There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Will wishes to be treated like an adult! He knows what Sonny did, that he got him that magazine job and it makes him feel like a child! Sonny patiently explains he was simply trying to help. His motives were pure. Will gets upset that Zoe would have hired him no matter what he wrote cos she works for Sonny’s uncle Victor. It is all Sonny’s fault! Sonny reasons he gave him the opportunity, no more no less. Will was the one who decided on the details to write and the article indicated he was desperate to be noticed. Will pauses. He snaps it was not his idea to expose Sami and EJ! Sonny snaps but it was his POWER TRIP! Will insists he would never have outed Abigail. Sonny reads out loud what he did write and insists it was too easy to figure out! Will plays innocent, as he did not … He did not think, rages Sonny! He did not even forewarn Abigail! Will rages right back that he does not need his glorified baristo hubby to tell him what he thinks. He does not want to be married to someone who controls his life. Sonny snaps he was trying to be nice. Will snaps he assumed he was a loser who could not get his own job and storms out in a snit. The baby cries. Sensible Sonny stays to check on honey ... At the club, Victor sits alone drowning his sorrows. He considers calling Maggie and accepts Ben’s offer of a refill instead. Enter the EJ. Ben glares at him. EJ orders a coffee, then lets charming sarcastic Victor know Lucas told him. He owns True Vista and is responsible for that tabloidish article! The Greek grins he was not responsible and cares only that the publication makes a profit. EJ doubts that and says so, feeling this was an attack on himself as well as Samantha. Victor taunts it is a hot story making a huge profit. EJ gets righteous about wot it is doing to his kids. Vic quips he should have thought of that before he starting doing Abi. The Greek leaves due to the hot air in the establishment. Ben kicks EJ out, since he seems to be bad for business. But EJ does not go. Instead he sits at the bar for a candid conversation with Ben … Strong Sami shoves slap happy Abi against the door and hisses she picked the wrong day for a fight with her. Abi gets away and states she said what she wanted to already. Sami calls her a slut and smugly confirms she did tell the magazine her name. She almost did not but then remembered when she thought she was pregnant with EJ's baby and let Sami console her. Abigail thinks she already had done enough against her. Sami taunts the whole world will know what a slut she is. She even sent Chad the link via email! Abigail gasps she is vile and vindictive. Sami has more important matters to attend to. Abigail mentions Shin’s name. Sami cannot conceal her surprise. Abi boasts she read about him on the website and he is the most influential board member. Sami makes a snide remark about the town tramp chasing him down in the shower. Abi sweetly states they have already been in communication. Perhaps she ought to call him now … At the square, Brady is bored of discussing Kristen and her whereabouts. Marlena wants to know what they said to one another. Brady flashes back to her heartfelt admission and drawls it was nothing. However, make no mistake, the she devil is not done yet! She claims to want to make things right. Marlena has a very bad feeling, Brady admits the sight of her reminded him of John’s predicament, that they are both to blame. Marlena gasps John could be her next target! She makes a call and is relieved to learn from the night staff that John has not had any unwanted visitors. Brady wants to go to his side. She explains he is having another CT scan. She wonders whether stormy Sami is even aware Kristen is on the loose. The blonde believes EJ had a hand in her release. Brady vows to protect the family from the feline felon and hugs Marlena. She will never hurt him again! Marlena smiles to take care and elegantly departs. Brady sighs and his fingers start to twitch – not a good sign for an addict. He heads back to the mansion, where he flashes back to Kristen. Her words haunt him. He walks to the bar, then thinks better of it and throws a glass against the wall. Maggie appears and he promises Kristen will not drive him to drink this time! The redhead is visibly relieved. He gasps he needs a meeting and gets his car keys. If only he could get the she devil out of his head! He now asks about Maggie. He suspects she is upset about Will story and the effect on Abigail. She sighs she cannot comprehend why Will would do such a thing! Brady thinks he should flatten EJ. Maggie would rather he reach out to Sami. He laments his texts and calls to Sami and Jen have been ignored and gets insecure. She assures him everyone still loves him. Brady stands up and vows to step up for those who have been there for him. He means it too. Kristen is pleased to see sleeping John and says so. All of a sudden, Dr. Dan grabs her from behind. She smiles coyly. He threatens to call the cops. She smugly flashes her ankle monitor. The judge wants her to stay in town. Dan ushers her out, determined to keep her far from his patients! John sleeps on. Dan is about to call for a restraining order but Kristen slyly suggests they speak … privately. Once in a conference room, he calls her delusional. She has got to go! She taunts she was told to stay and what transpired between them is simply his word against hers. Dan drawls there is still evidence to lock her up. She purrs they shall see. He counters she was sloppy and the good people of Salem will send her to the slammer. He starts to go but she purrs and thanks him! Thanks to him, she could not have gotten her second chance with Brady! She could not have come up with a more brilliant plan! Dan sarcastically suggests she write him a thank you note from prison when she gets there. She coos not happening and suggests he is lashing out due to his lost relationship with Jen. He opens the door and orders her out. She coos thanks again for the help and flounces out. He throws the door shut and places a hand on the phone, as though considering … to call or not to call … At the bar, Ben is busy polishing cups. Seated patron EJ gets how he feels, though he is glad … Ben snaps not to talk to him about the woman he … He stops short of uttering the L word. EJ smiles a knowing smile and exits. He knows exactly how he feels. Abigail holds up her phone to prove that Shin did call her! He is unaware of the truth about Sami … Sami mutters to put down the phone and let her know what she wants. For this rabid revenge to stop right here right now! She threatens to expose what she did to Shin if she continues to come after her. Her and EJ’s affair is old news anyway and there are no more bombs to drop. So stay away from her family! Sami asks what if Shin calls. She might not answer his call but if he tracks her down, she will say the same thing as what was in her press release. She pauses at the door and hopes Sami and EJ will spend the rest of their miserable lives at the dastardly DiMera mansion destroying each other. They deserve it! Marlena finds Will alone at the dark park. She wonders what is the matter. He sighs everything and she gives him a supportive embrace. Sonny is holding baby Ari when he opens the door to Victor, whom he summoned. Vic notes the secret he kept from Will was a whopper. Sonny admits he messed up but so did Vic cos he could have stopped this before it spiraled out of control and hurt people. Victor cannot deny the charge. He also cannot deny the fact that the explosive article about Sami and EJ was his idea. However, it was Sonny who came to him to hire Will! Sonny continues to cuddle the baby in his arms and lectures his uncle on letting it go too far. Will is now in a mood. The Greek points out Will is going to get lucrative offers. They agree he is being rather stubborn at the moment. The Greek glumly admits he has to tell Maggie what he did – not an easy task. Alas when one is in love and messes up, one always hopes for another chance. And then he goes. Sonny holds the sweet baby close and considers. Brady arrives at the hospital and asks for an update on John’s CT scan. Dr. Dan drawls there was no change. Brady is bothered about Kristen having been there. Dan admits she wanted to thank him for bringing her back to Salem and there is more. A worried frown creases Brady’s brow … Meanwhile Kristen admires her diva self in the mirror as she talks on the phone. With her contact she just might be able to make something happen … Sami is putting together a package for the kids, who are away at camp. EJ returns to the mansion and is interested in hearing about their cute kids at camp. He suggests they take the kids out for a bite to eat and pay a visit. Ponytail Sami whispers they should not give them the wrong impression. EJ understands and decides to head for bed. Sami suspects he wants her to come with, since that was his condition to make things right with the board. EJ now makes a bold admission. He does indeed miss having Samantha in his arms but was not asking for that in return for his corporate assistance. That was not wot he meant! Sami is puzzled. Ben is closing up the empty club. The lights are dim. Abigail appears like a shadow and says hi. He starts to say hi and she suddenly grabs him in a passionate goodnight kiss. Ben grins to wish him goodnight anytime. She smiles and walks back out into the Salem night. Ben watches. At the dark park, Marlena the emotional healer wonders whether Will feels Sonny is to blame for the fallout from the article. Will states Sonny was the one pulling the strings. Marlena calls that selective thinking. Will was the one who chose to write said article. Will gasps Sonny said he actually enjoyed hurting his mom with that article! Marlena suggests there might be some truth to it. Will insists he loves his mom and wanted to stop her from hurting people. Marlena puts it all in perspective when she reasons Will and Sonny love one another. He should not lose sight of that fact … Will now goes home to Sonny and the baby, still feeling sorry for himself. Sonny explains he was not sure he would return. Will claims he came to put the baby to bed. No talking tonight. Sonny woefully watches as he closes the baby’s bedroom door … Victor also arrives home, where Maggie is fast asleep on the sofa. He wonders how to break the news … Back at the mansion, EJ wishes Samantha would ask him wot he wants. And so she does. He is hoping for a chance but he only wants to be back in her bed if he is back in her heart. They can start slow, perhaps with a meal, a chat, the honor of him holding her hand. He dramatically declares he would move mountains! Sami shyly gives him a list of the board members he could best help her with. Then she shyly invites him out for lunch tomorrow. EJ emotionally thanks her, promises she will not be sorry, and goes upstairs to bed alone. Overwhelmed Sami weeps ... Kristen flashes back to taking photos of everything in John’s chart. She tells her contact on the phone she is sending it now … Dan warns Brady that Kristen clearly has a mysterious plan … Kristen tells her contact to let her know the verdict of John’s chart. Her entire future depends on it ...! THE END AHEAD ON DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Jordan needs Rafe! Clyde comes onto Kate! Aiden and Hope are in denial. |
