These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Commissioner Roman escorts haunted Hope into another room for a private unrecorded conversation. Officer Lani protests. Rafe is rather tight lipped. Lani wonders why the about-face as she assumed he wanted to prove Hope's innocence. Rafe drawls Lani was the one who changed his mind. Meanwhile Roman exclaims his trademark what da hell, to which Hope reasons it was really a matter of self-defense, not murder. She had blocked from her mind the whole sordid matter but the memories are back. Roman wonders what cause Malcolm would have to attack her. She updates him on the deal he wanted to make - half a million for information on who and what happened to Bo ... At the club, Belle is busily working at a table. Phillip the flirt shows her the itinerary for the Kiriakis jet. He has a couple of meetings scheduled in VEGAS and urges her to join him for fun and sun in the city of sin this weekend. Belle quips he would never stop working. Besides, she has clients for her new practice. Phil suggests her clients are not important as she is filthy rich and insists she come. He does not want to take no for an answer ... Eve surprises music protege Claire at home with an invitation she got her to audition for Julliard. Clare is not interested in leaving Salem and gives her family as the reason. Eve pushes her to put singing first and suggests she ask her mother. She does not want to take no for an answer ... Caroline has summoned Justin to the square to speak to him of a name she has been writing down. Deimos. She senses this vision is connected to Victor as the other one was. There was a bloody knife! The name does not ring a bell for the D.A. and he talks down to the matriarch, doubting there are any visions. The matriarch gets mad and warns him he will regret his inaction. She storms off before he can stop her. Justin stands up with a sigh. He now spies Eve, who proceeds to complain about Claire. She suggests Belle does not do right by her daughter. Justin advises her not to try and replace Paige with Claire for she has her own mother. Eve gets defensive and denies that is what she was doing ... Victor is at the Kiriakis mansion, where a Mediterranean man is waiting for him, his back turned. The Greek gets his gun out and holds it like he is ready to fire. His face filled with fury, he demands to know what the hell Deimos is doing in his house. Deimos turns around with a sly smile and greets BROTHER. Victor frowns, still holding the gun and demands to know how the hell he got out of the life sentence he was serving in prison. Deimos smiles he got out after a mere thirty years for good behavior. Victor suspects he is out for revenge. Deimos denies it. He alludes to the fact that his brother needs to atone and brings up his beautiful family. Victor accuses him of studying his family. Deimos beats on his chest and bellows he IS family so they are also his family. He now lets him know he needs a job. Victor refuses to hire him and tries to kick his stubborn sibling out ... Belle seems to warm somewhat to the idea of Vegas when Phillip produces two tickets to Gladys Knight ... Roman warns Hope that whether or not she is charged will be at the discretion of the D.A. He now urges her to call a lawyer cos she is gonna need one. Rafe watches from the window with worry. Hope has informed Roman that she only got her memory back yesterday and told Rafe first ... Belle gets the call from Hope and takes off in a hurry. Phil sits down and Claire comes up to his table. She implores him to give her folks space so they can find their way back together. Phil pretends to play along but warns her he once went down that road and was painfully aware he could not stop his parents from splitting up ... Deimos is dire when he warns big brother he cannot hide from his past or the fact that they are family ... Eve gets emotional about no one being able to take the place of her Paige. Not ever. Justin is sorry and suggests they have dinner sometime. She woefully wonders whether he is not over Adrienne as she has sensed a certain hesitation. Justin the straight shooter admits he is not ready for any commitment if she wants to wait and see what happens. He gives her a kiss on the cheek and departs, for the D.A. has been summoned by Commissioner Roman Brady and it is BIG ... Back at the station, Roman interrogates Rafe about his involvement. Rafe explains he offered to bring her in after she confided in him. Roman admits he is concerned Hope could still get prison time ... Phillip walks in on Victor and Deimos, who pleasantly introduces himself as uncle number three. This is the first Phillip claims to have heard of him. Victor snaps he is dead to him and orders him out. Deimos reminds him they still have much to discuss and departs. Victor ominously advises Phillip to forget about that one and avoid him like the plague. He growls by the time he gets back from Vegas, Deimos will be HISTORY ... Belle sits with Hope as her attorney. She would rather wait but Hope agrees to give a statement as she is recorded. Belle wants her protest on the record. D.A. Justin politely tells her it is duly noted. Roman and Rafe watch with worry. Lani watches them watching ... Hope tells the story of making a deal with Malcolm to give him half a million in money in exchange for the full story on what happened to Bo, who done him wrong. However, when she got to the park he refused to spill and attacked her for the money. She instinctively reached for her gun and shot him in self-defense. Then due to stress, the entire scene was erased from her mind. Until yesterday. D.A. Justin acts sympathetic and declares he does not intend to press charges. Hope is free to go, given how the weeping widow has already suffered enough. Once alone with the commissioner, they converse about the case. Roman grins he believed her about as much as Justin did ... Belle heads home to Claire, who complains about Eve not coming to her mom first about the Julliard audition. She asks her to spend time with her this weekend perhaps shopping in Chicago. Belle hugs her, then vaguely replies she has a business trip. Claire pouts and waits until she is alone. Then she makes an urgent call to Shawn, leaving a message to come to Salem right away cos Belle needs him. It sounds like a matter of life and death ... Eve cannot help but notice all the happy couples at the town square. She feels even more alone as she reads an old note from little girl Paige about loving her mommy. She melts down in tears ... Phillip and Deimos sneakily meet on a park bench, staring ahead. Deimos hopes he took the necessary precautions and was not followed. Phillip is certain no one tailed him. Deimos now asks for an update. What does he have to tell him ... At the station, Hope hugs Rafe in relief. He whispers they are almost out of the woods, unaware that Lani is nearby watching. She senses something is very wrong with the strange story the D.A decided to accept at face value. And the cop in Lani cannot seem to let it slide ... THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Victor tells Maggie the story of Deimos ... Shawn is hooooooooooome! John meets his sweet mom but nothing is as it seems! Steve gets angry at Ava about Joey. |
