Jordan is working at her desk when Madame Milbauer of HR infamy enters with some forms. Jordan is busy. Anne wants answers about what really happened between Ben and Chad. Jordan is tight lipped. Madame Milbauer muses gossip is gossip BUT she had better keep things peaceful between buff baristo brother Ben and Chad the board member DiMera. With that, she flounces out ... Abi has overheard Chad repeat what he told Ben - that she was not as good as Jordan in bed - and snaps he is a bastard! She is disheartened she actually defended him! He is no different than before ... Hope teases Aiden she is back again and notes his nervousness. Aiden glances at the pair of axes he had concealed behind the curtain and tries to cover ... At the apartment, Will is busy trying to add the most important part of his article. Not an easy task. He has to be vague about Paul and his relationship and flashes back to their bedroom scene. Once finished, he prints out the page and decides to check in with Paul, whom he promised the final say, unbeknownst to editor Zoe ... Meanwhile Paul dramatically declares he still loves Sonny and regrets the past. Sonny pauses ... At the hospital, Paige is not comfortable with the idea of stealing JJ's phone to read his texts from his other woman. Theresa bitterly berates her for not facing reality and goes on her wicked way. Paige blinks ... Eve and JJ yell up a storm in the apartment hallway outside her door. She thinks he is stupid. He thinks them being together - that was stupid ... Hope explains to anxious Aiden that she must have left her passport somewhere but where? She starts to search. Aiden offers to cover this room and sends her to the dining room. She goes and he is relieved, as the door he had unlocked to the small room of axes and such was left slightly open ... JJ and Eve eventually agree on one thing - that they will never let Paige knows their secret. JJ now wants to know what she intends to do about Cole the common criminal! Eve reasons JJ is no different and suspects he is jealous. JJ loudly protests. Eve closes the door after coldly claiming he is out of her daughter's life. She will take care of her so goodbye ... Creepy Cole spies pretty Paige at the campus lounge and thanks her for lending him her notes. He grins if there is anything he can do for her ... Paige thinks there might be ... Back at the beach house the plot thickens. Aiden hastily hides his axes. Hope returns with her passport ... Ben calls Chad a liar and leers to Abigail he did not even get the cops to drop the charges against him. Abi asks for a word alone with her ex. Belligerent Ben will be waiting right outside the door ... Chad apologizes to Abigail and mutters he messes up all his relationships. He messed up big time with her and assumed the same had happened with Jordan. That was why he did not think before he acted ... Sonny wonders why Paul is harping on what they already discussed about what they once had. Paul smiles and states he wanted him to know he will never make that mistake again. Sonny the romantic gives him a pep talk about opening his heart and finding the right one. He speaks from experience ... Paul embraces him, repeats he loves him, and adds he is happy for him as well. Sonny now takes his leave, pausing in the hall for a moment. Then he heads for his club ... Chad implores Abigail not to repeat his cruel words to Jordan. He spoke then in anger to Ben after ... Abigail knows - after he saw her kissing Rafe ... Paul places a phone call to his Japanese mother and leaves an urgent message for her to call him. Knock knock! Tis Will with the article ... Will hands Paul the article for his review. Paul sighs this is it ... Paige pauses and gets shy about telling Cole how someone suggested she actually steal JJ's phone to read his texts. Cole is intrigued ... Paul seems to be prolonging the moment. Will reminds him his editor is growing impatient. Paul promises to read it ... Knock knock! Tis devoted Derek the bellboy bringing green tea. He gives Will a dirty look and leaves as Paul has asked. Paul pleasantly offers Will a cup of green tea. Will accepts. Paul now grins they should go ahead and print the truth - the fact that they slept together. Will freezes in fear. Paul chuckles he was joking. Will reminds him the clock is ticking. Paul sits down on his bed and starts reading. Will excuses himself to the washroom ... Much to Aiden's chagrin, Hope is not leaving anytime soon. She called for a later cab. She is looking forward to some alone time and hugs him. She will miss him in Tahiti! Aiden takes another ominous look at the axes in the corner ... Before Cole can commit to Paige's plan, Eve appears. Paige is puzzled and embarrassed. When Cole slinks away, she almost screams at her mother, who questions the wisdom of getting involved with another JJ ... At the square JJ has just left an apologetic message on his phone. Theresa the terrible proceeds to taunt him about his latest girlfriend. Does he even remember her name! JJ assumes she is angry about Paige. Theresa hisses he used to be fun for her and then turned on her after she ODed, blaming her for it, hiding behind his mommy's apron, hooking up with boring Paige, who has finally seen the light! JJ gets rude right back. Get a life! Theresa tells him to own his creepy player personality and storms off ...Hope sits on the sofa with Aiden and suggests he has been hiding his feelings ... Aiden gulps. Hope hastily adds he was worried about his child and that was what made him come out here to a place he would rather not be. Aiden does not deny it. The driver now comes to the door bearing news. The bridge is out so they are stuck here until the morning ... Derek the sneak saunters into the club and sits down. He makes eye contact and conversation with Sonny, who hands him a menu and confirms he is the owner of the establishment. Derek grins and says that is cool. He asks about the green tea ... Chad vows to keep fighting the D.A. so that Ben is not charged. Abigail appreciates it and agrees not to repeat his words to Jordan. However , that is all she is willing to do. Ben comes back inside and orders Chad to leave ... Jordan is still in her office when Chad gingerly arrives with flowers. She accepts the beautiful bouquet and thanks him. Chad laments he was unable to get the D.A. to drop the case but he promises to make it happen. He already told Ben as much. Jordan appreciates it. Chad will be in touch. Jordan dreamily arranges the flowers on her desk ... It bothers Ben that Abigail forgave Chad the cad. Abi believes he did not mean the words he spoke and suggests brother Ben let Jordan make her own decisions ... Paige gets herself all worked up about Eve's interference already costing her JJ. Eve points out he and his other woman are to blame for that. Paige calls the girl who knew she loved JJ colorful names, then accuses Eve of ruining everything by dragging her to California. Her thinking she would never come back was what really broke them up ... Derek now knows Sonny's name and feels familiar enough to ask how his visit with Paul went today. Sonny soap stares, then states they will not ever discuss Paul. Derek grins he gets it ... Creepy undercover Cole is following JJ and he has a plan ...Paul's worried mother calls about his urgent message. Paul murmurs it is not a good time. Will emerges and overhears, unseen by Paul. Mrs. Norita is still worried about her son's mysterious message. With some encouragement, Paul's eyes fill with tears and he spits out the truth. "Mother I'm gay" ... Hope is sorry but happy about being Aiden's house guest. She needs to call Shawn D in Tahiti. He suggests she step outside for the best reception. He now observes Hope through the window, her back to him, and takes out the axes ... Sonny turns to get Derek his green tea. Derek picks up Sonny's copy of Sonix, spies Will's face on the cover and quietly cackles he must be having a good time right about now. Sonny turns back, demanding to know WHAT he just said, hie eyes dark ... THE END Ahead on Days: A secret, an attack, a scheme, and an attraction ... |
