Rafe is back in action at the slick new nightclub. Victor the big boss has strict orders to treat Clyde like a VIP. Rafe suspects he is up to something. The Greek grimaces they have buried the HATCHET. Rafe knows there is more to this but the boss is only willing to issue gruff orders ... Kate and Lucas are sitting at Sonny's club. Clyde shows up and joins the pair, pointing out Lucas' son outed that famous ball player. Lucas retorts he outed himself. Clyde grins and steps away for a call. Kate now brings up the sensitive subject of Adrienne. Lucas insists he is no more than a supportive friend. Kate thinks she knows better. Clyde comes back from his business call and puts his arm around Kate like a teenager. He tells Lucas to join them as they paint the town. Lucas politely declines. Clyde ushers his lady off to Victor's new nightclub ... At the ornate house of Kiriakis, Justin gets himself a good stiff drink and lets Adrienne know he has noticed her silent treatment. The desperate housewife gives him a haughty look ... Serena is on her phone with her lady boss, who lets her know it is too late to hesitate. If she cares about Eric's well being, then she will finish this job fast ... Serena is upset at the idea of Eric being hurt and opts to go for a walk to clear her head. She throws open the door, only to find herself face to face with Eric himself. She stammers she should not have come back to Salem but Eric has all the right moves and starts to seduce her. They make love on the bed as she gasps in rapture ... Dr. Marlena the emotional healer has an unplanned session with Paul. It means nothing revealed here can ever be repeated by her. She makes that crystal clear ... Will has happily slipped the ring back on Sonny's finger. He sees him staring into space and asks what is wrong ... Here comes Caroline ... Chez Kiriakis Justin tries to make Adrienne understand his business is back in Dubai. She tries to make him understand her position. He drawls Lucas already enlightened him ... Caroline gushes she is glad Sonny is alright and gushes about the guys still wearing their wedding rings. She came to show her love and tells the pair how touched she was that they asked her to speak at their wedding. Will offers to walk her out. Sonny impatiently waits for him to return ... Justin smoothly suggests a truce and invites Adrienne out to Victor's nightclub, after which they can swing by the hospital to say goodnight to their son. Adrienne appears to soften. They go to the new club and are well received by manager Rafe, who gets them a good table. Justin soon ends a business call and toasts to them. Adrienne smiles it has been a while. The legal eagle spies Victor drinking at the bar and excuses himself to say hello. Adrienne finds herself all alone again ... Clyde and Kate also arrive at the new nightclub. Rafe is coldly cordial and gets them a VIP table. Champagne on the house follows. Clyde grins at Victor and lives it up with his ladylove. Victor is watching like a hawk... Marlena assumes Paul meant his family when he said he had messed up someone's life. She probes about his mother, whom he thinks was disappointed and discovers his "dead" father never knew he even existed. She probes Paul about his grandfather, whom he praises. Paul eventually unburdens his soul and tells her the whole tragic tale of losing the only man he ever loved, the same man whose life he just ruined ... Meanwhile Sonny is alone in his hospital room, his whole life having just been ruined ... Sonny throws the tablet with the article across the room and moans as he has hurt his side. He cannot forget Paul's admission that he slept with Will and imagines how they must have been in bed together. He convinces himself it was not nothing and DID mean something, working himself into a state. He sobs alone ... Eric and Serena snuggle in the afterglow. Tragic music is heard in the background. Eric eventually convinces her to come to his place and she eagerly packs her bag, secretly slipping the elephant statue inside as he waits for her in the steamy shower ... Victor asks his nephew how Sonny fares. He is relieved to hear he is stable and suggests Justin stick around Salem though he does not elaborate ... Adrienne spies Justin's phone on the table when it buzzes and sneaks a peek. There are texts from Elsa in Dubai, who misses him and thinks of him constantly. Justin's texts to her reveal her missing him had meant the world to him. Adrienne the desperate housewife puts the phone down and slips out. Once outside, she runs and cries. Lucas catches up with her at the park and asks what is the matter. She throws her arms around him and breaks down ... Sonny sadly remembers his wedding to Will, their vows, their kiss. Will appears and asks if he is alright. He thinks he knows how he feels. Sonny snaps he doubts it ... As Victor glares in Clyde's direction, Rafe does the math. He gets the Greek is setting him up to take a hell of a fall and would not want to be in the fool's shoes ... Meanwhile said fool approaches Justin, who is back at his table wondering where his wife went. Clyde claims he needs a corporate attorney as Aiden Jennings is out of town. Justin is surprised to hear country Clyde has any corporate interests but blows him off, advising him to await the return of Aiden. He is busy with business in Dubai ... Kate informs Justin that Adrienne already left. He frowns and walks off to find her ... Will knows what it is like to be attacked. It is surreal and changes your life. Sonny snaps it does, though they are not referring to the same thing ... Will notes Sonny was lucky. Sonny scoffs ... Will now wonders about Sonny telling Abe he was looking for him at work. Sonny exclaims he was looking for him at Paul's hotel room cos he knew THAT was where he was ... Adrienne steps back and sighs she is sorry. Lucas assures her everything will be alright and steps closer. Their eyes meet and then their lips ... Once at Eric's apartment, Serena suggests he find some food for her as she leaves her bag in his room. Unsuspecting Eric opens his fridge. Serena has her elephant ready in his room but much to her horror his important elephant is GONE ... Paul explains to Marlena his lover's proposal was included in the article she has yet to read. His old lover lives in Salem but Paul ruined everything when he was with another. He had no idea he was with the significant other of his ex for he was not even wearing his ring! Marlena asks who he means. He means WILL. He slept with Will, not realizing he was the hubby of the man he still loves. Marlena's eyes widen ... Will condescendingly claims he and Paul had to put the last polish on the article that night as it had to be perfect for Zoe. However, he is somewhat surprised since it was a secret that he was writing an article about Paul Norita the pitcher. Sonny decides the time has come to confront the cheating hubby. Derek the bellhop from the Salem Inn told him all about it when he came to club TBD. He told him Paul had a secret lover ...and it was ... "YOU!" he yells. Sonny is seething. Will blanches .... BOOM! THE END! Ahead on Days: Will's house of cards comes crashing down. Serena has a strange reaction. Jen accuses Eve! |
