She angrily hangs up on an incompetent person. Lucas wonders. Kate sighs Nick is back to work tomorrow and her P.I. has nothing on Jordan despite her hefty payments. Lucas thinks Kate is crazy to hire Nick the notorious. Sami will be furious. Kate sips her martini and muses Sami is under control. Lucas is livid she must have confided in Sami before him. Kate the jealous cat would rather discuss the Jordan issue. Why is there no trail of those fake IDs! Lucas puts on his thinking cap and points out she might not have used them. If she had, she surely would not have left them lying around. Kate purrs he is a genius. They are future IDs not past ones! - Jordan gets back in bed with sleeping Rafe and he kisses her under the gray sheets. She was at the hospital with a patient and inspired the patient to get through the work fast. Rafe roguishly drawls he too is inspired and they get back to their lovin. - Will enters the apartment in his leather jacket, with a bag and a spring in his step. Sonny smiles and asks where he went. Will took the liberty of getting Sonny an engagement ring and slips it on his finger. Sonny smiles and slips his engagement ring on Will’s finger. It is now official! They marvel the rings are perfect and kiss in bliss. Will holds Sonny’s hand and emotionally explains he never knew love like this before. They kiss and laugh and fall onto the couch. Will places his hand on Sonny’s heart and adds but there is nothing in this wild world that will prepare him for mama Sami in wedding planning mode. Sonny chuckles there is also his mom Adrienne in wedding planning mode. They decide to tell the mothers the good news after their own private celebration. Sonny kisses him again ... - Jen opens her Horton door to dapper Liam, who bears flowers and congratulations on the wonderful news about JJ. The blonde pouts, thanks him, and nods. - At his apartment, Dan has still not signed the check for fifteen thousand when he throws open his door to JJ, who glares daggers at Theresa. She gets shrill about his bad timing. JJ drawls it is terrific timing and admits he sent Dan a text so he knows everything. She got played and she will never get anything she wanted from the noble medicine man. Never ever! The girl gets shrill and JJ guesses what she was saying, given how predictable she is. She snaps to shut up. He dares her to tell Dan why this is really over. - Abigail, the girl in the pink Chanel jacket, has just asked EJ whether Sami would forgive him if she knew about them. Sami walks to the town gate and joins EJ, who smiles and exclaims SAMANTHA. She muses she heard her name and wants to know the secret. Drums of dread play in the background. EJ suddenly stammers he was simply explaining to Abigail that Samantha knows the truth and understands completely yes she does ... - Jordan is out of breath. Rafe says WOW. She wants some food and suggests they eat out. He teases then she would be seen on his arm in public. She gushes that would be good and giggles given his grin, the whole world will know what they have been doing! - Jen is curious how Liam found out about JJ. Maxine told everyone the good news. He notes Jen is not that thrilled and she replies both the kids are away doing their thing. He notes then they are aloooooone. Jen stares. - Theresa screeches she was set up. JJ points out he has the goods on Theresa and Dan is amused. Theresa calls him a s.o.b. and attacks him with weak slaps to the body like the little girl she really is. - Sami wants to know what exactly she understood completely. EJ smoothly states he was referring to wot happened with Nick and Gabi. Sami thanks Abigail for all she did too. Abigail gasps she did not do much and takes off. Sami wonders why the hurry and suspects it had to do with EJ. He continues to play it cool. - Rafe and Jordan snuggle at their pub table, unaware that they are being watched through the window ... - Lucas gets a call and advises Kate to let good guy Rafe be happy - at least for a little while. She sighs. - Dan pulls flailing Theresa off JJ and is sorry JJ had to deal with her garbage alone. She leers she and JJ used to have fun together. JJ snaps Dan kept him out of prison and also saved her life. It is a big chance for her and she should take it. Life is what you make it! She sarcastically calls him wise and warns she is not done with them yet! She grabs her designer knockoff purse and storms out, slamming the door for dramatic effect. Pause. Dan the man is mighty curious how JJ knew she was even here. It was just a feeling. Dan thinks he should have confided in him long ago, though he deeply appreciates what he has done. It appears they are even. JJ notes not by a long shot but thank God they are both done with the dreadful Theresa Donovan! - EJ informs Samantha that Nick must have gotten Abigail unsettled with some choice comments that made the poor girl wonder how much he suspected she knew. Sami is sympathetic. EJ asks how much she has told Will and Sonny about the latest developments, given there is actual evidence. Sami whispers she was unable to bring herself to tell them about Percy's incriminating pictures, Nick’s demands. She will soon but it will not be easy. She now gets a text from Will and must go, assuming she will get the chance to fill them in on the proof. EJ roguishly quips he will be in his room should she feel like saying goodnight upon her return. Sami whispers his name. EJ grins hopefully. - Abigail is standing alone, obsessing at the town square. - Theresa heads to the courthouse, seeking the judge with information about a case. The guard goes to see what he can do. The girl in black waits. - Will and Sonny are eagerly waiting for Sami to arrive. Lucas is already present and quips if they are waiting for Sami, they should realize she might not show up until next week! Sami enters and laughs she heard that. Sonny excitedly explains they have an announcement. Lucas thinks it is about a new house or an addition to the club. Nope. Will and Sonny show off their rings at the same time and announce they are getting married. Lucas hugs them, elated. Will notices Sami’s strange silence. She gasps they are crazy! Sonny is shocked. Will appears devastated. Lucas does not agree with her negativity. Sami claims to speak from her own experience. They are too young! Will wishes she would take a deep breath. They know life can be complicated. In fact they both know for a fact that they have more complications waiting. It is better to be with the one you love instead of facing complications alone. They will not turn their back on this gift of love. It is a once in a lifetime thing. Will drapes his arm around smiling Sonny and adds he is not going to run away. Lucas is impressed and wishes he has been so smart at that age. Sami concedes Will is right and cries she is happy for them both. The three share a hug. - EJ saunters past Abigail but she is not finished. She angrily reminds him of their affair, the island, the steamy shower. Does he even know who the real EJ is for she surely does not! EJ grimaces and stares darkly into her embittered eyes. He advises the girl to be honest with herself. She scoffs, He points out many people would have been hurt had he told the truth about wot they did. Her family would have been hurt too.She scoffs even more. He points out he does love Samantha, as he stated before. She questions whether he is speaking from the heart and gets choked up. The man at the cabin and in the shower with her was like someone else. She coyly blinks and wonders what he really feels. Silence. She tells him to let her know if ever he figures it out. Exit Abigail. EJ does not stop her. - The judge’s door is now open to Theresa. But she has changed her impulsive mind and taken off. - JJ has updated Dan, who notes the girl misjudged him. JJ intends to tell mama Jen the whole story too cos she deserves to know that absolutely nothing happened between him and Theresa. Dan insists they stick to the story to prevent Theresa from causing trouble. JJ disagrees. Dan points out Theresa’s video could lead to new charges and she could see him confiding in Jen as a provocation. JJ shouts he hates this and he hates her too! Dan gets paged by the hospital, makes the young man promise he will keep his silence, and they exit together. - Jen primly sits with her tea and Liam suggests they go out to celebrate. She sighs she would not be the best company. She has things going on ... with her. He sighs too and realizes it is about Jonas. She touches her hair and admits there is no longer anything between them, but ... Liam gets it. She is not ready to move on .The divorced suitor can sympathize. He suggests they go one step at a time. Dinner as a distraction? Jen agrees to that and they smile in mutual understanding. - Jordan enjoys her pub apple pie and Rafe sips his cup of coffee as they continue to paw each other like a couple of teenagers. Alas he must head home and prepare some testimony for court. And she needs to get back to Arthur the cat. Rafe drawls they should get the cat a treat since he helped them get together. He calls himself a lucky guy and gives her a slow kiss on the lips. Just then diva Kate walks in holding her phone and gets an eyeful. She turns around in her long stylish coat but she has been spotted. Rafe greets her and shows off how well he can stand without a cane. Kate calls it fantastic. Jordan steps away to take a work call. Kate tells Rafe she is happy for him. He credits her for sticking by him and encouraging him until Jordan took over. Kate looks down. - Sonny invites Sami to stay for their toast. But Sami decides she has something she must take care of, assures Will she is happy for him, loves them both, and makes for the DiMera mansion. - Theresa storms into the hospital and drops her files. Dan to the rescue! He gallantly tries to pick up the fallen files but she snatches them away, hissing she has not asked for his help. He solemnly states she will be needing his help to stay out of prison. - Liam and Jen have their coats on and he steals a kiss. The door opens and JJ interruptus! - EJ is working near the fireplace when Samantha enters in her geometric dress. He asks how fares William. Great. He gets back to the contract he has been studying and Sami pours a drink. She hands it to him and he smiles up at her, She now stands behind him and tenderly touches his shoulders. He shuts his eyes. She leans over to kiss his head. He holds her hand, staring dreamily into space. Sami walks in front of him, puts the work folder aside, and takes both his hands. They stand up and make for the bedroom, no words necessary. - Will sees papa Lucas to the door and thanks him for his enthusiasm. Lucas admits he is THRILLED and this is FANTASTIC! He asks to be updated as soon as they share the news with Justin and Adrienne They grin and agree. Lucas is proud and hugs his sons. Once he is gone, Sonny gushes it went well. Will murmurs they have something more to celebrate and kisses him again. - When Jordan returns to Rafe's side, Kate tries to excuse herself. Rafe asks about new hire Cheryl. Kate is upbeat and Jordan smiles she loves working for her company. Kate manages to get out and gets a call from Ortiz, who still has nothing on Jordan. Mo matter. She has an idea of her own! Kate slinks off into the cold night. Inside, Jordan and Rafe enjoy their coffee but eerie music plays. They are still being watched by a lurker at the window ... - Theresa demands to know what Dan wants from her. Nothing. But she needs to lose her hatred and leave JJ and his mother alone. If not, he will make sure she regrets it! Theresa gets it. Angry Dan means business. - Jen asks JJ if he would like to join her and Liam for dinner. He opts to stay in and tells them to enjoy. Once they depart, he sighs his mother simply has to be told the truth about Dan despite what he promised. It is the right thing to do! - Obsessed Abigail lifts a glass of red wine at the club, flashing back to her affair with EJ. She puts the wine down and touches her hair. - Sami and EJ are in the dark bedroom and she removes his blue shirt. They kiss and lie down in the blue bed, making mad passionate love like there is no one else in this whole wide world ... THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives Abigail further exasperates EJ. |
