There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... - Pretty Paige admires her high school diploma at her humble home. JJ texts, hoping to meet up at the usual spot. She texts him back and he grins. Paige now opens her door to her pal, who is sorry about the gossip she learned. Hoe scandalous that her and JJ's mom are enemies! It means she and JJ are finished! Paige denies it but the friend thinks she should face the facts ... - JJ is on his way out of Horton house to meet with the girl of his dreams but Jen stops him. It is about Eve. She is fighting this lawsuit and will be meeting with attorney Aiden. She knows what Jack's wishes were. She also knows what her son has at stake ... - Dan has just gotten off the phone with the sitter when Eve makes a dramatic entrance into his apartment ... - Clyde clutches the photo of his kids and leers he know he would track 'em down one day! - Meanwhile at the club, Ben agrees it is best to stay in Salem. Jordan teases also because Abigail is here. Ben grins. - At EJ’s prison cell, Abigail exclaims she will not lie! EJ assures her he does not want her to. She snaps Sami could come in at any moment but EJ explains she is busy representing him at the board meeting. Abigail gets glib. He quietly informs her the prosecution is trying to point the finger at him for tax evasion and God knows what else. Abigail stands firm. She still will not lie for him again! - One by one the old boy board members start to vote. Kate acts bored and texts Sami about forgetting something. YOU NEED MY VOTE, B*TCH! Sami smiles oh she almost forgot ... Kate waits in wicked anticipation. Sami announces she also has a letter EJ asked her to read. Kate feigns surprise. She insists Sami read it to them all. - Dan finds this highly irregular and wishes Eve would have called the hospital for an appointment. The devil in the blue dress wants to talk privately and flashes back to Theresa the terrible letting it slip that Jen was his former relationship. Back to reality. Eve explains Dan should not be her surgeon and he might not even want to know her after what she shares! Dan waits for the frantic female to continue. He knows from past experience they always do ... - Paige's pal reminds the girl how much her mom means to her. She will have to choose her side in this fight! - Jen promises JJ she can make this mess go away. He is curious. They are interrupted by the appearance of slick suited attorney Aiden, who has come prepared. Jen promises to continue with JJ later, no worries. JJ heads to his community service job at the square. Back inside, Aiden bears news and he thinks his client will approve. - Eve stammers her half-sister is Theresa Donovan! Papa Shane asked her to check on the wayward one when she got to town. She did and during their discussion, Dan's good name was mentioned. According to Theresa's spin, something went down. Eve laments it sounds like Theresa done him wrong. Dan tries to cut her off. Eve moans she feels sorry for him ... - At the club, Jordan gets her coffee from Ben and teases him for being uncommunicative about Abigail. He sighs he could only get serious if he knew he could trust her, and there were no secrets between them. Jordan pensively sips her coffee. - Abigail accuses EJ of acting like a lie is not really a lie. She agrees not to tell anyone about their sordid affair and tries to mask her bitterness with sarcasm. EJ was not referring to their affair, however. She now realizes he wants her to remain silent about hiring that hit man to kill Nick! EJ almost passes out that she would say such a thing out loud at his jail cell, of all places! - Sami must read out loud that EJ wants Kate to be Samantha's co-CEO. Kate gushes oh my God and claps her red nailed fingers together in delight. - Jordan admits she is still worried about the Rafe situation. Ben gives her a pep talk. Once she tells him her truth, he is convinced the couple will be stronger than ever! - Clyde rummages through Jordan's drawers and advises Arthur the cat to shut up. The feline does. Clyde easily finds Jordan's locked box and calls his Tammy Sue clever. - Dan concludes that Eve wishes to cancel the surgery. She gasps he is professional and she does not want to cause any trouble, given the mess with her sister. She gushes she likes and respects him and already got a new surgeon, Alex Chung. Dan approves of the choice. Eve wants to shake hands. Dan appears relieved. She coos he is so considerate and suggestively squeezes his hand ... - Aiden points out to pouty Jen that some of the wording of Eve and Jack's annulment is almost contradictory, rather vague. He can try and show it needs to be tossed out on technicalities. It could work or there could be a drawn-out battle. He is convinced he can triumph and wonders why she suddenly seems so unhappy. Jen woefully recounts what Jack wanted, for the royalties to help only the veterans. She must speak for Jack. She knows that he would want to avoid his son getting stuck in the middle. She sighs he is dating Eve's daughter. Jack the good father would therefore wiggle out of any potential lawsuit. Aiden seeks clarification. Has Jen decided to give up? - Sami accepts co-CEO Kate. Kate tells her to keep reading. Sami does. The letter has even more praise for Kate. Time to vote! Shin is all for the two women being co-CEOs for no less than 6 months, provided Kate agrees. Kate coos she could not bring herself to refuse. - Abigail assures angry EJ that she knows very well that his hit man did not assassinate Nick. EJ wishes she would keep her voice down. Abigail suggests he only showed her the money to spook her and refuses to be spooked. EJ seems to lose more control of the situation by the minute. Abigail adds she knows what he really wants her to keep her mouth shut about. That he showed her the money! - Relieved Dan drawls he will hand Chung her files as soon as he gets to work. Eve explains she will have to tell her daughter, who is a big Dan fan, Paige Larson. Dan smiles and has high praise for the Stanford-bound student. He offers to put her in touch with a doctor friend in town. Eve is grateful and loudly suggests they stay friends. Dan agrees. Eve pretends to bump into him, then flirts now they can go for that drink one of these days. Pause. - Shin welcomes Sami and Kate, the co-CEOs. Kate thanks the eager applauding board members and purrs they are honored. Sami forces a smile. - Working boy JJ catches up with Paige at the square. He updates her on his optimistic mom. Paige sighs it matters not. JJ suspects her mom is against him now. He cannot give up his dream girl, but admits he is a loser in comparison. She reminds him he has changed since those bad boy days. He does not think her mom will change her mind, however. Paige admits her mom has a history with men ... - EJ gasps his fate and the fate of his family are in Abigail’s hands. He begs her. She agrees to keep her silence about ... everything. She would be ashamed if their affair ever came out. EJ sighs he is sorry. Abigail sadly states he could have been a good man but look what he became. She wistfully walks away and EJ hangs his head. - Dan is thrown. Man eater Eve sweetly states she is interested and drawn to him ... - Jen is not giving up hope and agrees not to sign anything unless Aiden reads it. She would favor a compromise, giving Eve some of the proceeds. Aiden gets it. Jen adds she simply cannot fathom how evil Eve would do such a thing against Jack's wishes. Heaven help her next man victim, whoever he is ... - Dan gasps he is getting over his last relationship. Eve would settle for friendship and smiles she hopes to see him around. At the door, she pauses at Parker's picture and purrs the handsome little devil takes after daddy. Daddy Dan closes the door and cannot help but grin. - Sami and Kate discuss their coup. They have six months. Sami boasts she is taking EJ down. Kate muses she will finish off the phoenix in that time too. They clasp hands like a couple of warrior women, declaring they are partners ... - Jordan is at the park, but gets a message that Rafe was called out of town until tomorrow. So much for their important talk! Kate eventually comes along and purrs she hopes things are alright between her and Rafe as she claimed earlier. Trouble in paradise perhaps? Jordan insists things are good. Kate flashes back to her one night stand with the passionate police professional. She now claims to be happy for the happy couple, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Jordan sticks her nose in the air and takes her leave. Kate muses Tammy Sue will not be happy much longer! - Paige admits her mom wants her to have the flawless life she never had. It makes her super protective and scared. JJ hopes she is not scared. Paige gushes not of him and he smiles. They soon perceive his tough supervisor is watching. Paige does not wish to cause any problems and decides they can talk later. She should go. He grins he hates that. She kisses him and guitar music plays. The happy casual kind. JJ watches his dream girl walk out of view. - At the hospital, Dr. Dan asks Maxine to pass this patient's files on to Chung. Maxine teases he is losing patients. Dan drawls she requested said change to avoid a possible conflict. He is impressed. Maxine muses she sounds nice. Daniel is also impressed by her toughness, though he suspects she could be a handful. He grins again. - Jen has her hair in a demure bun, contrasting with Eve the seductress, who is in a tight blue dress. Jen thanks her for coming to the house and introduces her to attorney Aiden. They are all polite. Eve had no idea she was supposed to bring her lawyer. Jen assures her he is on his way out. Exit Aiden. Eve cattily accuses Jen of collecting another handsome man. Jen gasps she only wanted to talk to her not argue. Eve sits and tells her to start talking. Jen agrees to give her what she wants. Eve screams with delight and agrees, if it is fair. Jen explains it is what she requested, to split the book proceeds 50/50. Eve now decides it is actually not enough! She wants more! - EJ is about to eat his pathetic prison meal when Samantha returns. He encourages her to tell him all about the board meeting, how she managed to shine through. She adds she will keep on shining too, as co-CEO of DiMera. EJ shakes his head in confusion. - Clyde opens Tammy Sue's box of fake IDs. He has that girl now and he is not gonna let her get away this time! - Abigail goes back to Ben at the club and apologizes for taking off without a word. Ben apologizes for even thinking he needed to warn her about EJ cos they are not even close ... - EJ decides it was a joke and laughs. Sami boasts the board voted her and Kate in. EJ chuckles fatha would have not allowed it. Sami smiles sweetly and explains Stefano was nowhere and Kate had his proxy while she had EJ's. She smugly shows him the minutes of the meeting and he starts to stammer and hyperventilate. WOT DID YOU DO?! Sami stops smiling. She leers she just did to him exactly what he did to Abigail.
