ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Link Only! SUSPICIOUS MINDS Wednesday, January 14, 2015 Episode 12,504 Beware of copycats. These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Marlena has summoned Rafe to the park, where she points out how worried Gabi is that he will leave Salem. Rafe is grateful for Marlena's goodness and intends to keep visiting his sister, but he has no real options in town. He chuckles about the club job offer from Victor. Marlena, however, finds nothing funny about making a living. Rafe promises to give it some thought and they merrily go their separate ways ... At the square, Hope curtly apologizes to Aiden for her apparent intrusion and starts to walk away. He implores her to stop and hear him out. Chase is now at the toy store with a friend and the friend's mother so they can speak more freely. Hope is subdued. Aiden assures her that Chase is sorry and adds he is a child. Hope notes Aiden, on the other hand, is not a child. Aiden sighs and apologizes. He excuses away his so-called stress by stating as soon as he got involved with Hope, he felt the need to put his late wife's beach house on the market. That was where she died! Hope still suggests he not sell the house Chase loves so much on her account. He alludes to having other reasons and continues to smooth things over. They briefly kiss and Hope must depart for a meeting. The dedicated detective's eyes mirror her suspicions. Once she steps away, the smile fades from her lover's face ... At the college, Paige will not let JJ leave without at least giving her the name of his other woman. JJ refuses. Paige realizes she must know her! She does not understand how JJ could be like this after declaring he loved her. JJ snaps she was the one who said to forget her so he did what any guy would do. Besides, he was bored ... Paige slaps him across the face and hisses go to hell! JJ glumly goes. Paige is an emotional wreck ... Meanwhile at Horton house, Jen presses Eve to spill what she knows. Eve dances around the topic until Jen deduces she knows what broke up JJ and Paige and merely came over to find out if Jen knew too! Eve leers she would not want to hear it, then backtracks again. She hisses Jen seems to have been a worse influence on JJ than Jack, warns her against letting her son anywhere near her daughter, and departs. Jen stands at the fireplace, waiting for JJ to return. She intends to pry the real reason he and Paige broke up from him ... At the hospital, Ben grumbles about Jordan being mad to the point of never forgiving him. Abigail assures him she will see the light for Clyde is truly trying to change ... Clyde has Jordan caught in his powerful grip in his room. He thunders she thinks she is too high and almighty for him, unlike Ben, who is coming around. His temper gets the better of him and he raises a hand to strike her. Jordan dares him to do it. Clyde gets up instead and pours himself a drink to regain his self-control. Jordan stands up and screams nothing has changed but she WILL have her say. If Dr. Marlena was aware of what he had done ... Clyde snaps all he did was do what SHE wanted! Anne interrupts Ben and Abi,lamenting she has project business to discuss with Jordan, who has gone AWOL. Baristo Ben sends her a text and heads off to work. Abigail gets to texting, but has no luck. She asks if she can help. Anne shows her some legal fine print that is not clear. Abigail agrees it could be put in plainer language and the HR diva decides perhaps they can work together after all. Who knew?! At the pub, Commissioner Abe faces man in black John and gets straight to the point. He needs a good man on the police force and offers him a position. John had not been expecting this, corporate executive that he now is. Abe informs him his help is needed. They lost Rafe and the morale is down. Besides,he thrives on the game. He urges his old friend to consider. John will do,his hawkish face intense ... When Marlena joins him at his table, he tells her of the unexpected offer, suavely stating he had other things in mind like vacations ,long walks ... Marlena smiles like cruises? The sedentary life is not for them! John grins. He raises an eyebrow and roguishly raises her hand to his lips, praising this beautiful woman who always amazes and fascinates him. The blonde blushes and gushes ... Rafe walks into the club and casually asks after Sonny. Baristo Ben replies he is not at work and adds he is sorry Rafe is no longer with the force. It a a pity for Jordan has enough drama in her life without Chad the deceitful DiMera. Rafe suggests she will see through him like Abigail did. Ben frowns. But without the badge, Rafe will not be able to go after Chad. Rafe wonders where that assumption came from. Ben is more than happy to share what he overheard Chad boasting on the phone - how he was rid of Rafe and his snooping. Rafe takes it all in and later lets Ben know he is not done with DiMera yet. Ben is pleased to hear it, But he has no idea why Rafe was also curious about Victor's new club ... Clyde cannot believe it when Jordan reveals that Ben revealed that he was the secret donor. He then praises his son for his support. Jordan accuses him of wanting everyone to find out he had donated the money. But writing a check cannot erase those beatings! Clyde is about to level an ugly accusation of his own ... JJ heads home to Horton house, hanging his head. Jen urges him to take her into his confidence. She needs to know the real reason he broke up with the girl of his dreams ... Paige cries her heart out on a park bench. Mama Eve comes along and consoles her over losing JJ, claiming all boys are the same, never mind that L word .. Abe is with Hope at the park and she is all for John returning to the force. Abe can see his dedicated detective is distracted. She sighs it is Aiden, the man she is moving on with. He is very different from Bo ...and she suspects he is hiding something ... Meanwhile back at the square, Aiden lets his son know his mind is made up and he is selling the house. The time has come to make new memories in Salem, forget the past. Chase challenges his view and does not agree ... He suddenly excuses himself to go play with his pal ... Rafe has made his decision. He calls Victor and announces he is IN! When is the grand opening? Sooner than he had been expecting! Eve is horrified when Paige shares what JJ shared - he cheated on her and it was with someone she knows! The cougar mom pales considerably ... Ben is at the club, worrying about Jordan. Abigail lets him know she has not heard anything either. Ben exclaims where the hell is she? Clyde accuses Tammy Sue of conveniently forgetting how he has covered for her. Jordan cries that was an accident! She will not listen to his lies! Clyde grabs her and accuses her of killing pregnant mama on purpose when she would not leave him and she killed her baby boy along with her ...! THE END Ahead on DAYS: Mel and Brady are busted! |
