There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Nicole walks all alone at the square in her sorrow and sadly sits at the Horton plaque. Chloe approaches with blond Parker, who peers at her ... Theresa and Victor are watching Brady. She fears he is not waking up fast enough. The Greek is about to get the doctor. He stops when the Salem patient opens his eyes and gasps for answers. His chest hurts. Theresa gets teary eyed as she tells him there was an accident and he had to get a new heart. Brady weakly wonders how he got one so quickly ... Maggie is hanging onto Dan's picture at home. Julie and Caroline are concerned she has not really cried and are at her side. She wants to be alone but they refuse to leave ... Rafe is saddened at the station. He sighs Eric could have killed them all in his intoxicated state and is sorry for his parents. Now he opens Hope's file, more determined than ever to save his friend ... At DiMera mansion Andre sarcastically suggests Ms Brady go home. She demands Stefano, who now enters and exclaims what the hell arrrrre you doing here ... Rafe ends a call to FBI Tim. Like usual there is nothing that leads to Stefano. Lani cannot help but hear his frustration. He laments he has to get proof against Stefano before ... His voice trails off and he flashes back to Hope and her vendetta ... Hope is irate about the gate making it hard to gain access to the mansion. Andre leers about keeping the loons out. Stefano snaps at Hope to get out and take Andre with her as he wants him to fetch Chad. Andre elegantly exits. Hope is left alone with the phoenix and unleashes her fury, vowing not to leave without a confession. She is armed and dangerous ... At the square, Parker greets Nicole and innocently asks why she is wearing his father's coat. She cries about feeling closer to him. Chloe is at a loss. Parker scurries off to say hello to a friend so the women get a moment alone. They console one another with an embrace. Chloe admits she knows not how to tell Parker and fears she will make it worse. Nicole offers to help ... Marlena and Roman worriedly watch sleeping Eric, who has been administered the risky drugs for his heart. John arrives and places a supportive hand on the shoulder of the woman he loves. The man in black wants her to take a walk for some fresh air as she has been here all night. Roman seconds the motion. Marlena fights back the tears and asks about Brady. She tells John to be positive for he is young and strong. Once alone with Roman, John offers him a coffee. Roman refuses the coffee but thanks him for what he tried to do earlier. John thinks nothing of it and admits he is worried about doc. First Will and now this. Roman would rather wait for the drugs to work on his son. John sympathetically assumes he is going to be arrested ... Theresa sheds many tears as she tells Brady his heart transplant was a success that is all that matters. Victor echoes the sentiment. Brady is sorry he made them worry. She tenderly tells him to sleep. But Brady senses they are hiding something from him. When Dr. Finn arrives he fibs his heart rate feels fast. It gives the doctor a reason to usher the family out. Brady now gasps for answers. He finds out there was an accident but Jen is alright and Eric is being treated. Brady now asks about his good friend Daniel, the passenger. Finn pauses ... Back at DiMera mansion, the drama escalates like never before. Stefano taunts Hope for being as borrring and predictable as usual. He refers to Bo as an ape. Hope has hatred in her eyes and screams she will make him pay for taking Bo from her ... Marlena comes back with a smile on her face about Brady waking up. She has tears in her eyes as she gushes at least there is some good news. Roman excuses himself to check in with the station ... Stefano threatens to have security throw Hope out. She reveals she is armed. He calls her insane but Hope insists this time she is very sane so they will have a different kind of ending. She rages for what he did to sweet Ciara, having his men kidnap and terrorize her. Protecting her child is what had driven her to confront the dastardly DiMera. She declares it is over. Stefano scoffs as long as he breathes it will never be overrrr ... Marlena turns down John's suggestion she spend at least an hour at home to sleep. She asks for a moment alone with her son. She sits at Eric's side and holds his hand. The fallen father starts to stir ... Rafe gets a call from Roman and says he is sorry. He offers to come to the hospital but Roman thinks that is not necessary. When he mentions Hope's case, Rafe admits the main suspect seems to be Stefano ... Lani tries to help Rafe by getting an IT expert to track Malcolm's last calls. They seemed to be to the lake area, where the DiMeras live. Rafe grins Victor also lives in the lake area but thanks her for the effort. Then he leaves for Hope's house ... Stefano cackles when Hope orders him to confess. He insults Bo and taunts her to take the loaded gun in the top drawer ... Marlena must tell Eric that there was an accident. He remembers he drank too much and believes he is therefore to blame ... Brady is horrified to hear that Daniel died. He holds himself responsible for he was the one who drove back as he forgot something. Finn tells him to take care of his health for Daniel gave him his heart. Brady breaks down and cries ... Stefano sarcastically announces he will LIE his confession and admits to everything. He declares she is a defeated powerless joke. Hope suddenly points her gun at him and taunts is she?! ... Eric is inconsolable over killing his best friend ... Julie and Caroline stay with Maggie, who soon opens up about how bitter she felt for not having Daniel in his younger years. She slowly states she then told herself at least she had Dan the man and could watch him raise Parker. All of a sudden she remembers that Parker has lost his daddy and breaks down sobbing. Julie and Caroline console her ... At the square Nicole and Chloe have broken the news to poor Parker together that his father is not on the earth anymore. He is with the angels watching over him. The little lad cries and the two women who loved Dan cry with him ... Ciara opens the door and informs Rafe she knows not where her mother is. There was no note and she has been gone since she got up. Rafe casually claims to think she went out for breakfast, but gets a worried look on his face when he walks out. He gasps Oh God and races to stop her before it is too late ... Stefano stands up, his hand on the table. He laughs and taunts Hope for lacking the courage to kill him. But when he insults Bo again she snaps and shoots him through the heart, firing two more shots.
