At the cabin, Aiden the attorney is well aware that Hope, as an officer of the court, is obligated to report what has been revealed here today. He wants to know her next move. Hope wants him to tell her the whole sordid story. He tells the tale of cleaning up the pale boy and hiding his blood stained clothing. Then he called the cops. To this day Chase does not remember. Only he could implicate him to the cops for covering up and claiming Meredith had taken her own life ... Jumpy JJ gets home, where Jen awaits. She hisses he has been lying about his college classes, for he forgot to close his email and she saw an email from his English professor. One more absence and the hunk flunks! JJ assures her he is not falling back to his old ways. Jen wants to know the name of that girl he has been spending nights with. She points out Paige was his dream girl until Eve decided to destroy them. JJ blames himself and bolts ... At the new club, stylish Nicole is on the phone with unseen unheard Rafe, who is with his mother. He will be home soon ... Dan enters and she updates him on Rafe. He is pleased to hear it and also pleased about something else he heard about her ... Mel meets with Serena at the club, seeking an update on her research on what - or rather who - could be the connection between Theresa and Mandrake. All of a sudden Theresa spies the pair, having just entered the establishment with Eve ... In the Salem patient's room, Sonny rages at Paul for sleeping with Will. Paul points out it meant nothing and was only that one time. Sonny cannot believe someone who said he loved him could do such a thing to him! Paul is puzzled ... Will boasts to Marlena in her office that his article is out and already making waves ... Hope specifically seeks to know what made Meredith think Aiden was out to kill her ... Marlena has a more important matter on her mind - the return of Sonny's wedding ring from Roman to her to Will. Will is over the moon and marvels this will be his and Sonny's brand new beginning ... Paul assures Sonny they can still have their happily ever after, even though he had advised him to move on. Sonny exclaims he went and moved on with his husband! Paul looks like he has been slapped a thousand times ... Aiden downplays his melodramatic drunken wife's video worry that he wanted her dead. That was not true no matter how much they fought, for Chase needed his mom. Hope's eyes soften. Aiden keeps going. He suggests Meredith may have been losing her drunken mind and trying to set him up. Hope really wants to believe him so she does, even when he mentions the end of the video she did not watch, in which Meredith said she had to move her gun as Chase had found the hiding place. Aiden also praises her for trying to protect their son, just as he does and always will. Hope vows to keep her silence and protect Chase along with him. However, Aiden still appears guilty to some parties, like Bree. Aiden cares not. He would rather the boy suspect him of murder than realize he had shot his own mother to death. Hope gets teary-eyed and tells him together they will keep this secret to keep Chase safe. Aiden is quite certain his son will never remember, murmurs he loves Hope, and they kiss. Hope even wants to help patch up the hole in the wall with him ... Dan declares he knows what Nicole did ... Dan is referring to Nicole's heartfelt apology to Eric and Serena. He is impressed and praises her for committing to the art of change. She gets her hopes up - until he adds they will still never be friends or lovers ... Theresa wiggles over to Mel and Serena's table, asking Serena to tell Eric she will call him soon. She has been soooooo busy with her hot new guy. Eve appears by her side and the sinister sisters get catty. Serena hits back with the B word (beech). Theresa taunts Mel for not measuring up to her with Brady and the sisters depart. Serena sighs Theresa hates Mel, so why does she want to help her? ... Paul is petrified by his past actions. Sonny accuses him of knowing the whole time that Will was HIS husband. Paul points out Will never mentioned Sonny or even wore his ring. Sonny explodes. GET OUT! He starts to threaten him and Abe appears, wondering whether this is a bad time ... Seething Sonny states Paul was just leaving and gives him a dirty look ... Eve and Theresa take their sorry selves to the square. Eve is stunned to find out her half-sister suggested Paige get the name of JJ's tramp by taking his phone. Eve exclaims Paige blames her for their break up and blurts out SHE harbors no regrets ... Jen appears and asks what kind of regrets. Eve leers she has no regrets about telling it like it is about JJ. Jen scoffs. Theresa gets nasty about the affairs of the Devereaux duo of JJ and Abi. Jen laughs in her face ... Serena states Theresa may be trying to get pregnant. Nancy Drew Mel reasons there is more to it. Mandrake mysteriously ordered Clint to watch her and report. All Serena knows is that Mandrake was a heavy at Franklin Fertility, then disappeared. He could be underground. Mel wants more. The helpful pal points out she would need a P.I. Serena now ominously warns her not to get in deep cos such things can be dangerous and drag you in. Mel senses Serena too has a deep dark secret. Serena assures her all is well for her and Eric and excuses herself ... Paul tells Sonny he is so sorry and leaves the room. Abe notes that was a famous pitcher. Sonny notes that was Will's cover boy ... Abraham is here on police business, to find out if Sonny has remembered anything. Sonny sighs he remembered everything ... Dan has summoned JJ to his place, in case he would like to keep his brown leather jacket. JJ remembers wearing it the first night he was with Eve, refuses to take it and overreacts, storming out ... Sonny confirms to Abe that he was on his way to see hubby Will at the time of the vicious attack in the park ... Will arrives with a grin. Abe discreetly departs. Sonny wipes away a tear. Will states he has a surprise. Sonny snaps he knows. Will wonders how he liked the article. Sonny snaps he outdid himself. Will boasts he helped many. Sonny snaps like Paul? Will dismisses Paul. He now gushes he got his wedding ring back and slips it on his finger ... Dan heads to Horton house to hand Jen his box of clothes for the church charity drive. They both agree something is very strange with JJ. Jen holds Eve responsible ... Hope and Aiden cry and hug ... Serena is in her room when the woman she reports to calls with an ominous order. THEY will not wait any longer. She must therefore act on the elephant even if Eric is a casualty ... Theresa is at the hospital when a happy expectant mother arrives. She starts to hyperventilate ... Jen vows to find out just what that Eve did to her son ... JJ stops outside the club and stares at Paige's picture on his phone. He slams it to the ground and then picks it up, sorry he broke it. JJ is feeling a storm brewing inside. He seems to want to hurt himself so he goes to Eve's place. She lets him in. He shoves her against the door and they give into their wild passion ... Nicole the reporter works her phone at the club. Mel approaches with an unexpected request. She seeks the scoop on a certain someone and needs a sneaky snoop. Nicole is somewhat surprised ... Paul bursts into Marlena's office, desperate to talk. The serene one asks him to sit down. Paul laments he just lost everything ... Meanwhile Will stares at Sonny, unaware he is about to stand accused ...! THE END! Ahead on Days: Will is dealt an emotional blow. Paul confesses to Marlena. Lucas and Adrienne are too close for comfort! Serena wants that statue. |
