There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Runner Hope has hurt her leg and Aiden the hero wants to help. She gasps to leave her be. He sits beside her on the bench and states she is unable to stand. AS a fellow runner, he knows about knots and proceeds to massage her leg. Hope is utterly overwhelmed. He gazes at her, then teases imagine if Father Luis came along. Hope giggles, then gasps, feeling the heat.He continues to massage the leg and asks if it is good. She gasps the pain is gone. Their eyes lock and no words are necessary. Hope stands up, stammering she is fine, thank you. They start to go their separate ways but Aiden announces this must STOP! She must know how he feels about her! Hope soap stares … Maggie visits Dan, who is hard at work on his computer, compiling a document on Kristen’s drugs. The redhead reasons she will pay, then warns him about another wanton wicked woman. Evil Eve! Dan half grins like a rogue and puts away a file. Maggie thinks Eve is not neutralized yet and wants him to avoid her. All that one does is look for trouble! Dan assures Maggie there is no need to worry. But the redhead is very worried, also about her daughter getting close to JJ. Dan the fan leaps to the daughter’s defense. Paige and her mother are two very different people … At Horton house, jumpy JJ asks Eve what Theresa said. Eve is not sure what he is referring to. Was she supposed to spill something? JJ flashes back to getting hot and heavy with Paige when Theresa came along. He covers he simply assumed Theresa told some tall tale to make Eve come over. She is actually here for her royalties check. JJ has no idea where it is. She slyly suggests his sister would know. JJ sighs he will try to find it. She notices his guitar. As per Paige, he has talent. She dares him to show his stuff! JJ is up for the challenge. He strums a soulful song and she is impressed! She loved her guitar when she was young too. JJ points out Paige says she has a great voice. She gasps music is her passion and saved her. Her fav song was …Oh Shenandoah … She is unable to sing well, however. JJ urges her to continue and so she does as he plays. He harmonizes. She sings louder, feeling the emotion, only to lose her voice. It reduces her to tears. She explains she needed that money for college for Paige. JJ gets it. She also needs to fix her vocal chords. Eve admits singing made her feel alive and in control! The background banshees sings ooooooooooo. JJ is sympathetic. Eve gasps she will get the check later and thanks him. Perhaps things can be better between them. JJ nods. It seems to have been a turning point … At the apartment, Paige pouts JJ is not like other wayward guys. Theresa insists he is and she knows! He is not a forever kinda guy. She offers to forget what she saw and follows the girl out to the club as she could use a latte, not to mention companionship. At the club, Theresa tries to chip away at Paige’s notion of romance. One can only count on oneself. Paige thinks she is being melodramatic. Theresa tells her her parents always judged her but Paige points out things are different for her and Eve. Theresa now suggests Paige is the one looking after her needy mother. Paige ponders, then disagrees. Theresa the terrible takes it a step further when she reminds the girl her mother tried to get her to use JJ to influence the lawsuit. She implies he has a panties conquest collection and goes. Paige gasps indignantly … Aiden announces the time has come to stop the act! He has not felt the way he felt at the gala for a long time and there is no denying it. He gushes Hope is smart and beautiful and … She finishes and married. Aiden agrees and suddenly adds thank God almighty she is unavailable! Abigail has just locked them in the storage room. OOPS! The keys are still in the lock and Abigail has no phone signal in that basement. Ben rattles the doorknob. No luck. He thinks T and Sonny will come searching for him after a while. He suavely suggests they make the most of this! He holds her and she smiles coyly. He seductively whispers he wants to show her something. She smiles a naughty smile and agrees. Ben holds up a can of tuna. They are well stocked with food and he hands her a can opener for the tuna. She decides they can do better and offers to make a special salad with the canned foods. She gets to work and Ben gets the wine glasses. He licks the fancy food his girl is preparing. The red tablecloth is all set out. They are trapped in style and would not mind not being found for a while. Abi is elated when he gets the almond dessert to finish their fine meal. They wonder how their siblings would react down here. Ben still hopes Jordan and Rafe will reunite. Abi agrees she loves him a lot. Abigail now brings up papa Clyde and Ben scowls not to ruin the mood … EJ gets off the phone with the final board member and gets choked up when he spies the beautiful Samantha in her floral dress, ready for lunch. He was thinking of an outdoor lunch at the mansion but she suggests they go out. EJ is surprised she means in public, then realizes she wants to show the board a sign by so doing. Wotever the reason he is grateful for the chance to talk to her in earnest. She smiles they will see and gives him a flirty look with her baby blues. EJ follows the woman of his dreams all the way to the pub. He even holds her chair out for her as she settles at their table. The patrons gawk and whisper. Roman walks in and sarcastically states he hopes this is nothing but a divorce negotiation. Sami steps away to speak with him. He rages she is letting that one ruin her life. Sami will only say she is doing her best. Roman realizes this is not the time and decides to discuss later. He walks off and Sami returns to EJ. He charmingly praises her for her knowledge of architecture and the interests of a key board member. Sami smiles EJ had said he grew up in a Queen Anne home and it made her want to understand. Once upon a time his opinion meant the world to her. After a heartfelt while, he starts to tease her for staring at her phone. She shares she is concerned about the kids being away at camp. EJ admits he promised Johnny something and Sami wants the details. He swears her to secrecy and holds up his phone. Tis a video message from Johnny, who updates daddy on his stay at camp. He is taking care of his sisters and misses daddy. EJ is proud he is looking after his sisters and is sorry he did not show Sami earlier. She gushes the girls make her a similar video. EJ happily sips his beverage. His focus is their family, the rest of the world be damned … Back in the basement, Ben sulks. The pair put away the plates and clean up. Abi notes it is taking a while for them to be found. Ben agrees. They fold the red tablecloth and she puts it away. She knocks a few things over and he picks them up. They stand facing one another in cloooooose proximity … Hope does not understand. Aiden gasps he cannot be involved at the moment, hence his relief that she is unavailable. He realizes Hope loves her husband. She gasps she does and is sorry he is hurting over missing his wife. Aiden did not mean he missed her! He gasps his marriage was … not good … They fought a great deal …They stayed together for their son, which may have been a mistake … Then after she died, he and Chase were left together and he was left with the regret of not having been a good husband. He sighs he is not even a good person. Hope gives him a pep talk about the good he has done in Salem but downtrodden Aiden confesses he is not wrong about this. He now departs, leaving Hope to wonder why the depth of his despair … At the club, Dan gives Paige a pep talk. She should trust in JJ, ignore jealous Theresa. JJ now arrives and they are glad to see him. Dan is leaving Parker with the pair as the sitter has an appointment. Parker plays with his handheld game. JJ and Paige go to the counter to buy a latte and Paige assures him all that matters is what SHE thinks, not her mom. They kiss in bliss. JJ grins … Theresa the terrible marches back to the apartment and lets Eve know she caught JJ and Paige almost in the act on the truck of temptation! Eve is horrified, even more so that Paige wanted Theresa to lie about it. She fumes JJ is finished! An ad for a college bash gives her a wicked idea. The invisible background banshee moans ohyeaaaaaaaaah … Sami assures EJ she does not care that people at the pub are staring. He assures her he is taking this one step at a time. Sami now gets a text that gives her a start. OH MY GOD. EJ worriedly wonders WOT … Buff Ben kisses Abigail passionately and nuzzles her neck. Things get hot but suddenly, like a flash of lightning, Abi remembers getting hot and heavy with EJ in a storage room too!
