Brady takes Theresa into their new town home. Tate is with the nanny. Theresa gushes she is grateful they get to start over, the three of them, and gazes at Brady with stars in her pretty eyes ... Roman stops by the pub to see how Caroline fares. She smiles she is stronger than he thinks. He sighs she is stronger than him. Ciara walks in and broaches the subject of her mother behaving bizarrely ... At the station, Rafe stops Russian roulette Hope by grabbing her gun. Malcolm almost falls out of his chair in fear. She rages she will get her answers and hits the doctor on the chest with her hands ... Abigail begs Ben to stop strangling Chad, who is choking on the cabin floor. Ben rages about the baby crying and turns toward mother and child. Chad gasps to let baby and Abi go pleaaaase. Ben rages at him and then orders the young mom to prepare the baby for a trip. Then he ties up Chad like an animal for slaughter ... Brady and Theresa are having a sweet time at their new town home despite the lack of electric. He apologizes for being unkind when she was first pregnant and is sorry for not believing her. She smiles about feeling the warmth of the fireplace and closes her eyes. Brady comes behind her, takes her in his arms, and gives her a romantic deeply passionate kiss. She responds and the clothes start to come off ... Ciara is in tears about the strange state of her mother. Caroline gives her a pep talk about giving Hope a hug, that would help. Ciara starts to feel better. Roman goes with her after he hands his mom a money clip with big bucks only Victor could have dropped. They depart and Caroline carries a plate to the kitchen, money clip with her. On the way she has a horrifying vision of Victor at the mansion, holding his heart in pain. The plate crashes to the floor ... Theresa and Brady make love like newlyweds ... Rafe has kicked Hope out of the room and informs Dr. Malcolm they only have a few questions. They are after the man who gave him orders. The well bred doctor, however, knows his rights in any land and threatens to sue the department for assault. He storms out of the room adding he is getting an attorney. Outside, he taunts Hope with a smug smile and she threatens him again as he exits. Rafe now confronts Hope for breaking the law. He believes internal affairs will get involved and he will be unable to protect her. Hope blasts him for his betrayal. She promised justice for Bo! Rafe believes this is not what Bo would want. He lets it slip he spoke to him before he died. Hope implores him to repeat what he said, her eyes filled with tears of torment. Rafe gently explains he asked him to look out for her. Hope breaks down but refuses to listen to Rafe's reason. Rafe fears she will go far enough to end up in prison and admits he might have to forewarn Roman. Hope insists on her own brand of justice for Bo and turns down Rafe's suggestion of speaking to someone. She turns to go. He asks her to turn over her gun. She snaps he is not her superior and storms out. Rafe now does something that pains him. He places a call to Roman to update the commissioner on their BIG problem ... Brady cuddles with Theresa and tells her he trusts her when she talks furniture. Then he kisses her again. The shirtless one gets a text from Victor about signing his resignation papers. Theresa wishes he would come work at Basic Black. She could use him on her side. He gives her a tender pep talk about handling Kate the way Sami did ... The baby is ready and Chad is on the bed. Ben is still holding his gun and orders Abigail to chain herself to Chad. He gets the baby. Abigail is aghast. She begs him not to separate her from her son, who needs a feeding every two hours to survive. Belligerent Ben is not listening and chains them together on and to the bed. There is no way out. Abigail pleads for the sake of her son since there is no store open for formula. He will surely die without her! Chad stares ahead. Ben puts the baby down and then finds a bottle of gas, which he feels was fate. Abigail weeps and appeals to the man she met that day at the pub. Ben rages she ruined what they almost had by choosing Chad. He lights a lighter and gets a small flame as Chad silently struggles to free himself from the ropes that bind his hands behind his back. He does so with DiMera determination ... At the Kiriakis mansion, Brady does not back down. Neither does Victor, who is furious he has chosen to be with Theresa the terrible. He reminds him of the drinking, drugs, debauchery. Brady blames himself for all that. He believes the past is the past and refers to her as family. He gives granddad a chance to apologize to the mother of his child. The Greek growls and refuses. And so it comes to pass that Brady hands him his resignation papers, concluding he needs to keep a distance between them. Once he goes, the Greek calls and leaves a frantic voice message for his son Phillip, ordering him home to him and Titan at once ... Hope has a strange look in her eye as she enters the house she once shared with Bo. She puts her gun down beside his picture and takes out a bullet, staring strangely ... Ben bitterly accuses Abigail of ruining everything and rages now she can be with Chad forever. He gets out the lighter as Chad feverishly fights to free his hands. He is getting close ... Brady returns home to the townhouse with Chinese food. Theresa is warmly waiting with Tate. He admits it was tough breaking all ties with the grandfather who mentored him but knows it was the right thing to do. He tenderly takes Tate in his arms and teases his mama about her decorating. Theresa laughs and looks on lovingly. They are the perfect picture of a happily little family. For now ...Dr. Malcolm sits at the square with his phone and updates his boss on the cops harassing him. He insists they do not suspect their connection and wonders what comes next. Unbeknownst to the dastardly doc, Detective Rafe is tailing him! He lurks a few feet away in the shadows, straining to hear the words that are spoken between the suspect and his mysterious superior ... Ciara is extremely emotional from having visited her father's grave again. She returns home, surprised to see her mother with her gun. Hope replies she was just cleaning her service weapon. She agrees they need to talk and hugs her daughter back. But they have a visitor at the door. Roman interrupts the mother daughter moment when he enters and asks to speak to Hope alone. Ciara heads upstairs to her room. Roman is intense ... Back at the cabin, Ben cruelly covers the bed in gas. Chad inches closer to Abigail as they both appeal to him not to do it. But Ben is consumed with madness. He ignores their pleas, lights the lighter and tosses it onto the foot of the bed, which starts to burn. He smiles at his son to say goodbye to his ex mama and leaves with him. Abigail screams not to take him and Chad gets closer in an attempt to protect her. The cabin is seconds away from becoming an INFERNO! THE END! |
