There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Hunky Brady is at the beach in California. He sits and stares at his notes as waves cascade and seagulls cry in the background. He believes Dan brought him here but wonders why ... Back in Salem, Theresa overhears Nicole arranging her ride to the airport in a few minutes. She suspiciously asks where she is headed. Nicole lies she is leaving for Chicago to see about some fabrics. Theresa tells her she is coming. In fact she insists ... At the house of Kiriakis, Victor is cross as ever and tells Phillip the traitor to get out. Philip stays regardless, determined to tell him the reason he had to deal with Deimos the devil ... Belle sips her cocktail at the nightclub and assumes the worst when mama Marlena joins her. Marlena smiles and encourages her unhappy daughter to open up. Belle sighs the past was so picture perfect with herself, Shawn, and Claire. Somehow, however, she started to lose herself and made mistakes that hurt both Shawn and Claire. Marlena reminds her of her priorities. Belle admits she would rather be free from responsibility and have fun. Marlena assumes she is referring to Phillip Kiriakis. Belle would rather not discuss him and assures Marlena she is committed to making things right with Claire, who has become something of a stranger. Marlena muses her daughter is now a teenager but feels she is on the right path ... Ava has her phone in her hand and watches her sexy footage with Steve. She hyperventilates and sends it to Kayla ... Steve is sitting sadly at the park. John joins his partner, who tells him his whole Ava story, every sordid detail. John makes a face upon hearing he actually slept with the she-devil ... Kayla happily enters the house and considers making tea. Her phone is on the sofa and receives the message from her worst enemy ... John solemnly gives Steve advice. If Kayla finds out what he did before he tells her, he will certainly lose her. Therefore, he has to tell her and the sooner the better ... Kayla picks up her phone and plays what she was sent. Upon seeing Steve going wild with Ava in bed, she gasps in horror. Moments later Steve arrives, announcing he has something to tell her. She shows him what she watched and he clutches his stomach in tears. Kayla cries her heart out ... Ava anxiously waits for a reply in her room ... Nicole tries to stop Theresa from coming by claiming she would like her to look over their budget figures. Theresa tells her she already did. Nicole now claims she would like to visit Chloe and Parker as well and leaves for her airport ride. Theresa gets worried, especially when she imagines a deputy from California calling that Brady was discovered dead ... Brady shows up at a diner/bar on the beach. He asks about Summer but the bartender states he is a sub. The regular guy is coming in soon. Brady suddenly hears the song he hears every time he has a dream about Summer and stares at the jukebox. The regular bartender arrives and Dario grins at Brady Black. Brady is bewildered as he had assumed he was at Titan Argentina ... Phillip tells Victor the tale of how he had no idea that girl he took back to his room was an addict, her father a high ranking Chicago cop. Nor did he suspect she would overdose in his room. The Greek grumbles he should have come to him instead of going to Deimos. Exasperated Phillip explains he did not even know Deimos and certainly did not go to him. It was Deimos who approached him first, with photos of the girl in bed with him, then dead in his room. Deimos then blackmailed him and forced him to spy on Victor for information on the serum. But Deimos only wanted to throw it in his face that his son had betrayed him. Victor growls he still should have trusted HIM. All he ever wanted was loyalty not perfection. Phillip offers to do anything for another chance. Victor dangles the following forgiveness package - he has to convince Deimos he is angry at Victor for firing him to find out what his next move will be. Phillip is IN ... Beach boy Dario has not been in contact with siblings Rafe and Gabi since leaving Argentina. He came to California to find himself. Until he does, he is content to bartend by the beautiful beach. Brady brings up Summer and states she was someone Daniel Jonas knew. He is happy at the moment with someone new and a son in Salem. Dario congratulates him. He suggests he wait for Summer cos she will be here soon, she always sits here. When he hears Brady has never actually met the lady before, he warns her that she is nice but has issues and has spent time in a psych ward. Brady waits and waits but Summer is a no-show. He gives Dario his California contact details for her and asks him to pass them on. Dario will do. The guys agree no hard feelings about the past and shake hands. Brady heads back out to the beach. He sits in the sand and stares out at the endless ocean ... Emotional Steve wants to explain himself to baby. While they were stranded in Hawaii, crazy Ava demanded he sleep with her or she would never let Kayla go. He had to save her. She wonders whether Joe knows. No. She weeps he still lied to her. Steve weeps too. She cries about all the promises he made to her ... Ava anxiously accepts a delivery from a dangerous looking character in her room. A box with a needle and syringe. It is all part of the plan she has set into motion ... Belle arrives at the Kiriakis mansion. Phillip assumes she came to see him and is grateful cos he wanted to discuss their relationship. He can do casual. Belle coldly clarifies. She came to see only Victor not him ... Theresa calls the fabric company in Chicago to check whether Nicole is there. She is not, nor is she expected. Theresa worries she went chasing after Brady and imagines him choosing Nicole over her ... Kayla no longer wants Steve to call her sweetness. He begs her not to let this kill them. Kayla takes off in tears of torment. Steve snaps. He angrily texts Ava that she is a DEAD WOMAN ... Kayla sits all alone at the park. Ava comes around the corner and insists they talk about what transpired. Kayla looks up at her with haunted eyes ... Phillip unhappily leaves Victor and Belle alone. She haughtily announces he wants to buy his nightclub and asks him to name his price ... Theresa leaves Brady a frantic message to call her back. She is California bound ... Nicole is already there, banging on his hotel door ... Brady is sitting at the serene beach. He suddenly spies Summer as she stands and walks into the water. A strong ocean wave crashes over her and the soap hero races to her rescue ...! THE END |
