Justin has breakfast at the pub with grateful client Ben, who got off with community service plus a big fine. Ben is still haunted by what happened to Ciara ... Editor Jen ends a call about Ben’s sentence and is surprised to see Jack at the Horton door, suited up with files on this fine morning. He asks to enter. No luck! He has papers for her to sign and wishes she would return to work. She pouts not to push. He repeats he loves her. Furious Jen has not forgotten his Kate fling ... Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Xander tries to talk Sarah out of flirting for information from Phillip. He gets jealous and they kiss again. Downstairs in the elegant living room, suited Phillip obsesses over how to get rid of Xander ... Charlie confides in Claire about getting caught between Phillip and Xander at Titan but gets cut off when she breathes "Ben!," jumps up and throws her arms around him. Charlie blinks ... At Julie’s Place, animal print blonde Bonnie drowns her sorrows, then notices Jen at a table. She complains about Justin not calling her as promised ... Justin is now alone at the pub. Enter Jack. Justin just returned from an Arizona holiday with Sonny, Will and the rest of the gang. He asks about Jack’s anniversary bash ... Claire is cross Ben ignored her messages. Ben apologizes. Charlie stands up so Claire introduces the hubby of the late Ciara. Claire insists he join them. Charlie makes nice but feels like a fifth wheel ... Sarah is clad in a sweater and tight jeans when she joins Phil in the living room, there to do some Christmas decorating. She gets him to help untangle some lights and hears he is upbeat about his work situation ... Xander confronts cool as a cucumber Kristen about her visitor Angela Vandercount. He needs to know her connection to Titan ... Bonnie wishes she were as happy as Jen and Jack. Jen enlightens her on the latest ... Jack tells Justin all about the bust of an anniversary party. The fair Jen is now staying chez Doug and Julie and is giving him the silent treatment. Justin is sympathetic. Jack fears all is lost ... As Phillip helps with the decorations, Sarah pretends to politely make small talk. She asks about his days away from Salem. He traveled to stay far from Titan and Victor. She wonders why he returned. He alludes to trouble, then smoothly changes the subject to how serious he is about the future. When he makes a comment about Xander, Sarah dismisses her honey as one who hates sharing. Phillip would not want to share a woman like her! She wonders whether he had anyone special ... Kristen knows no link between Angela and Titan. However, she does hate Victor with a vengeance and has not forgotten Xander was his co-conspirator. She therefore wishes their enemies luck ... Claire acts appalled about the charges against Ben. Charlie quips he assaulted an officer, so Claire cuts him off. Charlie cuts the sit-down short and heads to work. Ben is glad Claire found someone. She wishes she could do something for Ben. He has an idea ... Tipsy Bonnie notes no men tell the truth, just like Justin with her and Jack with Jen. She orders Jen a drink so they can forget their fellas together ... Claire is in Ben and Ciara’s room to help pack Ciara’s belongings. She folds her stylish clothes. Ben asks her about Charlie, and she admits he is having a hard time caught between Phillip and Xander’s battle ... Phillip states he had no one special while away from Salem. As per Shawn, he still wants Belle. He teases Sarah can help him get over it ... Kristen refuses to help. Xander argues her friend and Phillip are conspiring against Titan. She cares not. He warns Brady would not approve of her letting that legacy go to hell ... Claire comes across a map, but Ben grabs it. He admits he has been searching the woods near the airfield where Vincent took Ciara. She offers to accompany him. He woefully turns her down and tells her to take anything she wants since she liked his beloved Ciara’s taste. Claire has her eye on the necklace that once belonged to Victor’s mother. She already has the earrings from the set. Ben graciously gifts it to her ... Phillip suggests Sarah help him arrange a Titan holiday concert to benefit a charity. Sarah is busy. He offers to give the proceeds to the children’s wing though Xander might be a bit jealous. Sarah is in ... Kristen doubts Brady would blame her. The kids do not even need Titan. Xander rages to rot in the slammer. She gives him something to chew on. Old friend Angela would not hesitate to OFF anyone who went against her. Xander suddenly realizes just how sinister Ms. Vandercount is ... Phillip arrives at the office and asks hardworking Charlie about Xander. He has not yet arrived. Phil goes to get a coffee himself. He leaves his computer unattended so Charlie the spy sneaks a peek ... Back at the mansion, Xander sighs to Sarah all he learned is that Phillip’s boss lady is dangerous. He worries Kristen might forewarn her and she will forewarn Phillip. Sarah boasts but Phillip does not suspect her ... Kristen calls and summons Ava to the slammer. It is serious ... At the pub Jack wishes Adrienne were here to advise him. Justin deduces she would tell him to drop the pity party and fight for the fair Jen! Jack decides to do just that. He heard she is now at Julie’s Place ... At Julie’s Place, Bonnie makes eye contact with two goodlooking guys. Tipsy Jen starts to laugh. Bonnie suggests they sock it to Justin and Jack. Speak of the suited devils! Justin and Jack soon approach the tipsy two and want to sit at their table. Alas they were awaiting the two guys, who bear drinks. They cackle and toast while Justin and Jack soap stare at their women with the two random Romeos ... The last box with Ciara’s belongings is closed. Ben emotionally thanks Claire and reminds her to take the necklace. She opens the locket and weeps when she finds a photo of her and Ciara as little girls. Ben holds her and weeps as well ... Phillip comes back from the closed coffeeshop and catches Charlie at his computer ... Sarah has a plan. But first she must get Xander to agree to her idea - which will involve a fake break up!
