There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At the Kiriakis mansion grumpy Victor is with smiling Maggie, Justin and Phillip. Parker and Dan are said to be in Chicago. Slick Phillip has an impressive gift for his father - the papers acquiring Manchester Industries. But Justin's gift has more thought. He gives the Greek a copy of Agamemnon translated, from Paris via Sonny! Brady arrives with a smile and a Santa hat on little man Tate. Tis the season ... Theresa is all alone trying to perfect her fashion line in time for the show. Caroline arrives with a pep talk and breakfast. Theresa is stressed about not succeeding ...Meanwhile at DiMera mansion Andre has given fatha a figurine of the goddess of fortune. Not much seems to make Stefano smile anymore. All of a sudden Abigail bursts in bellowing about the fact that they either blackmailed Chad or did something DiMera-esque to him for he is not himself ... Kayla is not pleased with Steve for coming home at 2 a.m. last night. He confesses he was with Ava and concludes they should forgive her. He did. Kayla is furious and refuses to forgive her for causing the death of her father. Steve understands but points out the past can ruin the future if one lets it. He has been giving a great deal of thought to future planning. According to a flashback, Ava had assured Steve she was after forgiveness as there was nothing lonelier than evil ...Back to the present. Kayla calls her a liar ... Caroline goes when her ride with Roman arrives and surprises Theresa by telling her she is now staying at the mansion with Victor and Maggie ... Andre muses Abigail is paranoid. She persists. Chad appears and informs her he is lucid and making all his own decisions ... Phillip is peeved when Brady brightens Victor's day with an antique coin from the old country. The Greek gushes his father had one just like it that ended up lost. Benevolent Brady hopes it will bring him good luck. Phillip glowers. Enter Caroline. Maggie is about to show her to her room but Victor wants to do the honors. Phillip brings up the serum. Victor snaps not now. Once outside the living room, Caroline reminds him of her vision. He retorts he already had his heart checked out so there is no cause for concern ... Patch continues to preach the power of forgiveness. Kayla sighs she will give it some thought but is making no promises. Joey emerges, excited about the presents under the tree ... Abigail demands a moment alone with Chad. Andre gets sarcastic. Chad agrees so Andre exits with Stefano. They wish her a merry Christmas and happy new year, their voices oozing sarcasm. Chad numbly notes no one is telling him what to do. Abigail gushes she knows he still loves her, gives him a passionate kiss and he kisses her right back ... Caroline and Victor are back in the living room with Maggie, who offers to make coffee. Caroline complains about the sadness of midnight mass without Bo, how poor Ciara cried. The matriarch gets emotional and excuses herself ... Phillip cannot contain himself. He bothers Brady and Justin with the importance of fast tracking the serum but Victor disagrees. Until it can be determined what is really causing Caroline's visions they must be careful. It is a slow process requiring research. Phillip frowns ... Chad pulls away from Abigail and accuses her of embarrassing her sorry self. He denounces her for choosing Ben and having his baby, declares his love for her is dead, and threatens her with a restraining order. Abigail smacks him across the face ... Steve presents Kayla with a wedding ring and asks her to marry him. Joey notes the ring looks odd. He admits he had it made from the bullet that almost killed him in Stockholm and brought them together. Kayla would rather not remember those dangerous days ... Theresa the future fashion designer starts to doubt her designs and wonders whether Kate was right about her failing ... Caroline informs Brady how stressed and fatigued Theresa was when she saw her. He hugs her and goes on his way to do something about that ... Phillip boasts to Victor about the Asian markets but Victor mutters no business today ... Kayla admits she fears losing Steve again and suggests they take it slow. He leaves with Joe to show him his gift ... Abigail insists she will never give up on the man she knows is still in there, the man who loves her. When she walks out, Chad has a look at the key she has given him ... Brady surprises hard working Theresa with words of encouragement as well as a locket with Tate's picture. She is touched he believes in her and they share a KISS ... At the hospital the kids are waiting. Santa cannot make it so Justin steps up. Phillip helps him get suited up as Maggie reads the kids the Christmas story. Abigail is alone holding her baby ...Steve presents Joe with the bike that he and the legendary Bo Brady worked on together. Dude is done riding without Bo and wants his son to carry on the tradition as soon as he gets his motorbike license. Joe is over the moon ... Kayla cannot forget Steve's words of wisdom and pays Ava Vitali an unexpected visit. Ava is filled with hope. Kayla announces that for Steve's sake she will try to forgive her but she will be watching the mafia princess like a hawk ... Andre orders Chad not to be fooled by the female and to put la familia first ... Abigail cannot help but notice Marlena's files nearby where she is standing at the nurse's station ... Steve and Joe join the group at the hospital. Victor gives Maggie a kiss. Santa Justin delights the children. As everyone sings Away in a manger, Kayla makes for her office, followed by Steve, who is followed by Joey. She updates him on trying to forgive Ava and flashes his ring, which she is now wearing. Joey is thrilled. Steve loooooves his sweetness and they all have a family hug ... Phillip hands Caroline a Christmas box. She takes it and has another terrible vision of Victor after his heart attack, this time with Phillip standing there ... Ava is all alone in her room. She opens an old photo album to a baby picture and weeps for what has been lost to her ... THE END! |
