Marlena opens the door at Will and Sonny's apartment assuming it is the long overdue babysitter. As it turns out tis Kate, who had been hoping to see Will ...Victor has summoned crazy Clyde to the park. He announces he is giving up his illustrious side of business to spend time with family and keep them safe. Clyde eyes him with suspicion and states he made a wise choice. The Greek grumbles he wins and goes on his way. It sounds like a setup ... Beautiful Adrienne is feeling sorry for herself in the hospital lounge, as she was not notified by Justin about his itinerary from Dubai. Lucas stands by her side and tries unsuccessfully to lift her saddened spirits ... Paul cannot believe what bellboy Derek is saying and suggests he is playing games. Derek the do-gooder insists Sonny was stressed when he said Paul had been with another and that was when he took off. He deduces he never stopped loving him. Paul is now filled with false hope ... Will shows Sonny the article. Sonny snaps at the popup. Will explains they must wait 30 seconds but a lot can happen in 30 seconds ... Aiden further frightens Hope with his unstable antics, angrily admitting he lied. She wants to escape through the window. No luck. She accuses him of murdering his son's mother. Aiden is exasperated and shouts to get out. Hope now starts to suspect this is about his son ... he is protecting Chase is he not? Aiden eventually agrees to tell her the truth when she notices him nervously looking at a shelf that was not in the video, which means it is a new addition to the house to hide something ... Before Sonny can see the article, Justin arrives with a hug and happy hello for his son ... Crafty Kate wonders how things seemed between Will and Sonny at the hospital. Marlena wonders why she is so worried. Kate smoothly covers but she remembers Will admitting he had slept with Paul, something she convinced him to forever forget for it was the only way ... Will excuses himself to head home and check on Arianna. Justin grins he wants to get to see her as well. Once they are alone, Justin urges his son to tell him the whole story of his attack. Sonny does not mince words. He accuses him of not giving him the time of day until he was literally stabbed in the back ... Adrienne has had enough of anguish due to Justin ignoring her. She would rather focus on Sonny. Lucas enthusiastically suggests they go see him now in his room ... Paul is on a mission to make things right with Sonny, the one that got away who, according to Derek, still loves him. He runs into Will at the square and smiles thanks to the article, he can try again with the one that got away. Will solemnly states they will not be seeing each other anymore and appears relieved when he races off to his former flame ... Justin apologizes for his absence at Christmas. He and another lawyer have been hard at work for Titan but he does not tell any details. Sonny sulks the other lawyer is a lady and wonders whether she is single ... Adrienne and Lucas now enter and Adrienne gets curt about Justin not contacting her. His cell phone died ... Kate mentions Will having much on his plate to suspicious Marlena. All of a sudden Roman appears, amused the place is actually still standing with the two of them alone here. Kate gets a call from the sitter, whose sister is apparently on her way. She excuses herself to see Ari, leaving Marlena and Roman alone. Roman hands Marlena something he wants Will to have - a bag with Sonny's wedding ring, which was miraculously found, wiped clean of prints ... Justin finds out from Adrienne and loyal Lucas that Will went home to put the baby to bed. Adrienne gushes and gets excited at the idea of a get-together but Justin cannot confirm how long he is staying in Salem. Dubai beckons. Adrienne gets glum again. Sonny senses his mother's sorrow and stares, Meanwhile Paul is on the move ... Kate finds herself alone awaiting the arrival of the sitter's sister. Clyde calls, feeling like a celebration. She cannot help but notice he sounds as smug as a bug. The murderous man she spent the night with boasts things are goin his way ... Victor is back at the ornate house of Kiriakis and calls Sonny to check on him. Sonny is feeling fine but the folks want him to get some sleep. Victor will let him rest and promises to come by soon. The Greek gets off the phone and promptly places a call to Rafe, growling to get in touch the minute he is back in Salem. It is IMPORTANT ... Justin helps Adrienne on with her coat in the lounge, apologizing for not being able to commit to anything in Salem. Adrienne is angered by the secrecy and snaps the only reason they are here together is because of Sonny ... Paul slips into the sleeping Salem patient's room and softly strokes his cheek. Sonny starts to stir ... Aiden is exasperated when Hope insists there is something hidden behind the wall. What is it? He gets the axe and swings like a madman, reducing the wall to rubble. Then he pulls out a bag of child's clothes and sneakers marred with the dried blood of a 4-year-old's mother. Hope whispers Chase. Aiden now tells her his tale ...Meredith was drunk and Chase had found her gun. She tried to grab it back from the lad and they struggled. Aiden arrived too late ... Aiden breaks down. He was 4 years old and he does not remember. He can never remember! ... Adrienne is angry it took Sonny being stabbed to bring his father back to them, such as it is,and storms out. Lucas enters the lounge and lectures Justin for not being here for Adrienne when Sonny was at death's door. Others were here for her like Maggie and ... Justin gives Lucas a look and adds him too. Lucas raises his head in defiance and does not deny it ... Paul has a look at the article on the tablet. Sonny opens his eyes and impatiently asks what he is doing here. Paul had to come and hopes it is not too late for them ... Will heads home to shower and thanks Kate for talking him out of telling Sonny the truth. Paul is almost out of town by now anyway. Kate is pleased her advice was taken and reads the article, which she considers amazing ...Clyde calls Dr. Marlena at the town square, sorry he missed their session. She asks if he is alright. He gushes he has got lots more to discuss with her and she agrees to let him make another appointment. Clyde grins like the tomcat that is about to swallow the canary ... Paul proceeds to tell Sonny what Derek repeated to him - how upset Sonny was when he spilled that Paul had been with another guy. The memory of their conversation starts to come back to Sonny. Derek said Will was Paul's lover ... Sonny is uncertain of his memories until Paul points out the other guy was the one who wrote the article ... Sonny is holding the tablet. His Kiriakis eyes darken dramatically ... Aiden admits he lied. Meredith did not kill herself, she was killed by her 4-year-old son but no one believed the suicide story so Aiden got gossiped about by Bree and others. He wants to know what Hope intends to do now. Hope soap stares, her eyes filled with horror ... Paul makes his declaration of love to Sonny, who regards him with rage. MY GOD YOU SLEPT WITH HIM! And so begins the unraveling ... THE END! Ahead on Days: Hope makes up her mind. Paul is crushed. JJ goes crazy with Eve again. Nancy Drew Mel is on the case ... |
