ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Link Only! FACING THE MUSIC! Thursday, January 15, 2015 Episode 12,505 Beware of copycats. These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Mel is charmingly chattering on a call with Brady. He has invited her to come over to the house. She smiles it's a date! Daddy Dan is home at the apartment and wonders WHO that date is with. Mel makes light of it, and stammers about spending time with a ... friend. Dan notes he told her about Nicole. Mel acts like there is no secret date as he suspects, she is just seeing a friend. She steps into her room to get changed. Dan has a look at her last caller. Brady! Dan calls him and casually asks him to bring back that mountain bike he lent him - now, cos he was hoping for a ride. Brady agrees to bring it by. He then frantically texts Mel that he is on his way over, having been summoned by Dan. Alas Mel is already in the other room changing and does not notice any texts. When she later emerges in a pretty pink dress that clings to her like a sex kitten, Dan the man muses that must be some friend she is meeting ... At Horton house, JJ hangs his head and hopelessly admits to Jen he cheated. Jen asks if he harbors feelings for the girl he cheated with. JJ exclaims no, matter of fact he HATES her. And he means it too ... Meanwhile at the park, Eve blanches. Paige just pointed out she knows the girl JJ cheated with. Eve is relieved when she realizes her teary daughter knows only from his reaction and still has no name. Paige rages what kind of a person would move in on the guy everyone knew she loved?! Eve slyly suggests she forget JJ the cheater and move on. How about a brand new start at Stanford and L.A.? They can catch a flight tonight! Paige pouts ... At DiMera mansion, Kate smugly ends another successful business call with Shin. Chad shows off his knowledge of Mandarin, then demands the diva explain herself. He knows for a fact she was in on that PR stunt with Clyde to make him appear like the new patron saint of Salem! He suspects she wanted to stick it to Jordan. Kate cruelly mocks his lady love. Chad bellows to back off from Jordan, his blue eyes blazing. Kate taunts he is close to being the next Stefano, but not quite. He is lacking enough experience in the romance department, which is why Jordan is able to manipulate him with such ease... At the club, Ben is still grumbling about Jordan not forgiving him. Abigail thinks she will come around after accepting new improved Clyde. Ben loudly loses his patience with her for believing such a thing. Abigail argues he accepted his father's offer to pay his tuition. Belligerent Ben snaps but Jordan had it way worse than him once upon a tragic time. All of a sudden it dawns on him where she must have headed and he takes off ... Clyde once again has Jordan caught in his powerful grip in his room. He rages she crashed the car on purpose to kill mama and her unborn son all cos she would not leave him like she wanted.Jordan cries that is not true! The manipulative mountain man paints the picture of her mother needing a ride to the doctor. Jordan cries and agrees that could be correct. Her memories remain fuzzy, though she stands firm on the fact that mama had insisted she drive. Clyde rages Tammy Sue went and killed them and then he covered for her. She falls to the floor and he sneers she needs a drink. He hands one to her and she downs it fast, to forget the pain. The manipulative mountain man is not done yet ... He points out he covered for her cos Ben needed her after his mama was gone. He now alludes to what he did to the poor girl after and hastily states he said he was sorry and knows he will answer to that one day BUT the main thing is that she committed a crime against mama and her unborn baby and if she tries to mess up his progress with brother Ben, he will expose her. Jordan the victim looks confused and scared. Clyde coldly suggests she pull herself together and get out ... Maggie is at the door of Horton house, happily there to visit. She notes the long faces and wonders whether she chose a bad time. JJ decides he was just leaving and Jen follows him to the front door. She wishes he would stay. He sighs it was weird enough already and bolts when she brings up her hope that he used protection ... Ben shows up at Clyde's room to save his sister.He perceives her puffy red eyes, her sad face,and talks tough with Clyde, demanding answers. Paige wipes away her tears and refuses to leave Salem. Eve is unable to stop her when she walks away to clear her head. The cougar mom is mad as heck at JJ and sends him a text. They need to talk ... Ben wants to know why Jordan was crying. She covers that she overreacted but came around to accept that the project needed the money Clyde donated more than anything else ... Ben apologizes for keeping the donor a secret. She apologizes for overreacting. Ben now informs her that Abi was trying to find her. Jordan regains her composure and takes her leave, Clyde asks his boy to stay. He proceeds to praise him for starting college tomorrow. Ben appears baffled by his benevolent behavior, then gets an eyeful when Kate shows up for her date with Clyde. Kate coos how sorry she is for her accidental involvement in Clyde's generous donation going public. After bewildered Ben goes, she cackles Clyde sounds almost as good as the great Tom Horton in the online news. Clyde kisses her and claims to want Victor Kiriakis to read all about his good deed. Kate suddenly stops and eyes him. Why Victor? He smoothly states he suspects he dislikes him on account of them being together and kisses his sweetheart again ... Brady has arrived at Dan's apartment. Dan teases him for his opinion of Mel in her pink dress. Brady blushes and gets tongue tied. They act like they had no plans together. Mel finally does see his texts and takes off in a hurry. Dan invites Brady to stay, and grins as he cringes. Brady babbles about having a meeting and also takes off ... Maggie is sorry she walked in on something and encourages worried Jen not to lose hope with JJ. Jen wishes she could tell Maggie the problem ... Once the redhead hugs her and leaves, Jen places a call to Dan and shyly asks for his help with JJ. He would be happy to step up for her son but cannot talk to her tonight. How about tomorrow? Jen will call him then to set something up. She is grateful for his help and vows to somehow save her suffering son ... Abigail is all alone in the hospital lounge. Chad arrives,desperately seeking Jordan. Abi admits she knows not her whereabouts. She lets Chad know she does not approve of him allowing Jordan to believe he was her secret donor. Chad thinks she should blame Ben for the blunder. Abigail sighs he is not even speaking to her about it and is angry. Chad overreacts, insisting Abigail is innocent! Furthermore, Ben is a fool not to appreciate her ... Just then Jordan arrives. She apologizes for her absence, and gets her lab coat on, wanting only to get to work. Chad gives her a brief kiss and leaves the room. Outside, he wonders about something ... Maggie is with Dan, who decided to tell her face to face that he is going on a date with Nicole. They will be attending the grand opening of Victor's new club together. The redhead remarks she still has reservations about that one ... Paige and her pal are at the pub.The pal advises her to forget about the other girl but Paige see things differently. Her eyes flashing, she vows to find out who the beech was and get revenge ... Meanwhile JJ meets Eve at the park. Eve lectures him for letting Paige read him and warns him not to let anything slip to his little pothead pals. If he loves Paige, he will make sure she never finds out for her mother is all she has. Knowledge of their affair would spell her daughter's ruin! Brady and Mel meet up in the living room at the house of Kiraikis. They are alone now and giggle about the awkwardness. But Brady fears friend Dan has seen him at his worst so he might not approve of their dating. Mel asks if they should question the craziness of the notion of them dating. Naaaaah. The billionaire heir decides they should focus on having fun and go elsewhere. Mel stands up after him and they are mesmerized. Their lips meet in a passionate kiss. They are so wrapped up in each other that they fail to notice Maggie has come home ... until she walks in on them with a gasp. Then they stop and turn to face the music ...!
