These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Maggie finds Victor frowning at the mansion. She wonders what transpired. He tells her how it troubles him to lose the family he loves - and then there is brother Deimos, whom he had the misfortune of having to introduce to Phillip as his uncle moments ago. He never thought the bad brother would see the light of day again but here he is ... At the park Phillip stammers to Deimos he did not get the serum yet. Deimos wonders what is stopping him. Phillip does not want to steal it. Deimos threatens to expose what he knows about Phillip to his father if he does not follow through fast. He has until tomorrow to get the information he wants. Deimos now departs, his eyes as cold as ice ... Shawn returns Claire's call from Maine. She exclaims she needs him to come home. Belle appears, all packed for her weekend, and exclaims CLAIRE! Claire fibs she is stressing over a test. Shawn deduces her mom is in the room. She does not deny it ... Theresa is at the hospital, where she has been spending every waking moment with Brady. She gets a summons from Kate, who needs to see both her and Nicole at the club. The success of Basic Black is counting on the three of them and the time is now ... Theresa returns to Brady, who wakes up with a start. He had a strange dream, almost as though he was kissing Nicole as Daniel in the past. He is vague with Theresa but tells her before she goes to meet Kate the dragon lady, she should ask Marlena to meet him here. Brady has questions about these strange sensations and images he has been experiencing ... Victor updates Maggie on the dangers of Deimos the black sheep of the family. He was 20 when he went to prison for 30 years. Maggie notes he is much younger. Victor sighs he was the son of his father and his second wife. What Victor wanted he always tried to take away. The Greek grumbles he even seduced his fiancee Helena days before they were to be wed. Maggie wonders what happened next. Victor solemnly states she went running to Deimos after he confronted her and wound up DEAD. He claims the police believed Deimos had pushed her off the cliff to her death. Maggie is horrified by the history and asks what his next move will be. To get rid of Deimos! Nicole is drinking from a wine bottle all by her lonesome on Dan's sofa. She obsesses over the same video of them together over and over again. Her alter ego in a cocktail dress appears and snaps to get it together. She is her strong side, the survivor. She talks tough. Nicole cries no one needs her anymore and she lost Daniel. Nicole the survivor suggests she consider that SHE was the one who got her Daniel in the first place for he never would have liked this simpering self-pitying creature ... John is with Marlena in her office. He wonders about her plan for Eric. She admits she momentarily wanted to sneak her son out of the country so he could hide far away. John is sympathetic since now that he is awake Eric needs to face the charges. Marlena fights back the tears and tells him she knows Eric will want to face those charges, good man that he is. She wonders what the information John has is. He diverts his gaze and admits Eduardo gave him the address of his biological mother. She has her doubts. John does as well but explains Eduardo was able to obtain it from the agency, who wanted him to stop snooping around Winterthorne. He confesses he called her. Marlena suggests he do even better and go see her in person. John notes she is in New Orleans. He would be gone for more than a few days and now is not the best time. Marlena assures him she would be alright and advises him to follow his path. They share a heartfelt hug ... Ava is smug as a bug that Kayla's letter indicates she was en route to a board summons. She sends Joey and Steve a dictated message from Kayla's phone that the meeting does not allow phones so there can be no calls while she is in DC. Then she cackles. Steve gets the message and calls anyway, leaving sweetness a supportive message. He does not suspect a thing ... Theresa knocks at the door and implores Nicole to open up. She and Kate need her. They need to be a team cos together is how they will make Basic Black work. She waits and waits and Nicole does nothing. Her alter ego tells Nicole to think of what Daniel would want so she woefully heads into the bathroom for a shower ... Marlena gets Theresa's message about Brady and tells John she will see him when he returns. She urges him to be cautious. John is somewhat subdued ... Belle arrives at the Kiriakis mansion looking for Phillip. Victor pleasantly asks about the state of things with Shawn and she announces he dumped her. Phillip is secretly listening. He emerges and Victor takes him aside for a word. He feels Phillip would do well to focus on business instead of Belle ... Steve shows up at Ava's room and accuses her of playing mind games with his sixteen-year-old son. He rages at her for lying all this time. Ava flashes back to knocking out Kayla with the candlestick and gulps. Steve glares at her with disgust and declares he no longer trusts her. She brings up their baby and asks how that will affect his search. She hands him the file she has on his sale and lets him know she will accept whatever decision he makes. Steve starts to feel guilty ... Victor Kiriakis is drinking alone at his mansion as he remembers hearing Helena when they argued and she begged him to STOP. Meanwhile Deimos finishes his strong coffee at the square and symbolically turns the empty cup upside down, his eyes dark ... Brady is most grateful when Marlena meets him in his room. He emotionally laments he has been having feelings like Daniel. She smiles and suggests that is since he has a part of Daniel and subconsciously does not want to let him go. Brady wishes the murky memories that are not his would stop. She explains to just watch them and they will pass with time ... Brady is later fast asleep when Nicole creeps into his room. She cannot resist placing her hand on his heart. Brady wakes up and understands. He tells her about his feelings, his dreams almost as though Daniel is now a part of him. Finn enters and greets Nicole. It is time for Brady's walk so he goes out to get the PT. Brady notes walking is good for his ... heart ... At the nurse's station Theresa talks to Finn about what Brady will be needing. He informs her Victor already set the necessary equipment up at his mansion. Theresa insists Brady will be going home with her and suggests he stand up to Victor cos Brady needs her ... Nicole and Brady's eyes are filled with tears. She lies down, her head on his heart, and he holds her tenderly. She whispers she can feel it beating. Theresa opens the door and stares at the scene in shock ... John is warmly greeted in the New Orleans living room of a little old lady who gushes she cannot believe he is here! She clasps her hands together with glee but John has been burnt before and puts his mother to the test. He tells her to tell him something only a mother would know. She mentions the birthmark above his knee on the left leg that is probably much smaller now. He gets choked up and asks her to tell him everything. He yearns to know who he is and where he came from ... Claire hugs Shawn at the Salem square and then updates him on her mother not being herself. She is worried she went to Vegas with Phillip and implores him to save her from herself ... Phillip shows Belle into their swanky Vegas hotel room. He drawls they don't have a meeting until later and wonders whether she would like to gamble, eat or ... Belle suddenly grabs him in a passionate kiss and he kisses her right back. But will what happens in Vegas stay in Vegas?! THE END Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Rafe kisses Hope. John hears the story of his past. Andre fears the worst. Fling in Vegas! |
