There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... - In a room filled with antiques for the gala auction, Hope and Aiden set up a Euro painting they both admire. Victor arrives with a glossy vase, grumbling Brady was supposed to deliver it. But who the hell even knows where he is! - Glam Theresa and boozing Brady are at the roulette wheel in Vegas. Brady is throwing his money around. The billionaire heir slurs he needs more chips and looooves Vegas. Theresa is uncomfortable but still she stays by his side in her glittery dress. - Back in Salem, Bev finds unfriendly JJ doing his trash duty at the square, She tries to explain that she did what she did out of caring. She hopes she has a chance now that he and Paige are at a standstill. JJ angrily denies it. But Bev is bright enough to know their mothers are at odds. Paige will probably choose her mom over him. - Dan pleasantly greets Paige at the hospital and mentions her mom. Paige pauses and will only say sometimes it is nice having her around. Sometimes! Dan understands. She wonders why her mom is no longer his patient. Dan drawls mom feared there could be a conflict. Paige presses. Dan smoothly changes the subject and asks about her and JJ's great summer. The girl gets glum. - At Horton house, Eve has just decided that 50/50 is not enough. Jen gasps that was the number in the annulment papers. Eve reminds her she desires her fair share. Jen again offers half the book royalties. Eve talks movie rights and claims to have negotiating issues. Jen is exasperated. - At the club, buff baristo Ben tells Abigail he is sorry he did not believe what she had said about EJ being a non-issue for her. Pause. Abigail admits she just zoned out and flashes back to being with EJ. Ben now claims he knows where she was when she took off. Abigail gasps he does ...? - From his prison cell, EJ snaps wot did Samantha do to him! Sami leers she did to him what he did to Abigail and calls him a son of a b*tch. EJ rages to spit it out. She leers he had s-e-x with the girl right under her nose so this is payback and she is only getting started! He stammers he can exexexexexeplain. Sami dares him to do just that and leave out no detail, claiming he cut her deep. She sarcastically smiles Chad must have said how great the girl was in bed so he thought he too would have a go at her. EJ gloomily confesses it happened but it was only that one time. Sami mocks him and suggests he stop lying. He woefully whispers he loves her. She snaps he betrayed her. He reasons she had booted him out of her bed. Sami meets his stare with disgust. So this is HER fault?! - Ben assumes Abigail went to check on Sami, cos she had said she felt sorry for her. Abigail agrees she did but Sami turned out to be busy at a board meeting. She works hard, that one. - EJ tries to retract his words. Sami gasps she loved and honored him and stayed in that house with him. He had already lied about Kristen, which was why there was a distance between them. He insists he loves only her. Sami snaps did he tell Abigail that in the cabin too?! He would rather not discuss the cabin. Sami now reminds him of his activity in the locker room shower. She was in the next room while he was doing the tramp! - Victor leaves an irate message for Brady. Aiden thinks Brady might be avoiding him. Victor turns and asks who the hell he is. Aiden introduces himself and admits he and Brady had a misunderstanding when he last saw him. Hope hastily adds he was under the weather. The Greek growls what they really mean is that he was dead drunk! - Brady finds it increasingly difficult to read the numbers at the roulette wheel. Theresa tries to get him to stop. He starts to see double and lies he feels great. Then he falls flat on his face. Theresa rushes to his side. - JJ walks away from Bev in a huff. - Dan notes JJ has been avoiding him. Paige admits to curious Dan that there is something about JJ but would rather not elaborate. The invisible banshee in the background moans. Dan wants answers. Something is going on ... - Jen wants to protect the integrity of the book but Eve only cares about the cash. She argues the veterans would also benefit. Jen thinks she is too greedy. Eve screams she will not let Jen the good blow the big cash grab for her and her deserving daughter! - Victor complains everyone is losing patience with his grandson, even Saint Maggie. A call from Hong Kong makes him grumble and walk out. Hope now wants to get back to the check list. Aiden starts to boast about their triumph but Hope implores him not to jinx their gala. All of a sudden frazzled Father Luis appears, announcing there is an EMERGENCY! The sisters of Saint Augustine did not receive their tickets! And they have two wealthy parishioners. Aiden suggests he check the date of that message. Luis looks and laughs it is not the most recent one. Aiden assures him those tickets were taken care of hours ago. The gruff Greek tycoon gets back. He is impressed with the ballroom. Exit smug Father Luis, pointing out he was the one who brought the gala dream team of Aiden and Hope together ... - Paige assures Dan nothing is wrong and JJ will call him soon. They now discuss her mom as the banshee sings. Paige smiles her mom likes him. Dan grins he likes her too. She is pleased her mom is making new friends. The banshee sings yeeaaaaaaaah - Jen blasts Eve for her greed. Eve blasts her for her goody goodiness. Jen thinks it will never be enough cos she wants revenge on her for the boy who chose Jen over her for the prom. They continue screaming. Jen decides they are done and kicks her out of her house. JJ pauses in the front hall, having overheard the two wild women. - Ben announces to Abigail he has something to tell her about himself, since she has been open with him. He looks intense but work is keeping him busy. Abigail agrees next time they will be able to talk and takes her leave, not realizing that someone is already setting her up. Will next time ever come ...? - Sami gets sarcastic about the slipping and sliding in the shower sexfest, only to be momentarily interrupted by the fool of a fiancée. EJ is not sure wot to say. Sami informs him she had her suspicions and got the footage from security. Poor Abigail even had to leave with different clothes than what she came with. She thinks his father must have found it all funny. EJ insists they try and fix things for their family. Sami laughs like a loon. - Back in Vegas, Theresa tries to stand Brady up. Literally. No luck. She thinks they should go back to Salem but a casino employee doubts any airline would let him board in such a state. Theresa quips they will get a limo and make their own way. She is unable to stop the billionaire heir as he wobbles back to the games and keeps drinking and gambling. - Eve threatens to have more demands added to the lawsuit and departs. Jen bangs around the house. JJ wants to help. She rages she needs to go for a walk to clear her head. He goes after her. - Sami sarcastically states how stupid she would be to throw away the beautiful future that awaits with her faithful husband! He asks her to get her perspective. Sami grimaces she has been aware of his affair for weeks and weeks and weeks. She is NOT going to calm down. So he and his perspective can go to hell! She is dedicating herself to making his life HELL! Now as the co-CEO of DiMera, she can do it! EJ is horrified as she vows to go on with her life after 6 months, whereas he will be rotting in prison for tax evasion. He is stunned she did that to him. She set him up! She leers there is more to come. He tries to stop her from leaving and gasps pleeeeeease but Sami walks away, scoffing she will be sure to give Abigail his love. EJ grasps the prison bars, a broken man. - Aiden announces there is no more left to do. Hope gets stressed about what to wear, not only for herself, but also Ciara. The work is just beginning! Aiden grins all he needs is his tux. Hope now wants to let him know their partnership was a one-off. Aiden agrees and they leave. - Dan has summoned Uncle Victor to his place and presents a check for the gala as he will be unable to attend. Victor wonders whether he has been in touch with Brady. Not lately and he is concerned. The Greek grumbles he is worried - about BOTH of them! Dan is baffled. - JJ follows jumpy Jen outside as she angrily accuses evil Eve of being spiteful with the movie. She is money grubbing and vindictive. JJ decides they can both fight her together. He insists he is IN! - Eve heads home and complains to daughter Paige about Jen's amateur approach to the movie rights. She is sure Jen wants to lower her earnings. Her attorney will eat that one for lunch! Paige pouts. Mama Eve now suggests they have a chat about JJ. Mother and daughter are a team and she suspects her daughter is really just testing her by hanging around the druggie. Paige points out that was then, this is JJ now. Eve also knows that he vandalized the town square and is on probation. Paige insists JJ changed and is honest with her about everything. Eve questions whether he was honest with her about trying to have her Aunt Theresa tossed in jail too. This is the first time Paige has heard such a thing and she has no defense of JJ ... - Abigail is home alone and answers the doorbell by opening the Horton door, to Sami, who smiles a dangerous smile and greets her like an old friend. Abigail does not even see it coming ... - Victor demands his godson explain why he is not happy with Jennifer anymore. He refuses to stand by and say nothing like sweet sympathetic sensitive Maggie. He orders him to get over himself and give Jen a break already! Daniel drawls he might not be good enough for her, as she has implied. Victor snaps he sure is and next to Brady the addict he is a saint! The Greek pauses at the door and advises him not to miss out on the happiness within his reach. Life is too short ... - Paige wonders. Eve admits it sounded vague but Theresa was telling the truth. Paige sadly looks down. Mama insists she is doing her a favor by warning her against the bad boy she assumed she knew ... - Jen worries about JJ and Paige but JJ insists his Paige is nothing like her mother. Jen heads home. He will catch up after he calls Paige. Ring ring! Paige sighs hello. JJ explains something came up. Paige demands to know what he did to Theresa. Did he really try to set her up to get arrested? He stammers it was not like that and suggests they meet up so he can explain but it seems she has cut the conversation short. - Sami smiles she is happy to see a friendly face. Abigail gasps is EJ...? Sami smiles he remains locked up like a common criminal. She suggests they pass the time looking at her wonderful wedding photos and promises it will prove enjoyable. Abigail sighs, unable to refuse. - Casual Dan the man in the plaid shirt admires his framed photograph of Jen the good and takes his godfather's advice to heart. But before he can reach out to Jen, Chloe calls (not seen or heard), upset about mama Nancy having surgery. He promises to leave as soon as he has packed Parker's things ... - Back at the Salem Inn, Aiden is in his tuxedo. Hope arrives in a purple gown, her updo accentuating her sultry eyes. Aiden is mesmerized. The gala dream team smile. - Theresa is seated on a plane with sleeping Brady, headed for Salem. She gently picks up his hand and kisses it. They are both now sporting wedding rings! Theresa coos to baby she will keep him safe in the turbulence ... - Eve is unable to find Paige anywhere in the apartment. JJ bangs on the door. She opens it and explains her daughter is not here. JJ thunders he is here to see HER! - EJ frowns and calls himself an idiot in his cell. He is ready to explode. He should have seen it coming! She was like a viper! He starts to trash his room in a fit of rage, lets out the sound of a wounded animal, then falls to his knees sobbing, all alone in the prison of his own making .... - Back at Horton house, Sami shows Abigail the next digital wedding photo on her ipad. She wonders what will happen to EJ. Abigail hopes it will just involve paying a fine. She also hopes he will be alright. Sami smugly doubts it. Now Jen returns and Sami invites her to admire the photos. Jen agrees and they all gush how beautiful Abigail was in her dress that day. Sami glances up at Jack's picture and gushes she wishes he was here to see what kind of a woman his daughter had become. She swipes to the next picture. Tis the incriminating image of Abigail making out with EJ, his hands under her dress. Abigail's mouth falls open in shock. Jen turns a whiter shade of pale ...! THE END |
