Rafe promises they will help clear his name. Steve and Kayla have been summoned. Hope flashes her ring and cheers ensue. They are happy as hell for Hope and Rafe ... Abigail prepares Thomas for a visitor. Dario opens the door and admires his private dancer girl. He feels badly but she insists she wanted to see their union through never mind the timing ... Sonny tells the gang at the station he killed Deimos. Justin demands a word alone with him as his lawyer. Adrienne also doubts he did the deed but Raines steps up, noting it sounded real. Paul looks worried ... Hope tells Steve and Kayla they are not getting married a while. Kayla sighs the day has been a mess. Angelica waltzes in and Steve goes to get in her face. He warns he might stick it to her before she sticks it to Adrienne. She is not afraid of the soldier of fortune and dares him to give it his best ... Justin, Paul and Adrienne try to talk come sense into Sonny, who insists he is not letting JJ take the blame. He announces to Raines he is ready to tell his story. Justin goes with them. Adrienne is aghast but Paul is not surprised, given what a good and honorable man Sonny has always been ... Steve sits back down as he updates them on wicked Angelica. Steve talks windows and vows to neutralize the wicked woman with his baby. They depart together ... Abigail is holding Thomas and Dario starts to worry their story will not be believed by the immigration officer. Knock knock! The officer is led into their temporary home. He asks who was at the wedding. Abigail explains a few family members and gets the pictures. Dario holds Thomas. The officer is impressed the mayor was officiating. Dario gushes they will be one happy family and alludes to them having a baby together too. The officer will start the immigration process ... Kayla follows Steve outside and he declares he has come up with a way to get Angelica out of town ... Back at the station Adrienne and JJ agree Sonny should say nothing! Inside Raines questions whether Sonny is trying to cast doubt for his cousin. Raines wants to know what he knows for a fact. Sonny states he fought with Deimos. Then he recalls he was on the floor, stabbed through the heart. Justin wishes he would stop when Raines notes he himself seems to believe he did it. Sonny answers with a resounding YES. The immigration officer will have his report ready by the morning. Then they should expect many more home visits as the government is being cautious. When he walks out ominous music plays but Dario wants to celebrate with a drink at the club. Abigail will call Jen ... Kayla is dressed as a cute hotel maid and Steve carries the blankets. Angelica is at the bar downing vodka martinis. Housekeeping Kayla gives him the all clear and they enter. Steve is not certain what to search for. They don gloves and he deduces the Spectator is really her cover. Time to toss the room. Kayla wonders what that really means ... JJ wishes Sonny would not throw away his life by confiding in Raines. Meanwhile Raines wants to know if he remembers holding the knife. No. Justin knows for a fact there were no fingerprints found on that knife, which means he must let Sonny go ... Abigail and Dario notice Rafe and Hope having champagne at the club. Hope flashes her ring again. Congratulations follow. Dario informs Rafe he and Abigail wed today. Rafe soap stares. Hope claims Ciara is calling and steps away to take the call. Now Dario gets a call. Abigail explains to Rafe she could not let Dario get killed by the drug kingpin in Mexico. Rafe is grateful. Hope overhears Dario on his phone elated about the big money he just got at a great time ... Kayla sneezes as they search. Angelica cackles outside the room ... Paul updates JJ on Sonny's story. JJ realizes he does not remember stabbing Deimos and notes it is not enough ... The caterer from Marton House that night is being detained by a cranky cop, who makes him stay for his full statement ... Raines steps out to call D.A. Trask. Justin informs Sonny he might be able to get both him and JJ out as there is nothing concrete against them ... Angelica chats on her phone with someone close to her. She complains about the maid leaving her linens in a mess. Kayla listens from under the bed. Angelica complains about her bad dinner date at Chez Rouge. She reminds her friend to keep up the homework and ends the call to go shower. The water starts so Steve and Kayla crawl out from under the bed, making their great escape ... Dario boasts to Abi he got a call about their honeymoon. This is news to her! Dario plans business class to NYC and tickets to Hamilton while staying at a luxury hotel. Abigail is baffled. He adds they are also staying at East Hamptons and a house with a boat. Abigail suspiciously asks how he can afford it ... Raines admits to smug Justin he cannot proceed. Justin slaps Sonny on the back with a smile ... The caterer is about to sign his statement and then spies Sonny. He flashes back to seeing him find dead Deimos and announces he knows who the killer is. Dangerous drums play ... Dario muses he does not mind being in debt for the perfect honeymoon to thank Abigail. She assures him he owes her nothing. Hope arrives with the beverages, apologizing for the bartender being slow. Dario goes to check on him. Hope now hears from Abigail that Dario wants a lavish honeymoon. Hope whispers a warning about Dario possibly taking over Ed's illegal dealings and having dirty money. Rafe and Dario have a shot and Rafe warns him it was not a real wedding. Dario knows that but only for now ... Steve and Kayla consult at the square. Steve suspects Angelica has a partner in crime against his sister ... Raines gets an update on the caterer's statement. The caterer claims to have seen Sonny leaning over dead Deimos stating he got what he deserved. Paul and Sonny embrace. Justin demands to know what they are discussing. The caterer insists this was the guy and points at Sonny ... Dario places a drink in Abigail's hand. She wishes he would save his money. Eerie music plays as she wonders how he could afford a lavish trip. He tells her Myron said his investments are paying off and excuses himself to fire the phone happy bartender ... At the square Kayla teases smooth Steve for being so cool. She flirts she likes investigating with him so he pays their drinks bill in a hurry, ushering her home ... Rafe receives a message from Lani about a new clue at Marton House. He and Hope will check it out. Meanwhile Justin disagrees that Sonny's comment about Deimos getting what he deserved was a confession. Raines drawls the D.A. can decide and reads sad Sonny his rights. Paul stands by his man. Justin and Adrienne are crushed ... DANG! |
