There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... In the holy garden, an unholy scene continues. Nicole assumed Eric wanted to be a priest. He laments it is no longer his choice. The vocation is over! He is filled with blame and hatred and argues she changed him. Nicole angrily disagrees and argues he may not have been meant to have the vocation! He even accused her of being the one who assaulted him but they overcame when she forgave him! Eric cries. She cries she is more forgiving then him! Eric knows. And it shames him, it does. Eve is elated as she assumes Paige wants JJ to help. Paige explains she can help but not like that. She can put off Stanford for a year. Eve goes bonkers and screams and yells in disagreement. Pretty Paige patiently promises to take courses in Salem. It would save them much money, which they do not presently have in their possession. Eve insists the girl’s tuition to the famous faculty is her responsibility. Paige argues the attorneys could get expensive Besides, this way they would have more time to spend together. She can defer for the year. Eve gets even more irate, believing boyfriend JJ to be behind the idea. Paige pouts. The idea happened to be hers. JJ knows nothing about it. Eve gets sarcastic. Paige insists she is telling the truth. Eve has a doctor’s appointment. She argues her daughter aced high school, unlike her, and her future will be amazing. Nothing will prevent it! She is highly emotional, having put all her own hopes and dreams into her daughter and it shows on her face as she walks out. Jen is stunned to learn that JJ loves Paige. She wants to discuss! Why love is a wonderful thing and she loves him being in love! And Paige is a great girl! JJ notes her mother has that lawsuit against her mother, however. Jen makes light of the connection. One does not choose who one loves and she hopes he will be happy with Paige. JJ marvels at his wonderful mom and is sorry he ever caused trouble for her and Daniel. Jen assures him he was not the cause of their current issues. He sighs he is sorry he was the angry guy. She calls him a kid who morphed into a son and a man papa Jack would be proud of. Paige is a lucky girl! Mother and son embrace. Marlena stops Theresa at the club door. She is all shades of elegant today as she seeks an explanation of that fateful night John lost consciousness. Theresa insists she already has the facts but the blonde doubts it. Brady is tormented and she suspiciously senses Theresa knows why. Unfortunately, he has no memory of that night. Theresa airily explains she has no clue. Marlena hopes so for her sake! Brady approaches Aiden outside the pub and mentions what happened when they first met here. Aiden jokes he wanted to attack him and he hopes that is not going to be repeated. Brady is trying to make things right and undo his bad behavior, make it up ... Dan sleeps in the storage room and remembers the Kristen mess. He wakes up and captive Kristen starts to play her minds games, insisting Jen must have lied to him before, in an attempt to excuse herself. Dan disagrees, then clamps his large hand on her peeved mouth as she tries to cry out. The thugs are back in the hall! They have the medicine man’s phone, his car is still there, and are on the prowl! They discuss their decision to get backup. Kristen tries to talk tough a la DiMera. She hisses she will be even angrier when her henchmen find them and she knows they soon will succeed! Dan remains casually confident. She tells him to escape while he can. He retorts she is not merciful. She already had him tied up and attacked but even worse is what she did to Brady! She shall pay! Kristen hisses Dan the amateur will slip up, The thugs’ voices grow louder and he puts back the gag, ordering the prisoner to shhhhhhh. The time has come to take drastic action and so Dan soon moves his prisoner to a laundry truck. He ties her up, warning her not to scream when he removes the gag. If she does scream, she will only be discovered by the laundry drivers, who will call the cops. So any attempt to get their attention would be a lose lose situation for the wanted fugitive. This laundry truck will make many stops so the thugs will not know even where she went should they foolishly follow. Kristen defiantly reminds him of an important fact he forgot – her father is none other than Stefano DiMera! Dan is not in the least bit intimidated and proceeds to poke fun at the cupcake girl and her brother. They do not spook him one bit. He reminds her who is the prisoner in this laundry truck. She calls him an overconfident amateur. He counters she is a sociopathic beech. The truck lurches and they fall closer. Kristen taunts the doc about being hurt by Jen. She brings up Brady but Dan rages the time has come to discuss the dastardly deeds she did to ERIC. Marlena gets a call from Brady and promises to be right there. She has lost interest in Theresa’s tall tales. For now. Theresa heads for the hospital, where Madame Milbauer of HR infamy informs her of Abigail Devereaux’s recent resignation. But Theresa has other matters on her mind. Anne continues. There is something strange about this. Theresa still has no interest. Anne thinks something is fishy with her fair-weather friend. She has been acting strangely ever since John went comatose and even seemed gleeful he would not be waking up anytime soon! She demands to know why she is so stressed. Theresa informs her she annulled the marriage as Brady wanted and they are over anyway. The HR diva is even more suspicious! Theresa tells her to drop it. Marlena joins Brady in Dr. Kayla’s office at the hospital. The chief-of-staff sadly states there are decisions to be made. John ought to me moved to the chronic care wing, after which plans should be made. Marlena gasps in surprise. Kayla mentions long term care. Brady laments they are giving up on him. Marlena stares into space, bravely fighting back the tears. Brady refuses to give up and thinks the hospital should not either. Kayla offers to speak with the hospital administrator. Brady thanks her and gasps he must go. Marlena assures Kayla she believes in her and Dr. Dan … Kayla deduces she is interested in studying John’s files. She is glad she is there for him. Marlena admits the last few years have been hard. She did not fight John’s divorce but this is different. Now she is prepared to fight for the man she loves! Angry Eve appears at JJ’s door and it is about Paige! He hopes she is alright. The mad mama suggests her boyfriend prove he cares! *** Meanwhile Paige weeps at home alone. *** JJ is stunned to learn from Eve that Paige has suggested she defer Stanford for a year. The banshee in the background sings yeeeeeeeeeeeeeah. Eve advises JJ not to make an enemy of her. JJ does not appreciate the threat. She calls it a fact, cos she will not allow anyone to stand in her daughter’s way! The banshee howls Ooooooooooooooooo. JJ soap stares. The banshee continues to sing as Eve departs. JJ takes out his phone and the banshee sings yeeeeeeeah as he summons the girl of his dreams. Angry Eric is equally angry at himself for not being able to forgive. He is not the man he was and therefore no longer a man who can be a priest! Nicole gazes at him with heartfelt sorrow and sympathy. He gasps he must endure what he lost and now this hatred. She cries as he leaves her standing alone in the holy garden ... Aiden is at the pub, relieved the gala is done. He reads a note of gratitude from Father Luis about the most excellent event. Now he dreamily flashes back to his romantic dance with sultry Hope … Client Jen joins him and teases he looks like he was lost somewhere. He grins and denies it, still blushing. The lawyer talks trial. It could be long, drawn out, and is Jen really ready? Jen concludes Eve assumes she will withdraw to spare her kids the stress. Jen is miffed. She will not cave! Aiden advises her to get some emotional support from Dan. She quips she will not go there. Aiden adds he is here as her attorney and also her friend. She appreciates it … Kristen’s ropes seem to have loosened somewhat . Dan drawls Eric lost his priestly position and it is all her fault. He calls her despicable, then gets dangerously close and orders her to confess she ruined Eric’s life. She blurts out it is true and hopes he is happy! It has not been easy for her to live with the knowledge that she did a horrible thing to Eric the good. Dan notes Eric is suffering more. The hellcat sighs she feels badly as he was good to her. Dan gets sarcastic. Kristen explains she was really just lashing out after losing Brady. It was against Marlena, who stole both John and Brady from her. She was out to destroy Marlena by destroying her son. And there is more … JJ summons Paige to the house to tell her he loves her. She feels the same way. He admits he hates the thought of her going away to California in two weeks. However, he agrees with her mother, that she should seize the opportunity she has been given. Paige points out it is her decision to make and she has made up her mind. She stays in Salem! Eve runs into Brady at the hospital, flirts, and offers to be his confidante. Brady blinks. She touches him and coyly suggests he make friends with her to get things off his … chest. Theresa appears and glares daggers at her. This means WAR. Nicole is all alone on the plane back to Salem. A woman two seats away refers to romantic Rome as the best. Nicole unhappily begs to differ. Eric is also sitting next to an empty seat. A woman passenger two seats down recognizes him as a priest. He exclaims he is NOT a priest! Marlena complains to Kayla that this is all the doing of Kristen. She set in motion the scandalous series of events. Kayla is paged and tells her to take her time with John’s files. Marlena flashes back to accusing Kristen of emotional torment and then snaps what a beech! She hopes she is burning in hell right now! On the road to Salem, Kristen tells the tale of her scandalous sex tape. She explains she changed her plan of playing the dvd after Brady decided to give her another chance. Her happiness with him was all she wanted. Dan gets sarcastic about that not working out very well. Kristen dramatically declares it is actually not over, for she loves Brady and knows in her heart that he loves her too … OH OH! THE END AHEAD ON DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Kristen realizes she needs to escape! |
