There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Adrienne runs into Lucas outside the club and talks the way she usually does about the latest. It is certainly news to Lucas that Will is back in town with Ari! Inside, Sonny woefully reads his latest text to Will about hoping he is not working too hard, wanting to talk Meanwhile Will has arrived at Pauls hotel room door. Paul has just gotten out of the shower and opens the door, shirtless. He had assumed Will was the room service he had been expecting. Will introduces himself Nicole is ready to storm into the pub to meet Salems new mystery woman, until Marlena stops her with a smile As they confer at their pub table, Eric confesses to beautiful Serena how complicated life has been, leading to his hesitation. She deduces he is referring to Nicole. Outside Marlena sweetly stammers she was hoping to join Nicole. Nicole senses something, then realizes Marlena knows the woman with Eric. The whole family does evidently At the hospital, Brady lays down the law to Madame Milbauer. Do not mess with Mel and keep this workplace drama free. Meanwhile Mel is raging at Theresa the terrible for faking a pregnancy to dupe Brady Nicole really wants to know who that girl is, so Marlena drags her off to tell her Theresa screams to shut up and starts to struggle with Mel again. The catty commotion is heard until ... here comes Brady to the rescue again! He breaks it up. Theresa claims Mel is to blame. Mel begs to differ. Brady wants Mel to go. Once they are alone, he turns on Theresa. She feels sorry for herself and is upset about all that has been happening. Brady growls he does not give a damn. She suggests he leave her alone Brady goes back to Mel. Mel says Theresa is terrible! Brady ushers her out to discuss Lucas is positively peeved Will did not bother to contact him, send a text that he was home. Adrienne now enters the club and sighs to Sonny she may have spoken to soon. Perhaps Will had wanted to surprise Lucas. Sonny sighs Will been busy, and he has not even had the chance to talk to him about the new club ... Adrienne has already spoken to Justin and they can bail Sonny out of his latest problems with a check if need be. Sonny insists it is not necessary. All he really needs is to talk to Will Paul buttons up his blue dress shirt and praises Will's work. He admits he actually requested him for this article! He adds he is surprised by how young he is and grins slyly Lucas comes into the club and joins Adrienne at her table. He asks hovering solemn Sonny about his son's schedule. He is not sure yet. Lucas laments Sami is worried cos she has not heard from him. He was extremely upset about being FIRED from Hollywood! This is news to Sonny, who plays it with a straight face Will has his mini recorder ready. Paul had assumed the writer would want to research first. Will the professional points out he did not want to be influenced by what had already been written. He would rather take a fresh approach. Paul charmingly plays along Marlena walks Nicole all the way to the park, where she wonders why Nicole cares so much about that girl she saw Eric with Eric wishes Nicole meant nothing to him. Serena is sympathetic. Sometimes it is hard to bury feelings Eric confesses his rage continues to grow. Serena thinks that is understandable, given how Nicole lied to prevent him from returning to the priesthood. Eric notes not her, she stepped aside when he wanted to be a priest. He is remorseful about breaking her noble heart. Serena does not get where Nicole fits in Brady takes mad Mel to square for an announcement. He officially got her her job back. Mel exclaims thank you! Brady has a request. He urges her to tone it down at the workplace. He said the same to Theresa and feels she will pose less of a problem, especially if she is not provoked. Mel pouts alright and points out there is no need for Dan to know about the melodrama Back at the hospital, Theresa feels all alone and lashes out at Anne for making things worse. Now Brady hates her! Anne notes he already did Preppy Will gets Paul to pleasantly open up about his Japanese roots, his early introduction to the game of baseball ... Will now asks about his shoulder surgery, whom he told. Paul told no teammates and claims pitchers are loners. His agent calls so Will agrees to end it for the day. Now he can begin his research. Paul asks what kind of an impression he made. Will thinks Paul is a man who is comfortable in his own skin. Paul the player laughs it is only an act. They shake hands but Paul holds his hand longer than propriety would dictate. Will gets his hand back, politely departs, and puts his wedding ring back on. Sonny soon gets a call from Will, who is ready to come to the club. Sonny says stay at the park, he is on his way! Lucas suspiciously suggests Adrienne bring him up to speed Marlena insists Nicole and Eric are finished .... Eric feels rage that he cannot forgive Nicole and rage for being such a man. Prayer has not helped ... On some level, he actually hates the world! Serena blames the beeches he had the bad luck to get involved with. Punching a bag might relieve the frustration. Eric has doubts about being able to love again. He could not bear to hurt Serena like he did in the past Theresa is upset Anne's scheme backfired but ON HER! And Brady is now Mel's protector. She cries he hates her! Anne reminds Theresa why he has every reason to hate her. Theresa sniffles and pities herself even more Meanwhile Brady advises Mel to avoid Theresa. Mel agrees but warns she will never forget what she did to Dan or Brady! Derek the bellhop has brought room service to Pauls room. He gives him a coy look and lets him know he is here. All he has to do is call if he needs ANYTHING. Paul flirts and chuckles he is fine. For now. After Derek departs, he gets on the phone with his grandfather in Japanese Will and Sonny meet at the park. Will pereives something is the matter. Sonny accuses him of lying. He did not come home cos he missed him. He was FIRED Theresa cannot bear the way she feels! Her bff tells her not to be so affected ... She is upset mostly about Brady Mel grumbles Theresa lied about being preggers. Brady believes she really thought she was, however Adrienne updates intently listening Lucas on Chad and his deceitful DiMera ways. Questions remain about Stefanos influence. Lucas lets her know he has been hearing strange things from Sami as well Lucas now gets an urgent text from Sami NOT to tell Sonny that Will got fired. OOPS Sonny does not let Will deny it cos he heard the intel directly from Lucas! Will woefully complains about the Hollywood heavies hating his work all the while secretly using another writer. Sonny is only upset that Will did not think to tell his husband Marlena suggests Nicole stop stalking Eric. Nicole angrily denies she cares about him anyway. Marlena walks off and Nicoles thoughts turn to Dan. She decides to tell him her news, that she is NOT rebounding over Eric Serena giggles the only thing that changed about Eric are his looks, which got better. Otherwise he is the same good man she knew once upon a time in Africa. She softly suggests there are possibilities, they can go slowly. Eric marvels he did love her deeply... She hopes one day he will love again ... So does he and he says as much. Serena concludes Eric is worth the fight and thus ends their conversation. Eric appears smitten. Still Back at the square, Brady wants Mel to stop saying she used to be like Theresa Meanwhile Theresa decides to go hunting for her MIA sports star, her ticket out. She will avoid Mel but if she bugs her again she will regret it Paul switches to English when his mother takes the phone. He is hoping she and grandfather will be able to come to Salem for Christmas ... Sonny is still smarting that Will only called him three short times to talk about Hollywood the great. He feared he would not return, that he would choose Lala land over him. Will reminds him he had invited him to accompany him. Sonny snaps now he will never know whether he would have chosen the glamorous life over him as the choice was made for him! Will is unable to stop him from storming off Nicole heads to the hospital to find Dr. Dan. She learns he is on a consult and then bumps into Serena, who says sorry and peers at her with a pair of pretty blue eyes. Nicole braces herself for the BATTLE THE END! Ahead on Days: Chad is going to feel the pressure! Eric is onto Nicole. |
