There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At the station Rafe has received a call about the body being found at the site where Andre admitted to seeing it. Rafe sends Shawn to do his forensics thing and confirm it is Stefano ... At home, Hope has not found Chase and fears he has run off. Ciara does not seem to mind ...Andre escorts anxious Chase down to a secret basement he calls a hiding place. He continues to claim he is more of a friend than Hope and Ciara were and gives him his next order ... Joey berates his father for bedding Ava. Steve suspects his rage is also the result of how Ava did not choose him. Joey cries he feels horrible for his mother and horrible in general. He takes off to the park, gasping he wishes he were dead. Steve takes after him, also in tears ... Kayla assures Roman the only thing she wants is Ava gone. No matter how. He suggests an ocean apart might do the trick. Kayla is counting on it. Just a few more hours. They head back to the station together, where they will await the update ... JJ the rookie is all business when he informs Ava she has a half hour to pack. She flirts about him helping her in the shower. JJ responds with sarcasm and stands outside the door. Ava silently and ever so sneakily opens the drawer where she has taped the needle she needs. Then she shoves something heavy in her bag and pretends to have packed for the overseas flight ... In California, Theresa demands to know why Brady is wet. Brady demands to know what Theresa is doing there. During the course of their conversation, Summer hears that Brady dreamt of her and the women in the room have concerns about his state of mind. She runs out. Brady follows her all the way to the beach. Theresa confronts Nicole for going after Brady. Nicole insists she wants what is best for he who has Dan's heart. Theresa, however, insists he belongs home with Tate, taking care of himself. She swears she will make it happen and storms off ... The text message from Steve wanting her dead has Ava in a snit and she bangs around. JJ enters and she smiles she clumsily knocked the lamp. She bats her lashes and would like JJ to help her with the heavy luggage. JJ lets her know he is not falling for any of her funny business. She laughs her luggage could be loaded with something heavy and dangerous ... At the station, Rafe updates Roman on the body that must be Stefano's. He is cocky about catching Andre. Roman's reservations are reflected in his clever eyes ... Hope complains about Andre disappearing, and the Chase situation making it worse. Ciara sighs her mom has no idea. Rafe now calls Hope, exclaiming he has big news to share in person. He comes over with the news that they found Stefano and the body shows he was shot. It is just as sinister Andre stated so they are almost in the clear. Hope holds back her relief, nervous that Chase is nowhere to be found. Rafe promises to have him tracked down too ... Steve chases after Joey. They end up at the square and the father urges the son to hate HIM and not himself. Joey bawls and pushes him, then breaking down in his arms. Steve is so sorry ... It is time for Ava to go. When JJ has his back turned, she whacks him on the head with her heavy bag and he falls to the ground. She kicks him in the side and takes off. JJ tries to follow, clutching his sore side. Alas Vitali has given him the slip ... Hope gets an unexpected call from Chase. Under Andre's watchful eye he announces he is not coming back. He is leaving to live with his aunt in Chicago. Hope tries unsuccessfully to talk him out of it. Chase hangs up on her ... Brady rejoins Summer at the beach. He offers to buy her a drink as they discuss. Dario serves her usual and Brady asks for soda water. He now comes clean about his dream but Summer wonders why he did not just ask Daniel about her. Brady sadly states he died in a car crash and he received his best friend's heart. He feels Daniel led him here to her but why? Summer sadly places a hand on his heart. She explains she had not seen Daniel for a long time but they kept in touch. Brady asks about the nature of their relationship. She smiles Dan suspected she was his sister ... Steve sits on a park bench with his now subdued son. He promises him he will spend the rest of his life making up for the pain he caused his family by believing in Ava ... JJ bears bad news for Roman. Ava gave him the slip. Roman is exasperated and issues the rookie his next assignment. Now he calls for backup. There is no room for error ... Andre leaves Chase alone in the dimly lit basement. He assures him he will return after picking up a few things from his hotel room. Chase sits down alone, haunted by his actions against the girl he cared for ... Ciara is sitting on her bed, haunted by what happened to her. She hears Hope and pretends to be asleep. Hope covers her and leaves. Ciara opens her eyes. There is no rest for her anymore ... Hope returns to Rafe, who tells her Shawn gave him the positive ID they were waiting for. Andre's arrest for killing Stefano has been ordered ... Andre is stopped at the square. Shawn handcuffs him as JJ stands by ... Rafe updates Hope that they now have Andre. He will be arraigned first thing in the morning. The nightmare is finally over. Hope, however, cannot shake the feeling that something is not right ... Steve emotionally tells his son he will love him and his mom forever. Joey would like to be alone. He suggests his father give his mother some space. She should be home by now ... Kayla arrives home to an open front door. She enters and is shocked to see Ava sprawled on her floor. Her eyes are shut and she is not moving. Kayla crouches down and checks for a pulse ... THE END!
