Serena is unable to find Eric's elephant and sends him out to check the sewage pretending there is a problem with the water. Once alone, she searches high and low. It is when she takes a couple of candle sticks out of a drawer that he returns, teasing there is still hot water AND he knows she just wanted to set things up for ... the romantic mood. He gets in the mood and they end up in bed together, where they make love again, though Serena still has other matters on her mind ... Jen and her heavy grocery bags are approached by Paige outside Horton house. The teen angel was visiting Daphne's house across the street and saw her struggling so she decided to help. Jen is grateful and when they get inside sees she has sprained her wrist. Paige the future doctor takes a look and suggests ice. Jen is even more grateful but gets tense when Paige points out she now lives at the dorm. Jen immediately suspects Eve of doing something to cause pain to Page as well as JJ, who is acting anguished. Paige tells her the tale of Eve paying a doctor to lie in Los Angeles to keep her away from JJ. That was what broke them up as she came home too late. JJ was already with another girl ... Shirtless JJ is staring at the ceiling in Eve's big bed. She silently sits up and starts to get dressed. He does the same ... Adrienne and Lucas are kissing somewhat passionately at the park. They step away from one another when they hear the call of the Justin in the distance. Adrieeeeeeeennnnnnne! He appears and asks why she walked out. Cos she was upset. Lucas gets sarcastic about Justin upsetting her, then mutters sorry for overstepping. Adrienne thanks him. He glumly gives them their privacy. Adrienne observes her husband with accusing eyes. She read the texts from Elsa! Justin has an explanation of course ... In Marlena's office, Paul the patient has just unburdened his soul. He cheated with Will but was unaware Will was married to the man he loves! Marlena implores him to STOP! She cannot go on as she has a personal conflict of interest. Paul scoffs, suspecting she is homophobic. She blurts out she happens to be Will Horton's grandmother! Paul soap stares ... At hubby's bedside, Will weakly suggests Sonny not believe the bellboy's tall tale. Sonny's eyes darken and he snaps Paul said the same thing as the bellboy when he came by! Will is stressed and surprised. Paul was HERE? Sonny snaps he said they slept together! Will is indignant Paul actually came to see Sonny. Sonny rages that is ALL he cares about, that he came by?! Will insists he was only with him one time and it meant nothing. Sonny says LIES! Will laments he only loves Sonny, who suspects he is still lying and says so, his eyes flashing with anger ... Eve sighs what are they doing and why? JJ sighs she knows why. Because they have no reason to stop. It is all rather strange ... Eve worries as Paige is hell bent on finding out who he has been sleeping with. JJ assures her he has it covered cos he will ask a friend from out of town to pretend they got involved over the holidays. He will even ask her to come to Salem so Paige sees them together. Eve whispers what a wonderful liar. He thinks he is a liar of necessity and notes she too is a liar, more than him. He reminds her he was truthful about caring for Paige, whereas she pretended to approve all the while trying to break them up. Eve thinks he should not come back. JJ can make no such promise,for they are in this black hole together ... Will's words continue to make a bad situation even worse. He promises Sonny it was only that one time and he made sure it would not happen again. Sonny snaps how noble. Will excuses they had been arguing. Sonny snaps so now it is HIS fault? Will states they were drifting apart. Sonny retorts the reason for that was cos he left for L.A.! Will reasons they needed the money due to Sonny's financial problems. Sonny explodes he whor-d himself out for a stupid story! He is in full KIRIAKIS mode. Will declares he just wanted to help Paul when he came out the way Sonny helped him. Sonny feels ill. Will reasons Sonny was with others. Only before him not after they were married! Sonny shouts why did Will not take his calls in California? He gets himself worked up about Will cheating there too, attempts to remove his ring, and hyperventilates. Will stops him. Sonny's heart rate spikes ... The doctor comes running in. So does Marlena, having referred Paul to another doctor. The doc suggests Sonny relax and gives him a sedative to make him sleep. Marlena wonders what happened but she says nothing about what she knows ... Before Sonny the mini Victor drifts off, he points the finger at Will and snaps Marlena should ask HIM what happened ... Justin the corporate shark shares his inconvenient truth with Adrienne. Elsa is the tigress who will have the final say in the deal, whether it goes through. Therefore he has no choice but to humor her. She teases they are work spouses and he pretends to play along ... He smoothly suggests they go see their son together. Adrienne the now not so desperate housewife walks away. Slick Justin follows ... Will whispers to sleeping Sonny he is sorry, he loves him. He admits to Marlena he hurt his hubby and asks her to stay at his side. Then he takes off to take care of something. Marlena silently stays and gives Sonny a sympathetic stare, hoping the pair will be able to overcome ... Lonely Paul looks at his mother's picture on his phone and sits all alone in his hotel room, re-reading the Sonix article. Will pays a visit and proceeds to tell him off for telling Sonny about them. A few sentences later Paul realizes he has no idea and drops a bombshell. He only went to see Sonny to try again cos he was the one he lost, the one who proposed. He had no idea he was Will's hubby. Will looks like he has been slapped a thousand times ... Jen lets teen angel Paige know that while they were apart JJ missed her something awful. Paige pouts it is too late for he is with another and exits. Jen gets herself all worked up and goes straight to Eve's place, screaming she knows now. She knows the disgusting thing she did to JJ and Paige! Eve goes pale, not sure how to respond ... She regains her wicked composure when she realizes Jen is referring to the pretense which kept Paige in Los Angeles. She hisses she would do it again to protect her from JJ the cheating dog who knows nothing about love! Jen scoffs there is no one who cares for Eve or her twisted brand of love. Eve taunts there is one who wants her and wants her a lot. Clueless Jen cackles at her and walks out, not bothering to wonder who ... JJ is at the dark park, leaving a smooth phone message for one Roxanne in Chicago. He misses her and needs a favor. He hopes she can come to Salem to spend some time together. A familiar voice makes him hide behind the town gate. Cole and Paige emerge as he smugly thanks her for helping him with his paper. JJ is peeved and appears, angrily accusing Cole of plagiarism ... Adrienne and Justin watch sleeping Sonny. She wonders where Will went. Marlena murmurs to take care of ... something ... JJ calls Cole names and implies he is dumb. Cole smugly states he was smart enough to steal his phone without his knowledge. JJ is puzzled. Paige points out he did so for her so she could see his texts. JJ is horrifed and gasps so she knows ... Will tries to pull himself together and snaps Sonny never said anything about Paul. Paul patiently points out he swore him to secrecy, to protect his pitching career. But he had no idea he was in Salem when he came here for his surgery. Will worriedly wonders whether Sonny ever came to see him at the hotel. Yes, that one time when Will was in the shower, but he wanted him to know they were over forever, as he was completely committed to his hubby. Pause. Paul perceives Will is reeling and offers him a drink to calm his nerves. Will turns him down and decides to go. Paul sighs he is sorry. Not nearly as sorry as Will ... Justin thanks God they got a blood donor for his son and wants to thank the mystery donor one day. Adrienne quietly remembers Paul ... Serena sweetly wakes up shirtless Eric in the big bed to tell him how perfect everything is. She now pretends to notice for the first time that their elephant is missing from his room. He explains he gave it away. Serena starts to feel the danger closing in ... THE END! |
