Charlie is sweating when sweet Claire comes to the office with a smoothie. He admires the locket until he hears the gift came from Ben ... Kayla exclaims Allie is the victim and doubts Tripp is as innocent as he claims. Steve argues the DNA test could have been switched. Kayla scoffs and suggests he make his son confess ... Allie suddenly seems calm. She asks him to watch Henry while she heads out. Sympathetic Lucas seems to think they are on the same page, but Sami’s daughter has another idea ... Xander storms out as Phillip makes a snide remark. After he is gone, he apologizes for coming between them. Sarah fibs she never felt they would last anyway ... Mafia princess Ava updates Kristen on Phillip’s big gambling debt to the Vitalis, how he is repaying said debt by laundering big bucks thru Titan. He is good at cooking the books too. Kristen senses Xander could pose a problem, but Ava is strangely calm cos she ordered Phillip to get rid of the guy. If he does not then she will. Ava is not nervous discussing such matters with a DiMera ... Charlie puts down his smoothie. Ben and Claire are clearly close. She teases so he muses she has many ex boyfriends. She insists she and Ben will never be an item. He accepts that and she smiles they should go somewhere on his lunch hour. Charlie faithfully follows her out ... In the lavish Kiriakis living room, Phillip comforts insincere Sarah with a hug. Xander spies on them ... At the square, strolling Lucas sarcastically offers to introduce his grandson to Steve, his eyes flashing ... Kristen cuts the creepy conversation short. Ava tells her to take care and then sees the headline on the open laptop. Tripp the rapist went free. She gasps that is her son ... Tripp suspiciously opens his door to Allie, who updates him on the London police not pressing any charges against him. Tripp cannot believe his good luck - until she pulls a gun on him.
