Aiden is anxious at the beach house where his wife met her tragic end in Puget Sound. How he is haunted by the memory of her crying out Nooooooo and then a gunshot! Back to reality. Hope, Ciara, and Chase follow him in for their few hour visit. The kids soon scamper outside to whale watch. Hope cannot help but admire the spectacular view. Aiden cannot help but make comments about how he loathes the place. However, he stops Hope when she suggests she and Ciara should give him and Chase their privacy. Aiden just wants his son to say goodbye to the old life. When Chase and Ciara return, Aiden asks Chase to sit and tell him his favorite memories of the place .... At the club, Sonny stares down at the Sonix cover, which promises a huge story from Will Horton in the next issue. Paul interrupts his thoughts when he calls. Sonny pleasantly asks about his progress. Paul sighs he spoke with his mother and grandfather, who now know his days as a sports star are gone. Sonny is sympathetic. Paul adds his grandfather got excited about his only home run all over again. Sonny smiles he wants to give him the baseball from that game. Paul knows it would mean much to him. Sonny is happy to oblige. He will swing by the apartment and then come by to give it to him. Paul thanks him and ends that call to answer another one - from Will! Ben is bothered at his apartment as he leaves another unanswered message for Clyde. Jordan comes by, not to converse about Clyde but to update him on the Chad situation. Ben is disgusted to discover that Chad purposely provoked him cos she kissed Rafe, and is disappointed to be told she would still take Chad the cad over good guy Rafe. Jordan just wanted him to know that Chad was dropping the charges so no lawyer necessary. Ben is incensed she intends to give Chad another chance. Jordan suggests he just work on managing his terrible temper ... John eyes Chad DiMera with distrust when he enters his office. Chad grins he wants the charges against Ben to go away. John responds to his casualness with a stare. No can do. Chad explains he was to blame for provoking Ben but will not reveal what he said to him. Chad urges him to tell the D.A. John has a word with the D.A.- unseen, unheard - and informs Chad the D.A, finds it highly suspect that a DiMera wants to have a case dismissed. The whole thing is now officially going to trial! Paige tells a pal over her phone at the town square that she talked JJ into trying again. Eve appears and voices her protest. Paige claims not to want to think about the girl JJ cheated with anymore. Matter of fact, she would rather not know who she was! Eve snaps she is supposed to be smart ... JJ has summoned sister Abi to the park for some much needed advice. He updates her on his predicament with Paige. When he sighs about sleeping with another, Theresa appears and taunts him for his cheating ways. Abigail quips the beech was eavesdropping. Theresa quips Abi knows all about cheating especially with married men! Ring ring. Abigail steps away for the call. Theresa tells JJ to leave Paige alone and go to his tramp ...Paige pouts and storms off, refusing to heed her mother's warnings about JJ ... Aiden tells Hope the story of how he hated this house, the fact that Meredith never let him forget she and her money had bought it ... Will wanted to double check with Paul that he did not want to include his role in his coming out. He sighs he was unethical to sleep with him ... All of a sudden Sonny come in so Will ends the call with Paul, promising to call back. Sonny gushes he is excited about his new article, which is already being promoted by Sonix. Will quietly questions whether it was worth it. Sonny gives him a pep talk about his talent in his profession ... Ominous music plays in Puget Sound as Aiden admits how he and his wife screamed and fought behind closed doors at the beach house. He makes a snide remark about inheriting all her riches, including this very house ironically ... Eve sits at the square and sends JJ a text that they need to talk. Theresa has seen her texting and teases who is the guy now? Eve claims she was communicating about her royalties from Jen. Theresa the terrible is in the mood to have some fun and slyly suggests they team up to try and find JJ's tramp. Eve is not interested but she becomes overly flustered when Theresa refers to JJ's sizzling appeal. Eve takes off. Theresa wonders what she said wrong ... Paige and JJ cross paths on campus and she insists they start their conversation. JJ hangs his head and tries to get out of it. Paige announces they must share their feelings and smiles she loves him. JJ's reply is to inform her he is still seeing the other woman, the one he cheated with. He is sorry. Paige's heart is breaking and they go their separate ways ... Chad fumes over the D.A.'s anti-DiMera stance and departs for Ben's place ... After the pep talk, Sonny gives Will a kiss and gathers what he came for- namely the baseball. Once he has it in his hand, he flashes back to the time Paul gave it to him and gets nostalgic. Back to reality. Sonny wants Will to know how happy he is that they are back to normal. Will agrees but gets a grim look on his face. He is feeling as guilty as sin ... When Ciara and Chase come inside, Aiden sits his son down to discuss his favorite memories. Chase wishes he had longer ... The taxi arrives to take Hope, Ciara, and Chase on to their next destinations, as this was a detour. They scamper out and he kisses Hope, who agrees it is best he move on from this place of unhappy memories. He kisses her again. Hope walks out. Aiden grimaces and slams the door, suddenly unlocking a room in which he has stored certain items out of sight. He takes out a pair of axes. Dangerous music is heard ... Derek the devoted bellboy grins about Paul’s green tea and then solemnly slinks away when Sonny arrives. Paul thanks Sonny when he throws him the ball, smiling. Sonny asks how he fares. Paul is finished with physical therapy and plans to leave Salem in a week. He now confesses the article of his coming out made him realize he wished he could turn back time and choose Sonny over his career. Sonny stops smiling. Paul points out he knows he is taken but ... Sonny tells him he has his whole life ahead of him. Paul smiles someone else told him the same thing. Sonny gathers this was the new guy he was with the other night. He is happy for him. Paul feels it was not meant to be ... At work, Jordan explains to Abi why Chad acted out, it was after he believed she had gotten back with Rafe. Abigail knows Chad only too well and warns her he might do it again to Ben ... Ben scoffs at Chad when he comes over bearing bad news. He suspects this was all part of his set up, especially when he learns the charges against him have not been dropped. They bicker and Chad assures him he does not want this to go to trial either, for then he would have to admit what he said - that Jordan was better in bed than Abi. Abigail has just arrived at the open door and overheard. She glares daggers at Chad and calls him a bast*rd ... John pays Will a visit, to warn him that he and Sonny might be called as witnesses in the Ben/Chad fight. Will sighs they are friends with both but thanks John for the intel. He grins he is glad he and Marlena are managing to work things out. John grins and says the same of Will and Sonny. He assumes all is well and gives Will a knowing look. Will stammers things are fine, he is simply finding himself busy with thoughts of work ... Paige approaches Theresa the terrible at the hospital, wanting her help in finding the identity of JJ's tramp. Theresa tells her to check the texts on JJ's phone, her name will be there ... Hope bangs on the beach house door. Aiden hastily hides the axes behind the curtains and lets her in. She assumes he was not expecting her again. She assumed right ... Sonny asks Paul what the problem is, why he cannot be with his new guy again. Paul takes a bold step forward and looks him in the eye. Because he is not him ... JJ confronts Eve at her apartment door, raging about what he felt he had to tell Paige. Eve warns him not to come near. But he does so they are standing close when he snaps he said he was seeing her!
