There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Kate criticizes Theresa as the models trying on her designs do not look like perfects tens. There are even crooked seams! Anne defends her and declares they have not slept in days. Theresa argues but boss lady Kate announces she is OUT for she has not met the deadline ... Hope arrives at the station in time to overhear Rafe ordering Lani to look into Malcolm's burner phones further. All those numbers on them need to be checked out. Hope asks for an update on the case. Rafe says he can say nothing for she is the main murder suspect. Hope thanks him for being on her side and hands him a box of peanut brittle for Christmas even though it is rather late. He laughs when she notes it reminded her of a stakeout they were on. He feels badly he has no late gift for her. Hope believes he has given her the greatest gift. She is grateful he has her back and places her hands on his strong chest ... At the DiMera mansion, suited somber Stefano feels the future is dire for the DiMeras. He says so after a call with the private investigators on the missing money case. All may have been lost. He casts Andre an accusing stare. Andre insists he was justified in doing wot he did to Chad but father is feeling fatalistic ... Chad is tossing and turning in his hotel bed. Belle arrives and the shirtless one opens the door with a grin. She gets right down to business and snappily states he has no case against the D.A. Their proof gave them cause to arrest him even though it had been planted, as was later revealed. He flirts furiously and she accuses him of trying to get closer to her. He does not deny it and gives her a kiss on her colorful lips. Then he continues to flirt, questioning why she is here when she claims to be committed to another ... Abigail arrives at Marlena's home, imploring her to explain what she did to Chad. He has turned his back on her since their session. Marlena swears the girl to secrecy, then updates her on Sami stealing the DiMera fortune, Andre likely being the one who rendered her unconscious with chloroform while she was in that session with Chad. She suspects they thought she knew Sami's whereabouts. Abigail suspects Andre may have even taken advantage of Chad's hypnotic state to make him go after Belle for information. Marlena points out that is possible. Abigail asks how to get it reversed. Marlena muses Chad would have to agree to being hypnotized again. Abigail is intrigued ... Belle resists Chad's charms and coolly departs. He could feel the female was flustered and grins ... Lani returns and informs Rafe the phone numbers were all disconnected. Hope pretends to take a call of her own but lurks nearby. listening. Rafe instructs the new detective to try and find out from the Mexican authorities what Malcolm may have been up to while down there. She goes and Hope asks Rafe for a favor - one that will temporarily take him out of his office ... Theresa cries crocodile tears at the park and is inconsolable. She cries on Anne's shoulder, but the bff makes her believe enough to at least return to the venue ... Meanwhile Kate cannot get an extra designer even from her contact Donatella VERSACE. Nicole offers to fix it. Diva Kate waltzes off. The designers will be arriving by noon ... Hope lies she would like to give the department a case of peanut brittle from her car and asks Rafe to fetch it for her. She hands him her keys and he leaves without hesitation. Hope immediately opens the top file in his drawer and takes pictures of every single page. When Rafe comes back with the case, wondering about her plan, she thanks him profusely and departs. Rafe sits down to look at the file and glances over his shoulder as though he had made it easy to find for his friend ... Andre places his powerful hand on Stefano's, dramatically declaring they shall overcome as they always do. Stefano once more suggests this could be the end for the DiMeras and sighs he is tired. He does not even seem interested in his chess game. Andre gets a worried look in his evil eye ... Abigail is back home with baby Thomas and talks to him about Chad still loving them both. She puts him in his bassinet and notices he is somewhat silent. Then she touches him and panics the baby is too WARM ... Theresa is standing at the stage where the fashion show will soon take place. She daydreams of being the star celebrated designer and comes back to reality when she realizes Brady and Nicole are standing there clapping. Brady tries to talk her into staying and trying. He tells her the girl he fell in love with is no quitter. Theresa asks if he really loves her. He grins he does. He finally figured it out. She gushes she loves him too and they get back to kissing. Still she wants to leave, since she feels her designs have to many faults to be fixed ... Nicole catches up with Kate at the square and states she has a designer. Kate replies she has a replacement and scoffs at Theresa's knockoffs. Nicole notes she does need help fixing things but she has talent. Besides, in their business they must present a united front. Kate pulls rank and pouts NO. Then she waltzes off ... Hypno Chad heads to DiMera mansion searching for Stefano. Andre informs him father is fatigued and scoffs he is not succeeding with Belle as he still loves Abigail. Chad denies the charge and also denies letting the family down. He did his best. Andre alludes to the DiMera name being the problem for Belle. Perhaps he should drop it ... Belle arrives at Marlena's and looks through the mail. She opens an envelope and starts to cry, explaining to her mystified mother that Shawn has petitioned for a divorce. Marlena sympathetically holds her devastated daughter close ... Back at the station Rafe discusses the cold trail with Lani ... Meanwhile Hope is at her house, on the phone with a contact about the phone numbers. She learns they never existed and deduces this is the mark of the devil at the exact moment Rafe comes to the same conclusion. Malcolm must have been the hire of that murderous MASTERMIND STEFANO DIMERA! THE END! |
