There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Ava brazenly accuses Kayla of jabbing her with the morphine needle. Roman and Steve scoff. Ava insists so Kayla snaps and starts to attack. Steve and Roman usher her out of the room. Roman places a police guard outside the door and then returns to Ava. He almost laughs at her absurd story that Kayla injected her with morphine, only to call 911. He notes she did not leave Salem as agreed and gave JJ the slip. She lies she wanted a last conversation with Steve. Still Roman scoffs. She threatens to go over his head for justice ... Belle is cool as a cucumber with Victor at his nightclub - the nightclub she now wants to buy. He questions whether it is for Phillip. She states she and Phillip are keeping their space but is sorry for the rift between father and son. Victor refuses to ever forgive Phillip for his betrayal. Belle wants to get back to business. He questions whether she has the cash and looks bemused when she drawls she does. He suspects it is that money Sami stole from Stefano. Belle wonders whether that would make a difference. Victor loves the irony and so a deal is born ... Phillip heads over to dear Uncle Deimos' place and proceeds to play him. He hands him the formula for the serum. Deimos suspects he had it all along and his nephew does not deny it. Phillip pretends to be furious at Victor for turning on him when he was the victim of blackmail. He tells Deimos they can team up together to bring down the old man. Deimos will not commit to any alliance yet. Phil drawls to think about it and departs. Deimos calls his man to follow Phillip and let him know what he is really up to ... Ciara is sitting in an armchair at the house. She wakes up crying NO after another night terror about Chase. Sadly she cannot wake up from the reality. Hope assumes she was anxious about Andre. Negative. Then Stefano. She suggests they have cocoa and then offers to get cookies from the kitchen. Ciara is too ashamed to share her secret so she plays along. She ignores a concerned text from Theo but when Claire texts her inviting her to a crazy party she texts back she is IN. She then convinces her mom to let her attend the party, promising no booze ... Chase wakes up in the dark basement. Andre DiMera has not returned. He paces and then dares to leave ... Joey is at the rave. He is totally drunk with Jade. She wonders who broke his heart. He slurs an older woman who used him to cause problems for his parents ... Belle excitedly calls Claire to meet her right away. She gushes she has great news. When Claire arrives, Belle announces she bought the nightclub so when she is ready she will have somewhere to sing. Claire is cross she seems to have little faith in her ability to get anywhere on her own. Belle is baffled. Belligerent Claire accuses her of trying to convince herself she is a good mother because she ruined their family. Then she bolts. Belle is in tears. Her daughter does not believe she loves her ... Hope tells Cinderella Ciara to be back by midnight ... Steve takes Kayla home and offers to move out if it is what she wants. Kayla feels with Ava on the loose, he should stay. She quietly lets him know she understands why he did what he did. He reaches out with a hand and she recoils. It will take time for her to overcome. Until then, he is doomed to sleep on the sofa. She has spent many nights on it waiting up for Joey ... Claire picks up Ciara for the party and lies it is the birthday party of someone she knows. Hope has no reason to doubt her. Once outside, Ciara announces her intent to get drunk. Party girl Claire laughs ... Theo shows up at the house to speak with Ciara, who is not answering his texts. Hope tells him she went to a party. She questions Theo on his concern. He fibs he is sure Ciara is fine and takes his leave ... Claire takes Ciara into the rave that is in full swing. Dancing Joey staggers and drops his drink. He reaches for it and cuts his hand with broken glass. Jade helps him with the injured hand and he suddenly imagines she has Ava Vitali's face. He bolts from the bash like a bat outta hell ... Paul is sitting alone at the nightclub having a drink. Lani is happy to see the baseball star and asks for his autograph for her little brother, who happens to be his biggest fan. He knows all his stats. Paul smiles and knows she must be referring to Theo. He asks how he is doing. Lani laments there is a girl as usually happens at that age. Paul gets a twinkle in his eye ... Theo sees some fellow high schoolers at the square and asks about the classmate whose party Ciara is supposedly attending. They laugh there is only a rave. Theo finds out where and is on his way. Chase emerges from the shadows and creeps after him ... Steve sits on the sofa and hangs his head. Joey spies him from the window and pops a mint, Then he opens the door. He states he is surprised to see him as he assumed he had been kicked out. Steve sighs there has been a development and updates him on Ava's suicidal drama on their doorstep in an attempt to set up Kayla. Joey rages how he HATES her. Steve tries to talk him down but Joey is feeling more belligerent by the minute. His system is soaked with booze ... Drunken Ciara dances with Claire at the rave. Theo arrives and she slurs she wants to dance. Theo does not drink or dance so she calls him borrrrrring ad suggests he leave. Chase ominously observes from the outside ... Phillip comes upon crying Belle at the square and offers a shoulder to lean on. She laments her daughter does not like her, nor does she get how she loves her. Phillip tenderly tells her to take into consideration her daughter is a teenager. Belle gasps but she loved mama Marlena. Phillip takes her hand and tells her he will walk her home. He calls her special and they passionately kiss. Belle pulls away, pointing out she must put Claire first. He counters Claire has nothing to do with them. Besides, Belle is not back together with Shawn. He urges her to be honest with herself and admit she wants him as deeply as he desires her. Belle melts ... Lani is still speaking to Paul. He hopes no one is giving the autistic lad a tough time. Lani notes if anyone dared she would be all over them ... Claire coyly wonders whether Chase will come to the rave. Ciara rages she hates him. Chase overhears and his face falls. All of a sudden a fight breaks out. A boy in a hat is called a f*g and accused of staring by a boozed up boy. Theo intervenes. Claire and Ciara split ... Belle is wearing a satin slip on Phillip's bed. The shirtless Kiriakis convinces her they belong together, always have, and they start to make out ... Back at the house, Ciara sees a note from Hope, who has headed out for food. Claire makes herself at home and ponders what has her so peeved about Chase. Ciara scoffs. Chase is lurking outside ... Paul is walking through the square when he sees the teen boy with the hat who was attacked. He looks upset and Paul wonders why. He would like to help ... Joey sneaks into the hospital and pulls the fire alarm. The police guard at Ava's door steps away and calls his superior for orders. Joey slips in and slurs at Ava that he hates her. She watches him with worry. He growls there is only one way to be rid of her and grabs her pillow from under her head. Ava feebly tries to fight him off but he roughly shoves the pillow on her face in his inebriated rage ...! THE END Ahead on Days of Our Lives: MURDER. |
