At the creepy cabin, Meredith has a message to the watcher of her video. If she is dead, then Aiden did it. And beware of his monster smile! Hope is horrified ... At the hospital Lucas insists to mama Kate that he is no more than friends with the fair Adrienne. Kate doubts it and warns him she is a married woman. What would Will and Sonny think?! ... Paul stands alone at the square,stressed, about to use his phone. Derek approaches and asks how it went with his friend. He mutters he may have messed up. He remembers telling Sonny that Will was with Paul and is filled with regret. But Paul presently has no patience ... At the hospital, Abe asks Sonny what happened that night. Sonny stares at Will ... At the chapel Clyde taunts Victor for looking like he has seen a ghost. He smugly states he sent him that text from Damon's phone and leers next time he should tell him the right way to kill a man, with a knife or a bullet to the head. Victor is seething. Clyde accuses him of starting things but now all bets are off. He has his men who will murder one of his loved ones if he ever has him attacked again and just like Sonny they will never see it coming! The Greek growls family members are off limits but country Clyyyyde plays by his own rules. He seems to have been wearing a bullet proof vest ... As Eve and JJ get it on, Paige meets Cole at the park for the name of JJ's secret lover. Cole claims to have solved the mystery because of texts between JJ and Daphne! Paige cannot believe the betrayal and together they storm off to confront the bff ... Aiden comes down the stairs so Hope hastily hides what she was watching. He smiles but is it really a monster smile? Either way, Hope is feeling anxious being alone with him all of a sudden ... Paul places a call to the hospital, desperate to find out how Sonny is faring ... Sonny innocently asks Will where he was ... Will flashes back to Paul and stammers he was working ... Sonny states on his story ... Will stammers in agreement ... Sonny cannot say what he was doing at the square and wonders what he is doing in a hospital bed ... At the cabin, Hope fibs she wanted to find the spare charger and accidentally slammed the drawer is all. Aiden is still extremely agitated about Bree's accusations but admits he is unable to escape the tragedy of Meredith no matter where he goes. She did not deserve to die like that ... JJ and Eve lie in bed together. She is surprised when he stays. He stares at the ceiling and sighs he has nowhere else to be ... Aiden stops short of sharing more details on his late wife's death and smiles they should take a stroll along the beach together. Hope gasps it is night time. He promises to protect her. Hope proceeds to open the closet for a jacket but he stops her fast, explaining only Meredith's old things are in there. However, he remembers the axes in that closet ... He gallantly gives her his jacket and ushers her out for the late walk ... Paul is at the pub, but cannot get any information about Sonny for he is not family. He flashes back to once upon a time when they were in love and downs his drink to numb the pain ... Abe is anxious to investigate. Sonny is asked what the last thing he remembers is. He remembers thinking about springtime with Arianna ... All of a sudden he realizes his ring is gone and sighs they stole it ...Will assures him he can get a new one and slip it on his finger just like the day they were married. Rings are replaceable, unlike relationships ...Victor glares daggers at Clyde, whose parting shot is to drop Sonny's wedding ring to the floor. The Greek gets it off the floor and grimaces ... Dr. Kayla is concerned about the patient's confused state and wants him left alone for some much needed rest. Abe advises him to get in touch if anything else comes back to him. Adrienne tenderly tells her son his father is on a flight home and the room is cleared. Sonny asks Will to stay. Just Will ... Kate finds Victor alone at the chapel and updates him on Sonny being awake. Victor knows he is a fighter. Kate now gets a call from Clyde and flirts. Victor frowns ...At Sonny's bedside, Will breaks down. What would he do if he lost him! But the Salem patient does not seem strong enough to have any kind of deep discussion. He continues to watch Will with his big brown eyes ... Paige grabs Daphne's phone from her college pal's hand and hisses at her for cheating with JJ. Cole comes up behind Paige to show his support. Daphne explains the texts between herself and JJ were about him bugging her about Paige. She invites her to read them. Paige sees them on her phone and is sorry. Cole got it all wrong. Back to square one ... Hope and Aiden come in from the cold and he ushers her upstairs, explaining her room is ready and she can leave in the morning. He acts almost relieved ... Later when the lights are off, Hope sneaks down the stairs ... Pub Paul is still all alone as he calls Adrienne, imploring her to update him on Sonny's state. He is relieved to hear he is awake,alert, and the prognosis is positive. He promises to leave town as previously stated, for Sonny's sake. Adrienne is grateful to him for saving Sonny and hopes the best for him. She will never forget what he did ... Sonny is curious about the story Will was working on. Will sighs it is over and done. He wishes it had never happened ...Sonny suspects he is not happy about something ... Clyde stares at the man in the mirror who has bullet bruises on his chest and remembers Jeremiah helping him stand up in the Salem snow, how they laughed like loons about him cheating death ... Clyde cackled Victor's luck ran out ... Kate comes to his room and they kiss wildly. He lies he slipped on black ice. She purrs his bruises are sexy and they smooch up a storm ... Eve has two bottles of water in the kitchen. JJ is reposing in her bed. Paige appears and wonders who the second bottle is for. Eve explains it was a force of habit for she always got one for her daughter. Is she back to stay? Paige snaps she came to get her backup drive, gets it and goes, hissing she will not stay to hear how happy she is she lost JJ ... Hope has a look around, from the closed closet to the drawer with the secret compartment but she does not get far ... Aiden turns on the lights and smiles he hears every single sound in the night. Nothing escapes him! She smiles she wanted a glass of water. He smiles he left one in her room and ushers her back upstairs ... In the lounge,Lucas stands with Adrienne. She thanks him for being a friend. He praises her for her strength and appears to want to say more. He realizes Justin is returning ... Adrienne alludes to not wanting him to repeat what she told him in confidence. Lucas looks like he longs to kiss her. Adrienne bids him a good night and goes ... At the town square, Victor learns from Abe and Roman that they are treating the attack like the work of a lone junkie. The only problem is they have no witnesses. Once alone, Victor turns, wipes the fingerprints from Sonny's wedding ring,and lets it fall by the flowers, where it may be found ... Will explains to Sonny that the big story took away all the time he should have spent with Sonny and Ari. He has not even had time to visit Gabi. He is still happy he wrote the story to help others but if he ever lost him ... Sonny stops him. He did not lose him ... However, he does not understand why it is so hard to remember. Will suggests it is for the best. Sonny agrees and slowly falls back asleep. Will tenderly kisses him ... Paul drowns his sorrows at the pub, unable to stop thinking of Sonny ...JJ and Eve get glum together about losing Paige ... Hope cannot help but notice Aiden's smile and remembers Meredith's dire warning about the smile of the monster who would murder her ...! THE END Ahead on Days: Hope investigates. Abi knows JJ is hiding something. Tough luck Serena! Mel and Brady feel lucky in love ... |
