There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Deimos is at his new apartment, which seems to have been cleaned and tidied. The landlord appears in the middle of the night, anxious for him to sign that lease. Deimos questions the unusually low cost of the rent. The landlord confesses the last person to live here was serial killer Ben Weston. Deimos starts to laugh and now signs on the dotted line. He has found the perfect place for his purposes ... Suave Phillip has the wine waiting at the club for Belle, who arrives in a glittery white cocktail dress. Her eyes however, are not sparkling. Phil suspects she was just with Shawn. She gets even more glum ... Joey heads home. The house is empty and he flashes back to his father making out with the woman he cared about. He picks up his parents' framed photo and in his fury throws it against the wall. It smashes into tiny bits. He scoffs when Theo comes over to complain about what Chase did and snaps he does not care ... Captive Kayla has an out of body experience. Tis a vision that Steve wants her to take his hand but alas she is unable to reach him. He continues to appear but the apparition vanishes when Ava gets him where she wants him ... Belle sighs what she and Phillip shared in Vegas was not real. He flirts with his words, his eyes, and gives her a very real kiss. Belle admits he feels like a drug ... Steve is stuck in a Maui storm with monster Ava. The strong wind and thunder outside their hotel make it hard for him to hear the airport on his phone. For now there is no way out. Ava emerges in her teddy and taunts she is ready. He taunts good for you. But Ava has lust in her eyes and leers she can wait. Steve suddenly realizes she duped them by claiming she was dying. Ava boasts she placed infected blood under some plastic skin for the test so she got the result she wanted ... Paul and Gabi walk and talk at the town square. He is pumped about their new profession but she is less than thrilled about the erratic schedule which is not what she had in mind for her daughter. She also wishes she had more time for ... Paul sweetly smiles and teases he knows who that certain someone is! A creepy character soap stares as they pass. Then he waits for Paul to stroll by again, this time without Gabi, and stops him ... JJ wants to return a book to absent Rafe at the station. Lani teases him about his graduation tomorrow and the fact that Roman has high hopes for the star student of the police academy. JJ heads home and Gabi appears. He is glad to see her and they get to talking. She wanted to discuss his big day tomorrow, then notices him flinch. He sighs he sprained his shoulder in a self-defense class and she massages him. JJ appreciates it and then invites her to the square for that frozen yogurt. Gabi gushes and they go off ... Steve insults Ava by raging she is really just like her father after all. She insists she is driven only by love. He scoffs at that ... The creepy character at the square asks Paul if he is that gay ball player. Paul politely replies he no longer plays ball. The creep refers to seeing him with Gabi and wonders whether he is still gay. Paul sarcastically states he is, stunned by his insensitivity and stupidity. The creep claims to have worked at the prison when hot Gabi was there. Paul has heard enough and goes on his way ... JJ and Gabi happily walk through the square with frozen yogurt. Her face falls when the creep from her past greets her with a strange look in his eye, a sneer on his face ... Phillip and Belle make mad passionate love in his room. In the afterglow Claire texts her mother from the Big Apple, anxious about her audition. Belle offers to join her but she replies all she needs is Eve. Belle sighs and Phillip gives her a pap talk about her daughter still needing her ... In Maui man-eater Ava has her wild way with Steve, whose only motivation is to save Kayla ... At the square the creep who worked at the prison stops Gabi when he spies her with JJ. He refers to how great she looked even in the prison and eyes her with lust. Gabi sadly states she would rather put the past in the past. JJ thinks he should leave her alone as asked. The creep quips to go to his boyfriend and reaches to grab frightened Gabi. JJ reacts with his cop instincts and gets his hands behind his back in a split second. Then he tells him to scram. The creep leers he happens to be a corrections officer. JJ snaps he happens to be a cop and he has no business disrespecting women that way ... Shirtless Phillip is interrupted with Belle when Deimos calls, ordering him over immediately. He ends the call and complains. Belle wonders how dangerous he thinks Deimos really is ... JJ ends up at the pretty park with Gabi and offers to show her some moves to neutralize men who harass her for being a model. She ends up getting close and they kiss passionately. Then he apologizes and adds they agreed they are not ready for complications. However, both are putting their pasts behind them and the future looks bright. She smiles and agrees as they lock arms and leave together. However, it feels like someone was watching them ... Ava lies in bed like a satisfied hell cat. Shirtless Steve sits up and shoves her the phone to call Joey about Kayla. She does and tells the angry accusing teen she is going to tell him where to find his missing mother ... Belle looks through Phillip's desk drawer, only to come across an envelope containing pictures of a party girl posing on a bed scantily clad. She writes a big question mark on the envelope, places it where it can be seen, and leaves ... Deimos warns Phillip not to assume he is leaving anytime soon. He has just rented this apartment of Ben the serial killer. He cackles at the irony. Phillip wonders what he wants. The serum, as he was promised. Philip repeats Victor will not let him near it. Deimos reminds him they had a deal and announces he is about to test his trust. Either he gets him that serum or he will call that dirty Chicago cop whose party girl daughter died of an O.D. in HIS room ... Joey rushes in and hugs his exhausted mother. Kayla gasps than God ... Back in Hawaii, Steve coldly states he is done with Ava. She laughs she is just getting started - unless he wants her to tell Kayla about their tryst. Steve's eye grows as dark as the raging storm that wreaks havoc around them ... THE END Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Brady sees an unfamiliar face in his dream! Andre wants Chad to believe fatha is dead. Kate is into Deimos. Theresa knows something is off with Jen. |
