There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Abigail is fast asleep on a hospital waiting room sofa. She dreams of Chad romantically announcing that she and Thomas are his true family, not those other DiMeras. She wakes up with stars in her eyes since that dream is now a romantic reality ... At DiMera mansion, Chad is duping the DiMeras who done him wrong! He fibs to father and Andre that Belle trusts him but is totally unaware of Sami's location or the location of their lost money. She did admit all that Sami had done but knows nothing more. Andre purses his lips. Stefano asks if he is certain. He is and slyly suggests they drop Belle as a person of interest ... Steve tenderly takes Kayla into their house and assures the tired doctor who wishes she had done more that she did as much as she could. It is a miracle that Dan's noble heart now beats inside of Brady. He massages her tight shoulders, then takes a look at the fridge to get his baby some food. Not much there. Kayla falls asleep and he covers her with a blanket. It bothers him to see sweetness so stressed ... Meanwhile Ava is stuffing several baby pictures into an envelope she intends to leave conspicuously open ... At the house she used to share with Bo, Rafe urges Hope to trust in him. She thanks him for his concern but refuses to back down in her quest for justice. Rafe is unable to reason with her and departs dismayed. Hope now gets back to the business of trying to find the proof she so desperately needs. She wishes Bo would give her some kind of sign. Steve calls and requests a meeting. She quips she is busy and hangs up. He now comes knocking on her door but she tells him to go away ... Phillip hangs around in order to see Belle at the hospital. He invites her out for some food. She turns him down so he settles for taking her home instead ... Abigail is happy to hear that Thomas can leave the hospital as soon as his little person wakes up. She tries to text Chad and wonders where oh where he might be ... Chad is on the move ... At DiMera mansion Andre is having a game of chess with Stefano, who is still on top of his game. Andre believes brother Chad was wrong about Belle but Stefano dismisses him and opts for opera music ... Belle is getting clothes together for her parents, who are spending the night at the hospital. She now opens her door to Chad, who tells her the truth about Andre and Stefano forcing him to flirt with her for information on Sami. He told them she knew nothing but be warned, do not trust anyone, especially Andre. Belle appears disappointed his attention to her is going to stop. He admits he will have to see her now and then so the DiMeras do not suspect him of duping them ... Ciara races outside in the morning light, hyperventilating about a nightmare. Dream Hope had told her to run and she could not breathe! Hope brings her daughter back inside and promises to protect her and deal with the dastardly people who pose a threat. Ciara falls asleep on her ... Steve spies coughing Ava at the square. He is holding a bag of food for Kayla and enquires how Ava is feeling. She acts like a fragile flower who is falling apart and smiles to say hello to Kayla. Then she bumbles away, dropping her envelope to the ground. Patch picks it up and calls after her but she is already gone ... Chad joins Abigail at the hospital. She is thrilled to see him. He brings her up to date on playing the family so they do not suspect a thing and shares her joy that Thomas can come home. The baby is placed in his arms and the proud papa admires his son ... Andre has a visitor. Detective Rafe Hernandez and he has questions. Andre refuses to let him see Stefano and elegantly gives him 10 minutes of his time. Rafe suggests Stefano is not quite himself and Andre accuses him of acting like he wanted the serum for him! He blasts the incompetence of the Salem P.D. Rafe admits they made mistakes with Chad the innocent man. However, proof was planted. He sarcastically states the DiMeras would not want to hide the proof about who was responsible for Malcolm in addition to his subsequent murder. Andre tells him his time is up. Rafe sarcastically departs. Andre is a tad rattled ... At Horton house, Chad and Abigail sit near their sleeping son's bassinet. He boasts how he warned Belle about la familia and managed to dupe the DiMeras. Chad chuckles he pulled off his deception like a DiMera. Abigail is worried about retaliation. He explains he will have to continue the charade. When the baby cries he springs to his bassinet. Thomas stops crying. Abigail gushes he feels his folks love him. Chad has his arm draped around her and gushes they love each other as well. Then he gives her a looooong kiss ... Hope steps away from sleeping Ciara, who is on the sofa, and gets her gun from the closet. Then she slips out ... Belle picks up some food for her folks at the club, where Phillip happens to be working. He asks her to join him at a table and tell him what is wrong. Belle blurts out everything, from Sami stealing the money to Chad duping the DiMeras who ordered him to pump her for information. She admits Sami deposited half of the 500 million into a Caribbean bank account for her! She wonders whether she should give it to Stefano. Phillip smoothly states that would make him come after her for the other half. She swears him to secrecy. Philip smiles like a snake and places his hand on hers, telling her he is here for her. He wants to help ... Kayla wakes up home alone ... Steve opens the envelope and looks at the baby photos that Ava dropped. He stares at one baby picture in particular ... Ava returns to her room and dances around as she gets undressed, her back covered with a serpent tattoo. She moves like a serpent and smiles it is showtime ... Steve returns to Kayla and shows her the baby pictures that fell from Ava's bag. She wonders who the baby is. He thinks it is Ava's but that is all he knows ... Rafe is pleased with his performance at DiMera mansion. He returns to the station and sits down at his desk, only to discover an article on his ipad about Dan's death. He gasps Oh my God and chokes back the tears ... Vigilante Hope bursts into DiMera mansion and demands Andre get his father. Andre stands up and gives her a dark deadly DiMera stare. Vigilante Hope's eyes are inches away and she glares right back. Andre moves his head slightly like a snake ready to strike ... THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Chloe comes back to a sadder Salem. Brady slowly wakes up. Hope tries to take on Stefano! Marlena fears the life Eric will have ... |
