Length: 1,570 descriptive words Friday, February 5, 2016 Episode 12,776 Beware of copycats. These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Jen staggers into Horton house with Abigail. The hours of sitting at JJ's graduation from the police academy took its toll. She tells her daughter she will lie down and check on the baby. Someone knocks at the door and Abigail greets Theresa, who did not want to wait with the dress. The blushing bride tries on the stylish white gown of her dreams and admires herself in the mirror. Designer Theresa thinks it needs some taking in but Abigail gushes she does not want to get changed just yet ... Nicole is alone with Brady at his home, as Theresa had to deliver the dress for a fitting. She is unsure of her expectations for the new venture but Brady assures her she is talented enough to do it. She thanks him and calls him Daniel ... Kate is on her phone at the club, complaining to her broker about trying to sell her stocks too low. She needs more money! Deimos stops, having overheard, and offers to buy her stocks at their value. Better yet he can loan her the money she needs. She wonders why she should even trust him. Victor never spoke of his brother before, not to mention that being a Kiriakis is not exactly a selling point. Deimos slyly suggests he stay and buy her lunch so he can prove himself to her. Kate observes him with her beautiful eyes and accepts ... JJ is on his first day at work at the Salem P.D. The uniformed rookie is paired with Shawn. Roman is proud ... Chad comes home only to find Andre waiting for him. Andre removes his rather unusual hat and accuses Hope of doing this to his face and killing fatha. The time has come for DiMera justice! Chad blinks ... Meanwhile Hope is trying to calm her nerves at home, vowing not to let Andre bring her down ... Nicole apologizes for calling Brady Dan. He does not mind but believes it might be too soon for her to start a new business ... At Horton house, Jenny is high as a kite. She smiles up a storm about her daughter's wedding dress and her groom too. Abigail does not seem to notice the change in her. Theresa, however, knows a high Horton when she sees one ... Andre tells Chad the tale of how he uncovered the fact that Hope must have murdered fatha, while Rafe covered up the crime by dumping his body at a demolition site. He found him under a pile of rubble stone cold dead just before the building was blown up. Chad has doubts the old man is really dead. If he is, why would he believe that Hope had done it? Andre produces Bo's gun, which was recently fired. Chad scoffs that means nothing. He refuses to be dragged into Andre's revenge. Andre insists it is also his son's legacy. Chad is still not interested as he believes Andre to be insane anyway ... Rafe gets the guys coffee at the station. Theo enters and looks upset when Roman informs him Abe is busy in a meeting. Lani offers to have lunch with him instead ... As they lunch, Deimos tells Kate his side of the story. T'was Victor who killed his own fiancee and then he framed him for the crime. Kate deduces there is no love lost between them, given Deimos spent 30 years in prison because of his brother. Deimos insists he is not after revenge, he merely wants to make things right. Kate now eyes him and wonders how he came by his wealth, considering he was incarcerated for so many years. Deimos boasts he acquired his wealth before and glosses over how he got it ... Andre shows little brotha the phoenix ring he removed from fatha's cold dead head. Chad is aghast and wants no part of it. Andre now warns him there is a lien on the house. After Samantha stole his money fatha could not make the mortgage payments. Chad boasts he knows and he is buying it back from the bank. But he wants him GONE! Andre leers then he is turning his back on his legacy and slinks out ... Theresa warns Abigail that Jen is acting like someone on meds. She knows from experience such strong painkillers can become addictive. Abigail gets defensive and tells her her mom will stop taking them once the back pain is gone. Theresa leaves her in the white dress and departs after noting how happy she must be as she is marrying the man she loves. Abigail looks ready to cry ... Nicole insists she needs Brady to help in the business to guide her and gushes he is also keeping Daniel alive, Then she catches herself for the slip. Brady admits he is still having Daniel's dreams but would rather not reveal what Fynn said ... Hope is surprised and stressed to find Chad at her front door. He updates her on what insane Andre has been saying. Hope lets out a nervous laugh. She assures him she did not kill Stefano, though she did see him that night in question. Chad peers at her pensively. She also agrees Andre is insane. Once Chad has gone, Hope grabs her phone and calls Rafe to come over right away ... Dashing Deimos seductively tries to convince Kate to let him help her in business. Eduardo enters and frowns at the sight of them sitting together ... Nicole sighs about feeling badly about Daniel. Brady tries to make her feel better and stands close, touching her hand. Theresa arrives home ... Chad comes over to Horton house but Abigail is horrified he has seen her in her wedding dress, BAD LUCK! He tenderly tells her that is only a superstition. Things are going well and Rafe has agreed to be his best man. They are unstoppable! Abigail lets him admire her in the gown after all. He murmurs she is beautiful and holds her in his arms. She gasps she loves him soooo much. He murmurs he loves her more and they romantically kiss ... Kate introduces slick Deimos to sulking Eduardo. Deimos hands her his card and tells her to be in touch with her decision. Then he waltzes out with a smile. Ed grimaces at the thought of him giving her a loan. Kate, however, is one who would rather be independent. She has had enough of men with secrets as well and informs Ed she knows he is hiding something. He notes everyone has something to hide. She lets him know she is intrigued but would need to know who she is dealing with. Otherwise there is no deal. Ed sighs he is sorry she feels that way and walks away. Kate's unhappy eyes follow him ... Theresa greets Brady and he drapes an arm around her, no longer feeling like Dan. Nicole notes they were just going over financials. Theresa has a bad feeling Kate will not be able to get the money after all ... At the station, Roman gives JJ and Shawn a new assignment - to tail a certain Kiriakis who just got out of jail and remains on Interpol's watch list. Meanwhile Deimos - the man on the watch list - is looking at the photos of the Kiriakis clan in his new apartment. He puts them back in an envelope when Kate drops by. The independent one is officially passing on his offer. He acts impressed ... Rafe heads to Hope's house and assures her no one will believe crazy Andre. They need to relax ... Kate breezes into Brady and Theresa's home and hands over her check. She will get the papers once it has cleared. She wonders what they will do with the money. Nicole boasts they are starting their own company with Theresa's clothing designs. Kate sarcastically wishes them luck with that and leaves them to celebrate. Brady sounds like Daniel telling Nicole how great she will be when Theresa steps away for the nonalcoholic drinks ... Hope answers her ringing phone. LA BOHEME plays loudly in her ear. T'was one of Stefano's favorites. Andre is holding the phone with a wicked grin ... Brady feels dizzy after he, Theresa and Nicole toast to DJ Designs. He goes in his room to lie down and starts to dream again ... Chad updates Abigail on Andre's wacky story about Stefano in the demolished building. He believes it might be best if they left town for a while and got married in PARIS ... Dreaming Brady finally sees the face of the brunette sitting on the beach in Malibu under a blue hue. He sits up and gasps who the hell is she??? ...Roman informs JJ and Shawn it is a good thing Stefano supposedly left the country. They are all better off with one less DiMera in the picture ... Rafe bursts into DiMera mansion and finds Andre holding the phone. Andre wickedly smiles he is a sight for sore eyes and shows the wound he sustained in the demolition. Rafe growls he got what he deserved and threatens him to stay away from Hope. Andre smiles like a madman, sensing the dedicated detective is already unraveling ... THE END! |
