There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Chad watches Abigail through the secret interrogation window and admits to Roman he believes Ben should really be the one to worry. Abigail might kill him now! There is a police guard positioned in the room as Abigail touches Ben's face to make him see she is NOT dead as he feared. She asks where the baby is. Ben boasts he left him in safe hands with his mama. Abigail screams his mother is DEAD and starts to cry. What did he do to her baby? ... As they speak the baby is still in the motel room all alone making some sounds on the bed ... Chase is frantically searching through a box of his late father's belongings for a clue on what made him go mad when Rafe arrives at the house desperately seeking Hope. She is not present but Chase asks him to stay. He confides how angry he feels about his father's antics and fears he could be just like him. Rafe attempts to give the lost lad a little pep talk ... Hope has carted Dr. Malcolm all the way to a dim desolate abandoned industrial area, where she has strapped him to a chair. She takes out her taser and taunts she will taser him until he tells her the name of his boss. She makes good on her threat too and he howls in pain like a tormented tomcat ... As lonely Eve looks at her daughter's photograph and listens to Beautiful Dreamer, Kate is having yogurt at the square with Eve's ex Ed, whom she finds sympathetic. He confides about his Paige music program and Kate commends him. But she raises an eyebrow upon hearing his other children in Salem happen to include RAFE. She coos she knows him well ... The tasered doctor who tortured Bo tries to turn the tables on Hope by taunting her for being a Jezebel that took anotha lova as Bo was hanging on by a thread. She clutches the knife with which she threatened to cut off his thumb and fails to see him slowly loosening his hands. He laughs like a loon to distract her from his attempts behind his back and then asks about Bo. Hope emotionally turns away and remembers he was her everything ... Ciara listens around the corner as Chase is consoled by Rafe, who admits he too had a father with a checkered past. He urges him not to hold his anger inside. Talk to people. Chase sighs he has no one to speak to about it. Ciara soap stares, then steps out. Rafe has just told Chase he knows Hope and Ciara are there for him so her appearance is both welcomed and well timed. He gives them a friendly farewell and returns to the station, asking Ciara to have mom Hope call him the minute she sees her. Chase sighs and suspects Ciara the new stepsister heard what he was saying to Rafe. Ciara sighs she did and is so sorry ... Ed would rather not know about his son and the woman whom he now considers his date. Kate notes she has another thing in common with Ed other than their illustrious past - for her grandson was the father of Arianna, his granddaughter. They toast to their future, past indiscretions be damned, with their yogurt ... Ben is babbling about Clyde beating him. Abigail gets him to remember he left the baby surrounded by pillows at a motel. He mutters he would never hurt him, then gets back to thinking in the past, petrified Clyde will come and beat him. He jumps up and howls. The police guard restrains him. Abigail updates Roman and Chad outside the room. Chad tenderly tells her she is amazing and holds her face in his hands. Then he goes to get something done. Roman orders the cops to comb the area of Mammoth Falls for all nearby motels. He is confident the baby will be found and asks Abigail to wait ... Soon someone enters the motel room where the baby is in a blanket and the shadow hovers over him ... Ciara asks Chase to stay in Salem and agree to her proposed pact that they are a team who can tell each other anything. He sighs he has no one in Salem ... Ed praises Kate's corporate killer side as she purrs about her plans for Basic Black. They arrive at the dark park and he places his jacket around her shoulders. She gazes at him and they get close on the bench but before anything can happen Eve calls. She agrees to head up the music program for Paige and points out she has still not forgiven him. Ed is grateful. Kate walks him to his room as they continue their flirtation and leaves him there. She alludes to having a reason to come back to the hotel. Then she waltzes off. When Ed goes inside he finds a woman in a black dress waiting with a wicked smile. Ed is exasperated and wonders how she found him ... Hope has drawn her loaded gun on the doctor and demands the name of the one who gave him orders or else he dies now. He pretends to beg for his life and jumps up to get the gun. They struggle. Hope fights as tough as a man. At first that is ... Ciara lets Chase know he is important to her. He leans in to kiss her like a boyfriend but she recoils and gasps what is he doing. Chase runs upstairs ... At the station, Lani, Rafe, and Roman are present as Justin gets an update on Ben from Abigail. She cries about him killing people to set up Chad in his jealous rage. Poor Paige was a witness he wanted to silence and then Will found out so he strangled him too. Abigail weeps about Wendy the midwife as well, whose life she begged Ben to spare. She cries she could have stopped this if only she had paid more attention to the problems he was having. Ben was sick! Justin assures her she is not to blame ... Ed enters his hotel room. The woman in black has an assignment for him. He snaps he already said he was over and done with the organization. The woman in black muses one is NEVER done and it is NEVER over. It simply does not work that way ... Ben is alone in his cell on a suicide watch. He stares into the camera like a natural born killer ... Abigail is escorted to the hospital, where JJ and a surprise await ,the surprise being Chad, who is holding her baby. He gushes someone needs his mama and places her in his arms. A tender mother and child reunion ensues ... Rafe leaves Hope an anxious message. He knows she was suspended and urges her not to go vigilante and do anything crazy. Too late! Hope is fighting with Dr. Malcolm but he gains the upper hand, shoving her against the wall. He chokes her and leers let them see who breaks first. It suddenly sounds like a duel to the DEATH! THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Hope and Malcolm might have a deal! AVA VITALI ARRIVES! John wants Ed to tell him about Winterthorne. Andre is after Belle now! |
