirms she has indeed known a while. Mama Jen hyperventilates in the background. Abigail sits down and rocks. Jen is aghast that Sami set up her daughter. How could she! Sami sits next to Abigail and reminds her how nice she was to her, even when she thought she was pregnant. She had no idea EJ would have been the papa. Jen is mortified. EJ the father?! Sami repeats she has raised quite a girl, her voice oozing with venom. - Back at the apartment, Will and Sonny are thrilled the interview is a go! The baby cries in the other room. Will thinks he has just gotten some good luck and goes to the baby. Sonny smiles it was his hard work and talent, not luck! Once he is out of the room, Sonny places a quiet call to Uncle Victor. He appreciates how he always helps them ... - Marlena thanks the crowd like a pro and introduces the band. Hope watches backstage and applauds. Ciara and Chase appear. Strauss starts to play. Hope explains it is a waltz. Ciara wants mommy to show her how to waltz. Aiden appears and Ciara complains so he invites Hope to allow him the honor. He holds out his hand and Hope takes it like a scene in an old romantic movie. - JJ sure hope Eve’s singing works out. Eve notes Paige called him a talented musician and suggests a truce. They both have something in common - they both want the best for Paige. Enter Paige and she nervously asks why JJ is at the apartment. They assure the glum girl that they share common ground. Music and also Paige! JJ grins at his girl. Paige is relieved her mother will not try to undermine their romance and embraces her with relief ... - Sami announces she is leaving now. If Abigail does not share all the scandalous details of her tawdry affair with her mother, then she will! She warns she and EJ will pay! In addition, she will make sure the Salem gossip mongers get wind of what they did. Jen gasps she cannot tell a soul as Abigail silently cries. - Hope and Aiden waltz as Ciara and Chase try the same. But Chase steps on her foot so they opt to go get another snack. Chase sneakily snaps a picture of the romantically waltzing couple. The little devils scurry out. Aiden twirls Hope as she keeps up and teases she claimed she was not a good dancer. One spin leads to another and he takes her in his arms.They dance cheek to cheek as the music grows louder. - Sami's red and black geometric dress seems to match her mood. She reminds Jen she is only the messenger. Her daughter is the HO and she can tell the whole world if she feels like it! Jen ushers her out the door when she questions what Alice would think. As a parting shot, Sami hisses the humiliation is just beginning ... Jen returns to her child, who sobs on her small shoulder. - JJ decides to depart and give mother and daughter their privacy. He promises Paige they will talk soon. They are both happy how things turned out. At the door, Eve warns him she is still not his bff and the jury is out so ... The banshee moans. JJ gets it, since probation seems to be his middle name, and goes. - Will returns to Sonny in the living room and they share a quick kiss on the couch. Sonny wants to spread his good news but Will would rather wait until he has something concrete. Sonny steps away to get the wine, as he feels they should celebrate. Sami soon arrives to spill something to Will. She and Kate are currently the co-CEOs of DiMera Enterprises. Sonny quips congratulations are in order - or maybe not! Will assumes it is temporary, until EJ is released from prison, which hopefully is soon. Sami snaps she would rather he rot in prison for the rest of his life! Will and Sonny exchange a surprised look. - Aiden stares deeply into Hope's eyes. She touches his face and pauses. The music stops but not the magic ... THE END! |
