There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Rafe and Andre face off at DiMera mansion. Andre the devil implies Hope is far from innocent while Rafe wants to play her hero. Rafe clenches his teeth and counters he has no proof. Andre flashes the new pinky ring he is sporting. Tis the ring of THE PHOENIX. Rafe acts nonchalant. Andre continues to taunt his prey for wanting to be the next one in the weeping widow's busy bed. He suspects she shot fatha dead and Rafe is helping her cover up the MURDA! Rafe rages to stay away from Hope and threatens to go after him for harassment. Then he storms out ... At the Brady house, Ciara and sulking Chase are not speaking. Ciara informs her mother she must check on Theo, who is not answering her messages. She and Chase shout at each other about Theo not forgiving him. Hope asks Chase for a moment alone with her daughter and he goes upstairs, glum as ever. Hope urges Ciara to get past what Chase did as he did say he was sorry. This is stressful time for all of them. Ciara starts to suspect the danger of Andre is more than her mother initially let on. Hope sighs he must have masterminded her kidnapping cos he thinks she is connected to Stefano's disappearance. The danger is very real. Ciara insists on going to her friend in need and now agrees to take a guard with her. Hope lets her leave and heads to the closet ... Andre smiles smugly about having the upper hand and sits at Stefano's chess set with a glass of wine. He watches his HOPECAM and wickedly waits ... Hope removes the lid of the box that used to contain Bo's gun with which she shot Stefano dead, only to discover the murder weapon is gone! She summons Rafe. Back at the mansion, Andre is still watching but the sound does not work ... At Horton house, Chad charmingly suggests he and Abigail get married in Paris. The girl in the white wedding dress wonders why. Chad gazes at her with his piercing blue eyes and explains Andre is insane, among other things. He fears he might try to thwart their happily ever after. She sighs about her family missing the marriage. Chad notes he has no family to invite now and besides her brother JJ cannot stand him. He dangles anywhere in the world ... At the hospital Joey is in his mother's hospital room. Kayla is lucid and Dr. Fynn smiles she does not seem to have any worrisome symptoms from hitting her head. Kayla turns down his suggestion of a spinal MRI to be on the safe side. He goes for the discharge papers and she sighs about wanting to speak to Steve. Joey is sure he will call soon and makes no mention of seeing him making out with evil Ava Vitali. Kayla questions her son on how he came to find her. He fibs he searched Ava's things and found a receipt for a basement rental which led him to her. Kayla thinks that sounds rather sophisticated for her teen son. Joey continues to be cagey ... In the Maui hotel room, Steve is fully dressed and desperate to reach Joey over the phone, to find out how his mother is. Ava taunts he could tell her all about their wild night. Steve is disgusted and dismayed ... Back at the Salem club, Abe offers to buy daughter Lani a cup of coffee. They sit and the mayor lets her know how proud he is of his detective daughter. Lani likes having inherited all of Hope's cases but ... Abe's eyes narrow and he probes, sensing something is bothering her. She admits she believes Rafe has been helping Hope and he would never break the rules but ... Abe sighs Hope would ... Back in Maui, Steve insists Ava call her contact to help track down their missing child. She gets on her phone and makes the call from the same room Steve is standing in ... Joey takes his mother home by taxi. He pretends he knows not where his father is at the moment. When Kayla steps out of the living room, Steve finally gets through to Joey's phone number from Hawaii. He starts to apologize for what his son saw but Joey stops him and snaps mom doesn't even want him to come home! Kayla appears and takes the phone from her son in astonishment. As Ava is loudly telling her contact her full name and what she needs, Steve must admit to Kayla he is with her looking for her lost baby boy. Kayla is cross he went off with Ava. Steve is relieved she is alright and assures her he will explain everything once he is back home. Kayla fumes she can call Roman and press charges against Ava for attacking her and locking her away ... Chad tells his dream girl he is sorry about her not having her dream wedding but he feels strongly it would be best if they took an extended honeymoon while the renovations at the mansion were being done ... Steve tells sweetness he loves her and will be home soon. Then he ends the call. Ava gushes her guy is coming over and playfully puts her arms around Steve's neck. He sends her flying and rages never to touch him again. She taunts him for their wild night, pointing out how very virile he was with her, something that she feels could not have been faked ... After the call, Kayla asks her son why he was so angry at Steve. Joey stammers he did not stick around when she was missing. Kayla suspects he is hiding something and urges him to come clean this time ... Back In Hawaii, crazy Ava cackles Steve now has to worry about Kayla finding out they made love, not to mention Joey catching them on the couch. Knock knock! Tis the Indonesian black market baby contact. All he needs is the baby's place and date of birth to check where he ended up. He soon finds on his device that there were two white babies on that day who died after contracting pneumonia. He hands anxious Ava the photograph and she falls apart, confirming this one was her baby boy ... Rafe heads to the house, where Hope is frantic about not finding the gun. They loudly go over everything that happened in detail. Much to Andre's dismay, the sound is not working. His eyes light up when he notices a lad at the top of the staircase. HULLO CHASE ... Abigail quietly asks Chad whether he believes Andre could be right, that Hope could have killed Stefano. He declares he does not think so but sometimes people can be pushed over the edge. Abigail blinks her doe eyes and shares her feeling that Chad fears Andre will be able to convince him that Hope did do it, which would be tough to take ... Ciara meets with Theo at the square. She tells him the problem with Chase had nothing to do with him but Theo begs to differ. He tenderly tells her they BOTH like her that way. They touch hands and she lets him know she wants him in her life. They look into each other's eyes. Chase the stalker watches from the shadows, then races off to the park, sitting on a bench alone, feeling frustrated and furious ... Abe admits to Lani it was not like Stefano to leave without a word to Theo. And now the mansion is about to be foreclosed by the bank. Stefano being gone is not necessarily a bad thing. However, he will be unable to look the other way if Hope and Rafe are involved ... Andre greets angry upset Chase at the park. He smiles son looks like he could use a frieeeeeeeeeend ... Joe lies to his mother he already told her what he knows and suggests she rest. Kayla has left a message for Roman about a pressing matter ... In Maui Steve tells stunned Ava that may or may not have been his baby but now nothing ties them together. He orders her to stay away from Salem for good cos he never wants to see her face again. He walks out and Ava wails like a wounded animal, holding the baby's picture to her crazy broken heart ... THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives Philip is totally set up! Theresa is in for a surprise from Brady. Belle has no luck with Claire. Fynn and Lani have a mutual attraction. |
