There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Hope has an unexpected visitor at the house. Roman stares her down and talks tough about her dangerous game of Russian roulette with a suspect. But Hope believed she was in control of the game. Roman talks rules. She scoffs at the notion of the sinister suspect who tortured Bo having any rights and hands Roman her gun, trying to quit... At the dark square the dastardly doctor is on his cell phone with his mysterious boss, demanding immediate payment. He spies Detective Rafe lurking nearby and calls him his shadow. Rafe smiles he simply wants to keep the peace. The doctor ends his call and claims Hope committed a crime by attacking him. Rafe points out it would be hard for him to prove the detective broke the law. The doctor leers to keep her off his back ... At the pub, Ciara complains to Chase about her mother's erratic behavior. He sighs he would talk to Hope but alas she only sees his father's face when she looks at him. He intends to move away and live with his aunt in Chicago. Ciara touches his hand and tells him to stay cos she cares. He smiles and agrees, blushing profusely. Enter Theo ... Demented Ben is holding the baby outside the cabin he has just set ablaze. He soothes the crying infant and tells him daddy is here. Then he leaves Chad and Abigail to die in the fire he started. Inside the hot cabin, Chad DiMera is desperate to free himself as Abigail weeps she will never see her son again. Never is not a word in his heroic vocabulary so he gets free and frees her as well. Abigail coughs and feels weak so he carries her out in his arms. The sirens grow louder and the fire department and local cops are soon on scene. Chad places the girl he loves gently in the snow and implores her to wake up. She does, now desperate to get to her son ... Meanwhile Ben has stolen her son and taken him to a motel. He coos that his ho mommy and bad Chad are dead so now he has just him. Ben smugly smiles. The baby cries louder. Ben sets him on the bed and departs for some formula. He returns to the office of the midwife he murdered and sneaks in to steal some formula and supplies. He soon has what he needs but suddenly hears voices outside the door. He hastily hides in the closet. Officer Lani and JJ come in. They soon spy the wet footprints and pretend to leave. When Ben emerges, Officer Lani has her gun drawn. Ben is unable to escape. He is sat on a chair and read his rights. When JJ asks after his sister Ben stares into space and states she is gone. Lani intends to take him back to Salem and stops JJ from threatening him. JJ leaves to see whether the sirens they now hear are related to his missing sister ... Hope has been temporarily suspended by Roman. He makes her hand over her guns, including the one strapped to her ankle ... Chase angrily excuses himself after Ciara thanks Theo for the new music mix he made her with a hug. He walks alone in the dark alley as Theo gets a worried look in his eye. Ciara is sympathetic toward her new stepbrother. Theo reminds her that his father was not quite right. Theo evidently sensed something ... JJ arrives outside the cabin, where Abigail worriedly wonders what Ben did with her baby. JJ updates them on Ben being taken back to Salem. Abigail is desperate to ask him where her premature son is. JJ is shocked by Ben's actions. Meanwhile Lani has hauled Ben into the Salem station where Roman and Rafe await. He babbles about wanting his mother, the beating he will suffer at the hands of his cruel father. Roman and Rafe are bewildered - until Chad calls Rafe with an update on the madness of Ben, who admitted to being the necktie killer to Abigail, only to try to kill them both. He took Abigail's premature son. Rafe now speaks on the phone to the local cop who wanted Abigail to give a statement before returning to the station in Salem. She is now free to leave. JJ has checked in with Roman. He offers to wait at the scene of the crime just in case. Chad departs with the damsel in distress. She is convinced she can get Ben to reveal where he took the baby but a part of her fears the worst. Chad holds her and consoles her that the baby will be fine cos Ben would not have hurt his own son ... Ciara is listening to her new music mix at the pub. All of a sudden, Theo gets an anonymous text calling him a FREAK. Ciara perceives his perturbed look and asks what is the matter. Theo says nothing but he wonders ... The dastardly doctor is back on the phone with his mysterious boss. He snaps he spent a whole year trying to break Bo Brady for information and it is not his fault they did not succeed. He wants his money and gets another order that he seems to agree to ... Back at the Salem station, Ben the killer has been handcuffed to a chair. He is lucid enough to remember his recent actions though he has become uncommunicative with the cops. Chad arrives outside the interrogation room with Abigail and updates them on the madness of Ben. Abigail asks to appeal to him directly. He took her son somewhere and time is running out. Rafe, Roman, and Chad will be watching from the secret window. Abigail quietly enters. Ben has his face on the table like a frightened child. She smiles at him and he gets spooked, believing her to be a ghost out for revenge or an angel. Chad watches worriedly against the window ... Back at the house Hope gets the one gun Roman did not know about and slips out into the night, raising an eyebrow ... Hope is waiting in the doctor's dark room when he returns. He is about to have a beer but she presses her gun against his neck ... At the station Roman updates Rafe on having to temporarily suspend Hope. Rafe promises to be back soon and takes off to save her from her vigilante self ... Vigilante Hope is dangerously calm. She murmurs into the ear of the man who tortured her beloved Bo that there are no rules now. Then she tasers him and he falls to the floor. Hope is just getting started ... Abigail stands before Ben and sweetly suggests he tell her where her son is so she can hold him. Chad watches and waits outside the window with bated breath. There is no escape for Ben, who pulls at the handcuffs on his chair. His insane eyes are filled with fear as Abigail implores him to let her know where her infant son is ... In the now dark motel room, the baby Ben left alone on the bed starts to gurgle. It is late and he is due for a feeding but no one even knows he is there ... THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives Ben's madness deepens. Abigail is desperate to find her hungry baby! Hope turns the tables on Bo's torturer. Kate and Ed? Oooo |
