After the sunrise, Hope sneaks down the stairs to snoop around the cabin. Alas the closet is locked. She starts to remember Meredith's video. But Aiden is right behind her ... At Kiriakis house, Brady the hopeless romantic has another gift for pretty Mel, including the do not disturb sign from their hotel room, to remind her ... They kiss in bliss ... Dan the man has a box of clothes ready for Jen's church drive and leaves her a message. Eric drops by for a visit. He thanks him for saving Sonny and then gets to the reason for this visit. Nicole ... Serena is in her room, on a call with her partner in crime. She knows what she has to do ... Knock knock! Tis stylish smiling Nicole, there to apologize. Suspicious Serena accepts the apology, decides she is just trying to impress Dan, and shuts the door ... At the club Dr.Kayla breakfasts with Paige, pointing out how impressed they all are with the new intern. Paige has a meltdown and sniffles it is about JJ. She is haunted by his behavior, the fact that he blew her off for his other woman, and vows to find her name ... Abi is surprised that Jen has arrived back at Horton house already. Jen explains she cut the trip short due to Sonny's situation. She wonders where oh where JJ could be, for someone mysteriously left his phone outside on the welcome home mat and he has not slept in his bed all night. Abi dreamily hopes he was with Paige ... Shirtless JJ gets out of Eve's big bed and gets dressed, feeling down all over again about Paige. Eve stirs and says his name before he can make his great escape. He frantically tries to find his phone, has no luck, and heads home ... Dan pours Eric a homemade cup of coffee as Eric explains he and Nicole are really history this time after that stunt she pulled. Dan laments he had to let her go and regrets not heeding Eric's warning about her wicked ways ... Hope informs curious Aiden she wanted to check on the status of the bridge. He already beat her to it and makes light of the fact that she will be marooned with him for at least another two days. Hope eyes are filled with dread. She dares to ask about the closet, what he keeps there, but Aiden smoothly changes the subject ... Dan and Eric now discuss Serena. Eric feels she is his calm after the storm. He is anticipating smooth sailing through those relationship waters. He smiles about her interest in his African art collection and gets going ... Serena takes out the elephant she intends to trick Eric with so she can get her hands on the real one he has in his room ... Hope anxiously assures Aiden she will respect the memories of his old house. He appreciates it and leaves to have another look at that bridge. Once alone, Hope starts to question herself. Meredith may have been lying. She gets back to the video and picks up where she left off. As if reading her mind, Meredith announces she has proof that Aiden tried to kill her by poisoning her wine with antifreeze. He keeps said antifreeze in a cabinet under the staircase. Hope finds the antifreeze there as described, asking herself who really put it there ... Brady and Mel are passionately kissing when Nicole comes in the room, as Henderson opened the door to her. Mel insists Dan knows about their relationship! Nicole woefully wishes them well and announces she made a big mistake by believing a loon about Serena ... Serena sweetly approaches Eric at the hospital, asking after Sonny. He is doing better thanks. She coos she can make him lunch today just like old times. Clueless Eric hands her his key. He will be home in an hour ... Kayla believes it would be best for Paige to talk to her mother. Eve enters but Paige refuses to have anything to do with her and orders her to get out. Eve woefully walks out of the club ... JJ comes home dragging his feet. He lies to Jen he was up bright and early to go to the library, hence his absence. Jen and Abi do not fall for the flimsy excuse but Jen must head to the hospital. She hugs her unhappy son. Abi is not about to let it slide and insists he tell the truth about who he was with last night. She gets him to glumly confirm it was the other woman, whom he hopes to never see again. Abigail wonders why he is speaking in circles ...Nicole grovels to Brady and Mel to find it in their hearts to forgive her. She hopes the same from Dan one day ... Dan glances at the box of clothing he is donating to the drive and discovers the old brown leather jacket he once let JJ borrow. He leaves him a message,musing he has something he might want ... In fact it is the same brown leather jacket JJ left in Eve's kitchen when she was entertaining him in her bedroom ... Paige sighs to Kayla about her mom going crazy about Cole, a guy she does not even know. Kayla calls her protective, seeing no harm in it. Paige points out her mom has always been easy with men and remembers that one she even hid from her, the one whose brown leather jacket was draped on a kitchen chair. T'was but a few months ago ... Dan has been toy shopping for Parker at the town square. Eve sees him and seizes her chance. She is desperate for someone to help her by talking to her daughter. Dan decides she should speak with Paige herself and goes on his way ... Hope keeps watching the Meredith movie. The blonde babbles after she uncovered the antifreeze plot, Aiden used to stare as she slept. She feared he would strangle her or hack her with the axe he had hidden in his closet under the stairs. That is the reason she now sleeps with this under her pillow! She holds up a gun ... Hope stares in horror when she hears Aidens angry voice on the video, demanding Meredith open the damn door. All of a sudden. Aiden knocks on the cabin door and demands Hope open it. Hope freezes, fearing she could be next ... Eric is at the hospital listening to Nicole's voice message, as there is something she simply must do. It all sounds rather mysterious ...Serena gets into Eric's room but trips and the elephant she was carrying falls to the floor with her. Nicole appears. Serena scrambles to hide the elephant that could expose her ... THE END! Ahead on Days: Serena's mission is thwarted. Aiden is onto Hope! Melanie is after Mandrake! Chad hasn't lost that lovin feelin ... |
