There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Vigilante Hope is at home staring at the composite of the man who cut off Claudia's thumb for speaking to Steve about Bo. She is strangely calm. Ciara comes in and finds out her distant mother is dedicating herself to a case concerning Bo. She cries it is too soon, calls her obsessed, and takes off ... Julie is the new mistress of Marton Mansion, which she and hubby Doug have bought. The B and B has its first guest too and he just happens to be the man in the composite Hope is desperately seeking ... At the pub sophisticated Belle leaves Sami a stressed message. She needs to know why in the world she would put hundreds of millions of dollars in an offshore account in HER name! She gets up to go only to run into mama Marlena, who senses something. She offers to cancel her appointments so they can catch up. Belle suddenly gets a text from Sami summoning her to the park and excuses herself. Marlena watches her vanish from view with worry ... Detective Rafe works the phone at the station. He is waiting for the all clear in Mammoth Falls and is in contact with the authorities. Jumpy Jen arrives and asks for an update ... At the cabin, Chad the hero stops in his tracks. Ben growls if he moves he is a dead man and continues to aim his gun at his head. Abigail anxiously holds her crying baby and exchanges a look with Chad ... Rafe makes light of the situation to Jen lest she worry or tip off Ben, whom he is now investigating. He admits he tracked Ben and Abigail to Mammoth Falls. Jen insists on going with him ... Chad humors Ben and calmly claims he is not here to harm anyone. Ben rages he is aware how he and Abi cheated in the DiMera rose bushes! Chad counters it was no contest cos Ben won. He got the girl and the baby. He hopes the premature infant has seen a doctor. Ben shouts SHUT UP! He is defensive about being questioned as a dad. Chad also asks about Abigail, who has just given birth. Ben bellows Chad ruined everything! He is still holding his gun with steely resolve, his eyes hateful and hollow ... Rafe explains to jumpy Jen that the roads to Mammoth Falls are presently impassable due to the snowstorm. It is bad enough Chad drove into the storm, never to be heard from since. He assures Jen he is in touch with the local authorities and will contact her when the roads clear. He acts like he is just trying to check on the young couple who are stranded ... Ben orders Chad to close the door so he does just that, then urges him to let the baby and the woman Ben loves go, not take out his anger on them. Ben forces fatigued Abigail to hand him the baby. He rants about removing both Chad and Abi from his life forever. Ben's fury about their connection is making him more crazy by the minute ... The baby cries. Ben coos daddy is here. Abi cries. Chad takes it all in, wondering when to make his move ... Ben bellows his baby should not know about his lying slut mama and the man who ruined their happy little family! He leers he can leave with him and start a new life. He can disappear forever and no one will ever find them. Chad replies he is WRONG about that ... Belle is at the dark park. She soon finds herself face to face not with Sami, bit with an old school friend who explains she is Sami's CPA. Originally EJ used her to set up his own offshore account. Belle sighs she needs to speak with her sister. She needs to know why she put that new offshore account in her name with all those millions! ... Hope heads to the station, where Rafe is trying to trace Chad's cell signal. He wonders what her opinion is of Ben Weston, then decides the detective should be taking time off given she just lost Bo. In fact it is justice for Bo that keeps her going. She informs Rafe she discovered their composite was a certain Dr. Malcolm from Wales. He was in Yucatan at the same time as Bo but has been in Salem for the last couple of days. It is suspiciously simple ... Hostess Julie happily pours Dr. Malcolm a cup of Earl Grey tea. Jen arrives and Julie steps into the foyer with her for a word. She seeks her assistance with a press release for the start of the new bed and breakfast but first she needs help uploading photos. Jen will show her an app ... Chad boldly points out to Ben that they are surrounded by a snowstorm and the cops are on their way. There is no escape. He smoothly suggests he cut a deal and get Clyde to help him with the money he needs for a good defense. Ben exclaims perfect papa Clyde is in prison. Chad notes he called attention to himself and that was why he was caught for his Florida felony. Clyde was a good father and Chad adds he knows Ben will also do right by his son. But the baby needs his mama ... Dr. Malcolm quietly reads an article on the end of Bo Brady ... Rafe is against Hope going after anyone. Too late! Hope is going ROGUE for REVENGE. She finds a recently uploaded photo online of the man they seek and he happens to be at Marton Mansion with Julie. Rafe wants her to go by the book and realizes anything will occur if he does not accompany her. He asks Officer Lani to drive to Mammoth Falls when she gets the all clear and departs with determined Hope ... Bewildered Belle is told that Sami had to flee suddenly with the kids and go into hiding. She needs her sister to watch over the money for a while. Belle fears she could be disbarred, then decides to adopt a wait and see approach with her absentee sister. The CPA swears her to secrecy. Belle still has no clue where all those millions Sami is hiding in HER name could have come from. Neither does the CPA as there were only numbered accounts ... Lani gets the call that the bypass is clear and starts for Mammoth Falls. JJ the trainee wonders where she is headed alone. Is it about his sister? She admits she is going to check on her and Ben, then mentions Chad DiMera going ahead. JJ gets a bad feeling and insists on coming with, police protocol be damned ... Ben leers Chad DiMera actually dares to lecture him! Chad innocently explains he wants them all to get out safely. As Abigail weakly watches, Chad claims the cops will continue to believe Aiden was the necktie killer - unless Ben calls attention to himself. If he harms any of them he will be caught and his son will see him as a monstrous killer. He advises him to do the right thing and put the gun down. This is his last chance ... Julie greets Hope and Rafe at her new B and B, somewhat surprised they are on official police business. Dr. Malcolm politely extends a hand to the new guests. Hope glares daggers and flashes her badge. The two cops escort him to the station to question him on a case ... Abigail begs Ben to do right by his baby and let them go. She now has her baby back in her arms. Ben starts to melt, then notices Chad staring at Abigail and gets a murderous look in his eye ... The town house is dimly lit and a warm fire makes it feel homey. Marlena leaves Sami another phone message. She assures her daughter it is safe to call home for John made sure their lines were not tapped. She and John want to take care of her. The blonde pauses, and quietly adds she should also return all that money she stole from the DiMeras before someone gets hurt ... At the station, Hope does not hide her desire for revenge. It worries Rafe enough to keep an eye on her. Dr. Malcolm awaits in an interrogation room. He innocently explains he was considering retiring in Salem, hence his trip here. Hope accuses him of being involved with Claudia and Bo and demands the name of the one who hired him ... Back at the cabin from hell Ben starts to have a meltdown about the future he wanted, which is now too late. Abigail insists he has a future with his son and tells him to make the right decision. Ben thunders do not walk out on him! Chad sees he is distracted and tries to make his move. They struggle for the gun but Ben knocks him out as Chad was still weak from his coma. Abigail looks on in horror and cries as Ben ropes Chad and starts to SAVAGELY strangle him ... Belle gets back to the town house. Marlena notes she is not herself. Belle claims she can handle her own problems and heads for bed ... Jen remembers the last time she talked to Abigail on the phone, her complaint about Ben behaving strangely like he needed Chad to be the necktie killer ... Back at the cabin, Abigail cries noooooo as Ben attempts to strangle the life out of Chad ... Hope talks tough with the uncommunicative doctor. She knows for a fact he was connected to her dead husband whose condition went untreated, not to mention the girl who lost a thumb! The dastardly doctor decides he cannot help her. Hope attacks him so Rafe pulls her off and offers the good doctor a cup of coffee after assuring him they have but a few questions. He will take it with cream and sugar from the good cop, who departs for the coffee. That leaves the doctor alone with vigilante Hope, who tells him to start talking. She engages in a deadly game of Russian roulette until Rafe returns. Malcolm hyperventilates in horror. Rafe stares in disbelief. But Hope is just getting started ... THE END!
