There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... No one seems to be sleeping in Salem ...At the house of Kiriakis Maggie greets Victor, who growls he cannot sleep. He is furious to find out Caroline has left the house. He believes it was in her best interest to remain under their watchful eye ... At DiMera mansion new master Chad is setting his chess set. Rafe arrives to update him on Andre being arrested for murdering Stefano. The body was found ... Roman heads to Hope's house with news. She admits she is already aware of Andre's arrest. Roman sighs he knows her inconvenient truth, he has known all along but he asks to hear it from her own lips. He adds he loved Bo and loves her as well. He is on her side but needs the whole story of what transpired the night she went to see Stefano. Now ... Ava stops fighting in her hospital room. Joe has done the deed. AVA IS NOT MOVING! Steve comes in and sees she is DEAD, her lifeless eyes staring ahead. Joe is a wreck. Steve reassuringly touches his face. Then he carefully closes the door and orders him to head home and stay there but say nothing to anyone, not even Kayla. Confused Joe starts to cry. He takes off as told, though the bandage on his cut hand seems to have fallen to the floor ... Victor rages Caroline is not safe out there since dangerous demented brother Deimos is out for revenge. Maggie assures him they can still look out for her. The Greek grimaces. The redhead flirts to come to bed. He growls he is too wound up and has work to do. She coos not to take looooong and flounces upstairs after they kiss and exchange I love yous ... At the park, Caroline ends a call and accidentally drops her phone. The smile fades from her face when Deimos appears from the shadows and picks up her phone. Caroline acts hostile and snaps she knows who he is. Deimos smiles. He also knows who she is. She warns him to stay away and gets her phone back but their hands touch. Caroline gasps as a sinister scene flashes before her eyes. She sees Deimos shaking hands and conspiring with one sinister Seth Malcolm, the dastardly doctor who held Bo hostage and tortured him until he came home to die ... Rafe informs Chad they found Stefano's body exactly where Andre said he had found it. In addition, the bullets found in Stefano's body had been fired from Bo's gun, which was found in Andre's luggage. It was covered with Andre's fingerprints .Chad stands up and storms out to confront his brother ... Roman urges Hope to come clean for he has kept his suspicions to himself. She blurts out I DID IT I KILLED STEFANO! The commissioner seeks the details. She sighs it was hazy and her mind has blocked out most of that final moment. She sobs she knows she shot him, though, that is for sure. Roman blames himself for not being there for her after Bo died. Hope, however, blames herself. She knew Stefano was responsible for Bo's death and took it upon herself to squeeze a confession out of him. He pushed her too far and insulted her Bo! It almost was as though he wanted her to snap. He got his wish because she shot him dead in the end. Roman tenderly tells her he is on her side. He only wishes she had come to him. She laments it was bad enough she dragged Rafe into the drama ... At the hospital the police guard and a nervous nurse enter Ava's room. The monitors are all turned off. Steve solemnly states he killed Ava, he wanted her dead so he smothered her to death right here ... Caroline wakes up in a strange bed. Deimos is at her side and pleasantly points out she passed out. He brought her to his room nearby to recover. She is suspicious he did not take her to a hospital. He laughs she only fainted and he assumed she would prefer this. It is comfortable. Caroline demands to know how he knew evil Dr. Seth Malcolm who practically murdered Bo ... Chad awaits in a room at the station. Detective Rafe brings Andre and gives them a moment but he will be watching through the window. Andre announces to brotha that he is innocent of all charges. It was Hope who shot fatha! He was set up and urges Chad to help him as they are blood. He seeks mercy. Chad glares daggers. He rages he despises and is disgusted by him and intends to turn his back on him for killing their father, who loved the family ... Roman assures Hope he has no problem with sending Andre the criminal to prison for life even if he did not commit this particular crime. His brother Bo was a hero and did what it took to take care of the family. Now he will step up! Hope cries and hugs him. Roman now gets a text from Steve, the next person who needs saving. He summons him to the hospital. Hope has one last question for her brother-in-law. Is she a horrible person? Roman hugs her. However, he does admit that absolution is not his specialty ... Kayla is at home in her robe. Here comes Joe! She suspects he has been drinking. All of a sudden a nurse calls and summons her to the hospital. It is about Steve. There is trouble ... Deimos lies he does not know any Dr. Seth Malcolm. Caroline starts to say she saw them, then stops. Deimos is intrigued. He heard about her visions and wants to hear more, claiming to be a believer. Caroline refuses and demands he let her go. She may leave if she is strong enough. The matriarch shakily stands up and steps out of his room. Deimos looks serious ... D.A. Justin finds Victor working at home late at night. Victor sighs Phillip is no longer in the picture and there is much to do. Justin smilingly suggests he bring Sonny home from the continent and make him his right hand. He has already proven himself in Paris. Victor agrees that is a good idea. Justin now informs him Stefano is dead. Victor heard. Justin adds it appears Andre did the deed ... Chad is screaming his handsome head off at Andre the accused. Andre argues at least he was there for fatha unlike him! Chad snaps Stefano loved the family but Andre has no heart! Rafe is watching thru the window. Chad accuses Andre of being pure evil. Andre scoffs at the irony of Chad being so indignant since he had turned his back on fatha. But if he turns him back on HIM, he will regret it foreva! Chad walks out regardless ... Kayla arrives at the hospital with red-faced Joe. Steve tells him to stay silent. Roman wants answers. Steve confesses AVA IS DEAD I KILLED HER! ... Victor suggests Stefano the once formidable adversary was probably to blame for Bo so good riddance. Justin thinks no one will shed tears for the phoenix and goes on his way. Caroline staggers in and updates Victor on her vision of Deimos making a deal with the dastardly doctor who hurt Bo so badly he came home and died ... Roman gets Steve alone in a room and asks what really happened. Steve claims he killed the wicked woman for setting up Kayla. Roman harbors doubts. Ava Vitali is now confirmed DEAD and wheeled away under a sheet. Joey is a wreck. Steve comes out and tells Kayla to take Joe home and call Belle because he is about to be arrested. Joe exclaims NO YOU CANNOT DO THIS! Steve takes his son aside and solemnly says to listen and go home. Kayla watches with worry in her eyes. Steve repeats to Roman he did it so arrest him ... Abigail arrives at DiMera mansion with the baby. Chad is sitting alone by the fireplace. She asks how he fares. Chad feels torn. He rejected Stefano and the life he chose but there was always the hope that his father would reform. Now he will never even know his grandson. Abigail smiles he would love him. She strongly believes he has every right to mourn the father of many faults who loved him. Chad breaks down with the woman he loves ... Victor calls Hope at the house. He notes he has news about Malcolm and Deimos ... they should discuss in the morning. Hope agrees. She now gets another phone call. A voice sounding suspiciously like Deimos leers YOU KILLED THE WRONG MAN. Click! Hope is horrified ... Roman can only do his job as commissioner. He orders Steve handcuffed and they head for the station. Steve shouts it was worth it to get that crazy bitch outta their lives for good ... Chad and Abigail hold each other close on the couch. The new master of DiMera mansion decides he is done feeling down. Father would want him to live his life to the fullest. He suggests they start their new life by getting married in Salem right away. Abigail gushes that sounds purrfect and they kiss in bliss ... Alone in his room, Deimos darkly reads his old messages from Malcolm implicating him in their meetings ... Hope rendezvous with Rafe at the park. She gasps Roman knows everything and intends to let Andre take the fall. Rafe thinks that is great and is about to hug her in relief. Hope looks up at him with her haunted eyes and now drops a new bombshell. After all this, it is possible she might have killed the wrong man! Rafe freezes. THE END! |
