There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At the busy police station, JJ asks Hope for some information. The lad’s record has been expunged thanks to ambitious attorney Aiden, whom he wants to thank with a gift, though he is at a loss. He asks Hope what he likes. She coldly replies to ask someone else. He muses she sounds like she loathes him. Hope pretends to be busy with her file and will only say she hardly knows him. JJ chuckles that cannot be. They were the auction dream team! She corrects him. It was business only between the two of them … Aiden is presently at the pub, tormented by his memory of the waltz with Hope. The music pounds in his head. The pub waitress refuses to let him pay the bill and passes on her number! She coyly calls him the highlight of her day and asks his name … Aiden … She remarks he wears no wedding ring. Aiden appreciates the interest, but does not date. Then he goes on his lonely way. At the hospital, Theresa tackily gossips about the Abigail affair. Jen shuts her down and Theresa taunts she has to find her replacement temp. She must be wanting a moralistic girl who will not resign in disgrace like her dubious daughter! Abi acted like a virgin but was hot to trot enough to get EJ. Maybe Jenny is hot to trot too and that is how she snagged Dan the man! Jen accuses her of ill will. She hisses she has a sorry life so she gets her jollies from the unhappiness of others. Theresa cringes slightly. Jen now blasts her for manipulating boozer Brady into a wedding in Vegas, followed by a furious fight with his father. She hisses Theresa is to blame! Theresa counters that she thinks everything is her fault! Jen and her tightly braided updo advise Theresa to just worry about her own self. Abi will be fine, but not her! Jen now primly walks away. Eve smugly shows Paige the article about Abi at the apartment. Paige pities Abigail. Eve calls the Horton people troublemakers her kid could do without. Paige pouts. She assures her mother she has no regrets about Stanford. Eve gets sarcastic about JJ the ex-con and his fallen from grace sister. Paige defends her JJ as a nice guy she can trust. Eve realizes her feelings run deep. Could it be love??? She points out she had problems with past relationships and suggests she is throwing her life away. Paige has heard quite enough and goes down to finish getting her stuff out of the moving van. Eve promises to find them a nicer place soon. However, Paige’s bedroom box is heavy for one person. She now deduces her daughter has enlisted JJ’s assistance and closes the door with a curse. Abi finds Ben at the club. He is searching for the storage room keys as he has stuff to move. She now runs into Jordan, and informs her she is optimistic about a marketing job at the sports complex. Jordan starts to say Rafe has a pal there, then stops. They sit at a table to catch up and Abi realizes she has not had that heart-to-heart with Rafe. She reasons Rafe really cares for Jordan, not Kate! Jordan still feels sorry for herself and feels he made his choice that night. She has not even had a chance to tell him about Clyde. They now discuss Ben. Jordan lets the girl know she approves of their budding romance. Abi gushes he is good for her too! Ben returns with the storage room keys and Abi volunteers to help. Jordan smiles knowingly. Kate runs into Rafe at the square and asks how his visit with Gabi went. He replies she is coping. Along comes Clyde with a friendly greeting for Kate. Rafe gets intense, noticing they know one another. Kate forces a strained smile. Clyde catches himself and claims to have recognized her from her picture in the paper. Kate acts gracious. He hopes he is not interruptin. Rafe drawls he is not. Clyde offers his condolences over the end of Rafe and Jordan’s relationship. Rafe regrets it too. Clyde wonders what split them up and hopes the kids will work it out cos she is not the same. Rafe drawls he hopes so too. Clyde now brings up the business community and Rafe decides to give them their chance to discuss. Clyde slaps him on the back and tells him not to give up on his girl. Exit Rafe. Kate hisses what the hell! Clyde explains he was covering for any future questions Salemites might have about seeing them together. He flirts he is happy to be seen with such a great woman as herself! Kate is flattered but will not be used. He gushes thanks to her, he has been reunited with his keeds. It is an added honor to know a beauty business barracuda like her! She notes she is a busy barracuda. Clyde apologizes for his country candor. Kate smiles and excuses herself. But first Clyde wants the valuable info she promised. He raises his eyebrows and waits for the seedy name she owes him ... Attorney Aiden arrives at the station, where JJ thanks him and shakes his hand before leaving. Aiden explains he is here to depose a certain officer on a certain case. Hope solemnly states he will need to reschedule and she is the person in charge. She gives him a serious stare and then gives him a hard time about meeting with the busy lady officer. Aiden sighs the argumentative Hope is baaacak. They get close and stare each other down. Hope is up for the challenge. She frostily informs him she will be in touch. He doubts that and departs. Hope gasps and flashes back to the waltz. Then she excuses herself to take a much needed run, to clear her hot and bothered head … Eve comes across unhappy Theresa at the hospital and assumes Jen said something. Theresa denies she is troubled by wound up Jenny and asks about her. Eve explains her check for Jack’s profits got sent to Jenny instead of her but she had better not bug her sis! Theresa is grateful. Eve asks what she said. That she was to blame for John’s state. Eve advises her to say nothing to anyone about that. How is it looking? Theresa suspects he is headed for a long term care facility. It cannot be soon enough for her! Eve suggests she go for a walk and also do her a favor … Theresa agrees and tells her to give Jen hell. She giggles she will and goes. Eve now storms into Jen’s office for her check. Jen snaps said check is at home and she plans to put it in the mail. Eve talks tough. This is not acceptable and she wants it NOW. JJ accidentally spills the contents of Paige’s box in the moving truck. He teases her about the stuffed bunny that fell out. She sighs someone special won it for her at the carnival. Now she sees a picture of the guy who won it for her. He was not a boyfriend, he was more! But then he was gone for good. She pouts again about her papa. Then she opens up to JJ about him leaving after a fight with Eve. He never returned. JJ is sympathetic. Paige sadly states the postcards even stopped after a while and sighs. Her mom never recovered from the abandonment. JJ senses Paige too is still suffering He touches her face and kisses her. She kisses him back and they lie down in the van. Theresa appears at the open door and stops and stares at the sight. Then she interrupts the teen panters. JJ and Paige jump up. Theresa taunts JJ for mixing biz with pleasure like usual. She is here to see Eve about a photo album and suspects she would not approve. Paige insists she is fine with her seeing JJ. Theresa threatens to call and ask her … Meanwhile Eve is still at it with Jen, who accuses her of being in a hurry to get HER husband’s money. Eve argues it is her money, then taunts her for being distracted due to daughter Abigail’s drama. Jenny jumps up and hisses not to dare go there! Eve pauses and eyes her like a cat considering its options. She feigns sympathy. Jen is in no mood for her games and orders her out! Exit Eve. But she intends to head to Horton house to get her check and have a crack at the wayward daughter on this day. Two for the price of one! Jordan runs into glum Rafe at the town gate and tells him to … wait. Naturally he obliges. Paige urges indignant JJ to go. She will call him soon. The Romeo reluctantly walks out. Theresa is impressed she made him leave and promises Paige she will not tell Eve. Paige does not believe her. Besides, they only got carried away. The older girl warns that is how things happen. Paige petulantly points out she should be more worried about herself. Theresa takes a deep breath and follows her out. Ben and Abi are in the dusty storage room. She is all for helping him move stuff. He teases is she ready to get dirty? She teases right back that she is not too fragile to lift boxes. They start to kiss and she tells him not to slack. Time to get to work … Rafe clutches his coffee and asks how Jordan fares. Fine. He asks about work keeping her busy, then notes his keeps him busy but yesterday he visited Gabi. She tries to make the glum guy feel better about the absentee mom, pointing out Ari has two dads and a terrific uncle Rafe. She now announces she has an important question. Rafe waits with bated breath. She explains the plight of poor Abi, who was forced to resign. Rafe is sympathetic. She now adds she is applying for a marketing position at the sports complex and hopes Rafe will put in a good word with his friend there. Rafe is rather disappointed this is all she wanted from him. He admits he cannot comprehend what possessed Will to write that article. He will see what he can do for Abi. She gasps her thanks and clicks away. Rafe watches after her, sensing there is so much more to her own story. If only she would tell him! Hope sits on a bench in pain, having pulled her leg. Along comes strolling Aiden, who turns away at the sight of her, though she has not noticed him. So far. Aiden soon steps before her with a casual, concerned YOU OK? Hope gasps and grimaces in pain. Then she glances up at him … Kate sweetly states sorry she almost forgot and hands Clyde the name and number of a certain gentleman. He cordially thanks her and calls her quite a woman. She coos thank you and waltzes off. Clyde has his eye on the prize that is Kate as she disappears from view … Working girl Jen assures herself Abi will overcome. She will help and protect her kids no matter what … Abi reaches for the last remaining box, not realizing it was keeping the door open. The storage door falls SHUT before Ben can do anything. Abi blinks … Theresa follows Paige into the apartment to pick up her photo album. Paige coldly hands it over. Theresa praises her for holding out with JJ. As soon as you give a guy what he wants, he is gone for good … JJ soulfully strums his guitar, home alone. Knock knock! There stands Eve. He anxiously asks what Theresa told her.
