There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Kayla and Steve continue their candid conversation. Steve simply cannot believe their teen son Joe was able to push them together on his own. Kayla notes the flowers and more were the touch of a woman. Steve notes someone could be playing their son. However, he seems distracted by her nearness and starts to seduce his sweetness into a romantic and real reconciliation. Kayla gives in and a HOT kiss ensues. The clothes come off and the pair give into their passion ... It is cold outside. Anne meets Theresa at the dark park. Shivering Theresa complains about the cold. Anne is actually late on purpose and announces she passed the test of waiting in the winter. Therefore, they can be bffs again. She can even stay with Tate at her place like she asked. But things have changed since then. Theresa gushes about Brady getting the townhouse and moving in wither and Tate. Anne warns her it will all go to hell soon. It always does. Theresa gets defensive about her gloom and doom ... The Kiriakis mansion is quiet. Brady would like to bid goodbye to Victor before taking off to live with Theresa and Tate. He finds him in the ornate living room with corporate Phillip, who is discussing the payoff of a big gamble in business. Phillip does not like to play by the rules. Brady finds out he is his replacement. Maggie is said to be sleeping so he cannot say goodbye as he had hoped. Victor boasts about his son staying under his roof for the night. Brady the replaced one politely welcomes Phillip back to town. They shake hands and he silently leaves. Victor updates his son on Theresa the terrible coming between them, Brady's bad choices. Phillip follows Brady to the door and suggests they grab a cup of coffee together and have a much needed chat. Brady thinks that is a good idea ... Ava Vitali is with clueless Joey at the park, acting sweet as honey. He still believes she simply wants his parents together to make up for some past mischief on her part. Joey makes the mistake of believing in the mafia princess who contacted him first ... Theresa tells Anne how much she has changed due to her baby and new career. They confer at the square with coffee. Annie would like advice on changing her own empty life. She becomes offended when her former flunky offers to hire her as her assistant at Basic Black. Theresa talks glamour and high fashion. The HR diva snaps about the skinny models. It is when new improved Theresa mentions handsome men and a good salary that Annie starts to change her tune ... At the pub, Caroline gets a piece of pie for Phillip and Brady, for she feels they are too skinny. They sit together and agree there are no hard feelings between them. Brady, however, fears arrogant Phil is not going to be as legit as he was with the family business, given what he overheard earlier. Phillip insists he is all for Titan profits and believes the drug Victor discovered should be fast tracked no matter how, for it can make people see the future ... Ava announces to Joey that she should take her plan to the next step alone. She smiles slyly ... Back at the pub, Phillip is not in the least bit interested when Brady reasons Victor never wanted the untried miracle drug to get too much attention. The heir apparent arrogantly advises Brady to move on, leave the family business to him and Victor. He even believes he will be able to spin their miracle ESP drug to the DEA. So he says ... After the lovin, shirtless Steve snuggles with Kayla in bed and emotionally apologizes for all the years he was away. He asks to move in so they can be a family again. Kayla gets out of bed again. For her things feel fragile at best. Steve now finds out how hard the years were for her without him and hopes he got back in time ... Joey is not pleased about being dropped. He cannot make any promises to Ava about not mentioning her name to his parents. She coos and convinces him to let her handle this, then gives him a kiss on the cheek. The sixteen year old leaves her believing nothing bad will befall his parents ... Brady arrives at the large townhouse that is already full of boxes. Anne is there too with Theresa, gushing about her new Basic Black job. Theresa tells her she will check with Kate and Nicole of course. Once they are alone, Brady grimaces she actually gave her a job???? ...At the Kiriakis mansion, Maggie sweetly serves Victor herbal tea. He updates her on Caroline's vision of his death. She told him about it tonight. Maggie is utterly aghast as such a vision did not prevent Bo's death. Victor, however, calmly claims it could help him make better choices so as to avoid the death she foresaw. He also feels her visions should be encouraged and excuses himself to check on Caroline. Maggie sighs in exasperation. It is always about Caroline! When Phillip returns and she broaches the subject of Brady, he becomes belligerent. He insists Brady made his own bad decisions. Phillip is now a power hungry young buck ready for corporate battle ... Steve and Kayla have a heart to heart. They admit how they only wanted one another all those years and kiss in bliss. Kayla decides the time has come for a leap of faith and holds out a house key. She welcomes home her one and only. Steve is touched ... Theresa gets worried. She hopes Brady does not mind her hiring Anne. Pause. He sighs something else is bothering him. Victor has been making bad decisions. She wonders whether he regrets resigning. He insists he would rather live here with her and his son and watch him grow. They hug but Brady's eyes mirror his deepening doubt ... At the dark park Ava Vitali is standing alone with her coffee. She has a dangerous look in her eye ... Meanwhile, lovestruck Steve decides the time has come to take this magical moment to an even higher place. He romantically gets down on his knee and asks Kayla Brady, the only woman he has ever loved, to be his wife again. Will you marry me again? Kayla is close to tears ... THE END!
