There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At the park Ava taunts Kayla. She boasts about making love to Steve so Kayla slaps her across her smug face, then starts to call Roman. Ava smiles and continues to claim it was consensual, how Steve desired her in that hot place. Kayla leaves Roman an urgent message to call her back, then blasts Ava, raging she wants to wring her neck. Besides, she does not believe her story since Steve already told her the truth - that she blackmailed him, in return for kidnapped Kayla's location ... Steve is tossing back hard drinks at the nightclub. He remembers Ava ruining his relationship with Kayla and keeps on drinking. Stunning Hope slides into the seat beside him at the bar and asks him to tell her his tale of woe. Steve does. Hope does not judge him, musing maybe she has done worse ... At the beach, Brady runs into the sea to save Summer. Nicole arrives and also goes to the water, when she sees Brady emerge heroically carrying Summer to safety. He is bewildered by Nicole's presence and springs into action befitting a man of medicine. He takes Summer inside, tenderly places her on the sofa, and gets towels around her. They are in his hotel room. Summer wakes up and anxiously lies she lost her footing and had been drinking. She is dead set against any medical professionals being alerted. Brady senses something. She insists she was not suicidal and heads for the door. At that moment Brady begins to hyperventilate ... Ava taunts Kayla about Steve making love to her madly with his eyes open. Kayla has already left Roman a message to come before she kills the b*tch. Ava smiles slyly. It is all part of her sinister set up. As Roman and JJ arrive on scene, she purposely provokes Kayla, who slugs her and lunges. The cops break it up. Ava could not be any happier ... Back at the beach hotel Nicole starts to call 911. Brady gasps to call only the local cardiologist referred by Fynn. He simply suffered a dizzy spell. Summer knows who Australian Dr. Fynn is and wonders whether Brady came here to see her. He informs her that Dan was his friend as Nicole informs the doctor on the phone that heart transplant patient Brady now claims to feel fine. Summer states Dr. Dan was her friend but then things happened and he was gone from California. She asks how Daniel is doing in Salem. Brady and Nicole both soap stare. She repeats the question ... Andre arrives at his suite. Chase snaps where was he for so long! Andre sighs this police state that is Salem enabled the Salem P.D. to hold him for questioning. Chase wonders why. He quips because he happens to be a DiMera. Chase confides that he did the wrong thing by taking his advice. Things went too far with Ciara. He did not stop as she asked and now regrets his actions. Andre suggests he forgive himself and offers to protect him. Like everything Andre offers it comes at a price but Chase does not know that just yet ... Steve wishes he had stopped Ava at the start. Now he fears he could lose his family. He feels like a lowlife for sleeping with the she devil. Hope insists evil Ava is the only lowlife in the story. She believes the best thing now is for Steve to somehow tell his son before he finds out the hard way ... Theo escorts Ciara back to Jen's house. He stops her from mixing Margaritas by grabbing the bottle from her hands. It falls to the floor as Hope enters ... Chase laments he is a monster like his father. Andre frowns Ciara's mother is more of a monster. He warns Chase the authorities will be coming after him as well and alludes to the fact that they should disappear from the Salem radar together ... Steve heads home. Joey is listening to music lying on the couch. He scoffs when Steve asks him for a word. He sighs he wants to be the one to tell him and updates him on Ava blackmailing him back in the tropics. She demanded he sleep with her in return for Kayla's location and he simply had to save her ... Theo lies Ciara did not want to let him drink and he is to blame. Ciara sighs it was her and snaps it is no big deal. Hope sends Theo on his way, wanting a word with her defiant daughter. Once they are alone, she lets her know that drinking and drugs are not the way to deal with hurt in life. She wishes she could take away her pain of losing Bo and then the stress of the recent fire at their house. She holds her daughter close ... Ava assumes she has the upper hand but she is dead wrong! Roman and JJ act like they did not see Kayla attacking her. Kayla counters she will have her arrested for kidnapping and confinement unless ... Hope senses there is someone giving Ciara stress. Since it is not Theo, it must be Chase. Ciara implores her to send him to his aunt in Chicago. Hope explains she does not want him. Ciara warns he will never be a brother to her. Hope tells her that is harsh. She has no clue ... Ava claims the sexvideo will go viral, giving Kayla a motive. Roman counterclaims it supports Kayla's story. Kayla gives her a triumphant look. She will not file any charges if she gets a one way ticket out of Salem. Roman has his doubts about making any deal with the devil but Ava accepts. Roman orders JJ to escort her to her room and then make sure she gets on a that plane out of Salem ... As unstable Chase continues to be influenced by Andre, Ciara watches her mother head upstairs, where she assumes she will find Chase. Ciara says nothing and stares at the sofa, remembering how she cried, he would not stop. Her dark eyes are haunted in this bad dream that has become her living reality, her living hell. But still she says nothing ... As Joey fumes, Steve explains he does not expect forgiveness. However, he hopes his son will understand one day ... Back in California, Summer is still waiting to hear how Dan is these days. Knock knock! Brady opens the door of his hotel room to Theresa, who demands to know what the hell Nicole is doing in L.A. with him! Pause. THE END Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Stefano's "murderer" is under arrest! Andre hides Chase ... Summer explains her unexpected Daniel connection. |
