There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At their happy new home, Brady is bothered by the sound of his infant son crying. Theresa, who has just fed and changed him, suggests they let him soothe himself in the new place, as the pediatrician suggested. New dad Brady decides she was right when Tate stops crying. Theresa gets flirty. They continue to unpack boxes together. She admits they have no food and smiles John and Marlena their new neighbors do! Brady has just unpacked his fondue pot from an almost wedding and now whips out the keys he has to John and Marlena's town home. Theresa smiles slyly and mischief is born ... Post-movie at the town square, JJ and Gabi are still carrying their popcorn. The mood is light as they let each other know their favorite films. She likes Citizen Kane. JJ gets into character and mutters "Rosebud." Gabi giggles ... Phillip and Belle are surprised to see each other. He finds out she and Shawn of Maine fame are on a break. They shoot hoops and she wins. That is, he seems to let her win a while. She gets sarcastic about him taking Brady's job. Phillip insists it was his father's idea and adds he is worried about him. Belle senses he is keeping something from her and it feels like old times when they were man and wife ... Abigail is at the hospital with Chad. The baby is staying for the night as a precaution. Abigail wants to wait all night. Chad has a better idea and whisks her away to a nearby room at the Salem Inn. He offers to stay awake while she sleeps. Abigail is still smarting and feeling unsafe. He intends to let her sleep but she wants him to stay here with her. She gives him a look of longing and he kisses her. The hot kiss continues as they lie in the bed. Then he pulls back, out of breath, gasping he has to take care of her given what she went through, from the childbirth to the cabin drama. She agrees she is not back yet. Chad assures her she is still herself as tender music plays in the background. She survived for herself and her son and he praises her for it. Abigail breaks down in tears, then takes a deep breath and holds his hand, smiling she got by with a little help from her friend. His friendship is as precious to her as everything else. She yawns with a sorry and he suggests she rest, tenderly telling her he will tuck her in. Abigail gushes she feels safe. Their eyes lock ... Theresa and Brady enjoy fondue with the cheese they stole from John and Marlena's well stocked ... kitchen. Theresa feels inspired by their new drapes and starts to sketch. Brady encourages her. She suddenly stops, seeing how disappointed he is about losing his lucrative and powerful position at Titan. Theresa announces she is to blame for coming between him and Victor and suggests he go home. But Brady insists he is happy here with her and their son. She tries to assure him Phillip is not as bad as she once was so Victor is in safe hands. However, Brady believes otherwise. He notes she changed whereas Phillip has not changed and shows no remorse ... Belle plays Phillip's game and gets he is up to his old tricks when he tries to change the subject. He avoids answering any of her questions about himself. He asks about her and Shawn again. She admits as a lawyer she always wins, unlike her relationships. When he drops a coin, she picks it up ... Brady romantically reminds Theresa how happy he is to be with her and she kisses him. Things get hot and heavy as they disrobe. They slowly come together as a sexy shadow ... JJ and Gabi pause at the famous Horton plaque. JJ jokingly points out how many times he broke the rules in this illustrious place in spite of his Horton roots. But that was then this is now and now he is committed to becoming a cop. Gabi can relate and reasons she has her own checkered past. She realizes JJ feels badly about Paige. He mutters he made her life hell when all along he knew she was out of his league. Gabi laments Will was also out of her league. JJ quickly corrects her cos that was different as Will did not know who he was when he was with her. She sighs Chad was out of her league and not the best prospect. JJ tells her what he thinks of the DiMera he refers to as a sleaze. They feel more and more comfortable together so Gabi confides she sometimes worries she is letting down big brother Rafe, who has been there for her forever. JJ chuckles about all they have in common. He feels like he lets down everyone in his family. They both agree it is good to be dating unseriously ... Belle asks about the coin. Phillip solemnly states it is a challenge coin he was given from the Marines but will not share more except that it brings him luck ... Abigail has fallen asleep in Chad's protective arms. But Ben invades her dreams with nightmarish images of his murderous ways and the burning cabin where she was trapped with her hero Chad. She sits up with a start. Chad holds her in his arms, assuring her that is not her reality. Her reality is that Thomas is doing well at the hospital, Ben is gone for good, and he is here with her. He holds her close ... Belle sarcastically states the coin explains why he can always beat her at basketball when he tries. Phillip impulsively asks her out. Belle the level-headed lawyer turns him down and tells him he is evidently focused on his career, while she has to figure out her life. He looks disappointed. Belle acts aloof ... Chad starts to tell Abigail silly fairytales he makes up to get her mind off the bad memories. It works and she laughs. He promises her they will reach their happily ever after and she smiles she hopes it takes a loooong time. Chad kisses her head and gets a tear in his eye. As they snuggle a romantic song starts to play ... Phillip woefully watches Belle demurely disappear from view ... Brady and Theresa make love in front of their luxurious fireplace ... Gabi and JJ get cutely close at the now illuminated town gate and share a sweet kiss ... Back in the big bed, Abigail has fallen asleep in Chad's arms. He shuts his eyes and the song ends as the sun comes up, bringing forth a new day ... THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Hope gets arrested! Ciara finds out what Theo was has been hiding. Andre demands Chad put family first. Thomas is in fine form. |
