There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Hope and Aiden make love in their hotel room … Sonny is at the park, trying to talk to Will on his telephone about the new club situation. Easier said than done. Will is busy at the pub and ends the call for his power meeting. Sonny sighs. Meanwhile at the pub Zoe introduces the young writer to the publisher of Sonics. They have a lucrative offer for Will so long as he agrees to certain TERMS … Paul catches up with Sonny at the deserted park. He perceives he is preoccupied and wonders why he failed to call him back last night. He knows something was up … Nicole is ready for a kiss chez Dan. He pulls back and points out their new motto is friends first - lest she forget ... Eric, on the other hand, gives into temptation and shares a tender kiss with Serena … Back at the hospital, Anne repeats Mel never starts working here again. Mel reasons they need nurses and she is qualified. Anne states it is too late and she never received any records from the UK. Mel can call London. Still too late! Theresa cannot conceal her glee. Anne explains she has implemented a nursing hiring freeze. Theresa taunts her flabbergasted rival. Enter Brady the hero … Eric feels kissing Serena is natural. She gushes she is so glad she came to Salem ... Pragmatic Dan cannot predict the future. He refuses to be Nicole’s rebound … Theresa lies that Mel the wannabe redhead was bothering HR head Anne. Mel the real redhead is ready to explode! Brady holds her back. He requests a moment with Milbauer and urges Mel not to let the pair provoke her … Dan and Nicole discuss their non-relationship and how she too has traveled down that rebound road. She exclaims she does not intend to be his rebound either … Visitor Roman interrupts Eric and Serena’s almost heart to heart. He is thrilled to see Serena in Salem. She has to go but agrees they will all dine soon. At the door, she and Eric quietly agree to meet at the pub for that looong talk. Roman is delighted … Brady asks Mel to leave for a while and let him fix things. He knows Anne is playing games… Aiden and Hope are slooooowly making love as the background singer moans in rapture … Will is informed of a top secret article that is going to explode! The publisher pauses when he hears Will and Sonny are wed. He suggests he keep anything personal out of this story. Zoe advises Will to pretend he is separated, keep things neutral … Back at the park bench, Sonny insists he is fine though he now regrets calling Paul. Paul gushes he is glad he did cos it felt like old times. Not for Sonny, though … Will has been sworn to secrecy. He s going to do a BIG story on baseball star Paul Norita for Sonics … Sonny says the past is past but Paul can still be happy and live his life. Paul sadly states when he lost Sonny, he lost any chance at happiness… Hope and Aiden pillow talk. She promises to respect his privacy about the past, just as he stays away from the topic of Bo, and they kiss in bliss … Board member Brady stares down Madame Milbauer. He knows for a fact that hiring freeze was not slated to start until the end of January. He accuses her of making this personal … Dan and Nicole decide to keep things simple. They continue to fight the feeling and she departs … Eric reminds Roman he broke Serena’s heart and she moved on. Roman believes her unexpected arrival in Salem is the sign his son has been waiting for … Mel and Serena catch up at the club. Tis a gathering of the redheads! Mel teases her about Eric, as she had no idea they were an item once upon a time. Serena blushes … Aiden assures Hope that he is not attempting to replace BO. He wants them to have their own special thing … They get back to kissing … Brady barks at Anne to explain herself to the hospital director OR give Mel a fair chance. Theresa bangs files in the background to show her displeasure … Sitting on a park bench, Nicole the reporter is trying to get a story ready. Some of her papers scatter and she picks them up. Among them she finds an old church announcement. It reminds her of the old days with Eric … Dan gets introduced to Serena and asks Mel about her hospital visit. Serena gushes she has heard of the amazing Dan. Mel is visibly relieved she does not have to answer her father’s question … Anne relents and agrees to give Mel a chance. Brady turns his attention to Theresa and storms after her, demanding an explanation. Theresa shouts in protest. Brady advises her to stop the schemes. She snaps Mel is just a skinny beech. Brady bellows he would side with Mel against her any day … Serena explains Eric told her how much Dan the medicine man helped him … Will wonders why the writer who did the first story about Paul the baseball star was not given this assignment as well. Zoe slyly says to just read the info and call Paul, he is expecting to hear from him. She gives him his number … Sonny suspects Paul is playing him like he plays all those women and walks away. Paul’s face falls. He was not playing this time ... Hope and Aiden get dressed. She has to go first. He will stay and make some calls. He praises her for believing in him and gives her another romantic kiss … Exit happy Hope. Aiden now gets a cold look in his eye … Nicole flashes back to Eric claiming he would never forgive her for her betrayal. She suddenly decides Dan needs to know she is not in rebound mode and goes to tell him … Woman on the go Serena gets a call and must take her leave. Mel teases she has more questions about Eric … Brady sternly warns Theresa not to mess with Dan or Jen or Mel cos then she will have to deal with HIM. Theresa’s pretty eyes widen with hurt … Roman runs into shopping Hope at the town square. He notes she seems pretty happy. He lets her know he supports her decision to move on with her life … Aiden places a call to Bree. She is surprised and spooked to hear from him. He leers he knows what she did and she is getting ONE warning. If she calls Hope again, he is gonna come after her and she knows what he is capable of. Click! ... Sonny gets back to his club. He is handed a message Will left about running late due to work tonight and sighs. Meanwhile Will the ambitious writer calls Paul. He had been expecting to hear from the Sonics writer. However, they must meet in secret. How about NOW at his room at the Salem Inn. His code name is George Herman, just like Babe Ruth … Will remembers his boss’ request that he seem single and unsuspectingly removes his wedding ring … Eric and Serena sit at a pub table, making eyes at each other. The fallen father wants them to be honest about feelings and what she can expect ... Nicole stops outside the window, spies the pair, and decides to find out who that girl is … Theresa starts to scream at Brady, still smarting from the hospital gossip that she faked her pregnancy with him. She orders him to go cos they are done! Brady obliges with a scowl. Seconds later, Mel storms in. The real redhead overheard everything and the fight is ON! THE END! Ahead on Days: Serena finds out about Nicole. Sonny demands answers from Will. |
