BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS At the motel, Dr. Kayla checks sleeping Jen and assures Belle there are no signs of overdose. Belle is relieved. Jen wakes up to sympathetic Kayla and sits up. She feels like she is in a fog ... Theo gushes he's gotta go and Claire gushes she had fun. He admits he did as well. She suggests he text Abe he is with her now and stay a while, to watch a movie, have some soda. Theo innocently agrees ... At DiMera mansion babysitter Ciara cannot get Thomas to stop crying. Papa Chad points out his small son can sense his mom cannot come back. Ciara suggests he has picked up on Chad's sadness but Chad tells her SHE has been tense ever since she said she loved him ... Foggy Jenny cannot remember much until she spies the open bottle of vodka beside the bed. She gasps she did not go too far, she feels she is alright. But she breaks down about Abigail being gone and her stress leading her to such a seedy place. Kayla softly says it is only a setback. Jen panics Belle will tell her client Chad that she fell off the wagon ... Theo is watching a movie he already knows with Claire, who is getting close. He smiles he has seen this film with Ciara. Pouty Claire decides to watch another movie but still he talks about Ciara. Claire frowns no more movies ... Chad takes Thomas in his arms and he stops wailing. Ciara denies being simply infatuated with the DiMera as he has suggested. It is love. Chad is speechless and then informs her he is not in love with her. Ciara's response rather startles him ... Jen slowly pulls herself together. Belle emotionally admits her heart breaks for her as family. Jen fears she had her followed. Kayla counters at least she found her! Belle now comes clean about having her tailed and then weeps for the fellow mother's loss. Crying Jen is grateful but she wants to go home. The two women go with her ... Theo is still speaking of Ciara loving that movie as Claire's eyes narrow with jealousy. She lets Theo know what she really meant was she wanted to keep making out. He suggests they simply kissed in sadness before ... Ciara insists Chad loves her. She helped him and she thinks that meant love. He suggests she see things clearly. Ciara insists they have a bond and she is here for him, what they share in her mind is true love. Chad explains he was open with her as he was in pain and is sorry she misunderstood the moment. Ciara argues their age difference is not an issue but he explains he has a child. She lists her own drama and cries she knows he has feelings. The teen is totally in denial, and assures him they can wait, given how he just lost Abigail. Chad calls it crazy. He has no such feelings! Theo thinks he did like making out and Claire confesses she likes him a lot. Theo blushes when she calls him sexy and wants to know what he likes in her. He states she is only the second girl he has ever kissed. She states Ciara has since moved on ... Jen is brought home to Doug and Julie. Doug is on his way and Julie offers tea. Belle is invited to stay. Jumpy Jen agrees, just to keep her from talking to Chad. Kayla also asks Belle to stay to help Jen relax so she does. Belle promises jumpy Jen no pictures no problems and lets her check her phone too ... Chad did not set out to hurt Ciara. Ciara snaps it is too late! Chad laments his heart is broken as he lost the love of his life. He and Abigail had the perfect love and they were finally together! He adds he will never be able to move on with Ciara and asks her to leave since she should not work here anymore. He promises to pay her what she was owed. She screams she wants nothing from him and storms out. Thomas wakes up from the commotion and cries. Chad tends to him. As it turns out Tommy was hungry. Chad knows he misses his mom, says him too, and blames himself for letting them lock her up in that institution. Tommy touches his father's face and Chad promises to do right by his son. No more mistakes. He cries tragic tears ... Meanwhile Ciara heads home. MOOOOOOOM I need to talk. Alas no one is there, just a note about leftovers. Ciara texts a friend she needs to talk but Claire is otherwise occupied. She accuses Theo of still wanting Ciara and suggests he leave. Theo states stuff changes and holds her hands. He feels he has to let Ciara go and move on. Thus, he kisses Claire again ... Ciara sulks and turns on the TV. Then she sighs and turns it off, probably because Days of Our Lives is preempted ... Ciara is on the move ... Back at Horton house, Belle confirms to Kayla that she will not report anything to Chad. She would not risk ruining things with Shawn. All of a sudden someone is at the door. Tis Chad with Thomas! Belle steps outside to deal with the untimely visit ... Inside Julie has the tea ready. Jen wonders who was at the door. Julie suggests she let Belle handle it. Jen admits she regrets her actions. Kayla talks addiction disease and praises her regret. She advises her to attend a meeting at the hospital tonight. In fact, she needs to. Julie offers to accompany her. Jen agrees. Outside, Belle tells Chad this is a bad time to talk to Jen. Besides she would not be able to look after Thomas today. Chad senses a relapse. Belle implores him to take Thomas home and goes back inside ... Ciara wants a word with her friend. She arrives at a slightly open door, only to catch Claire and Theo kissing on the couch ... Belle assures the women waiting inside that it was Chad and she told him nothing. Jen realizes she is responsible for her own relapse and will have to handle the consequences, whatever they are ... Ciara stammers she is sorry she walked in. Claire now notices her text and is sorry she did not answer. What is going on? Ciara stammers nothing and leaves. Claire advises Theo against going after her. Theo claims he is only leaving as it is late ... Back at DiMera mansion Chad puts his baby to bed. Thomas holds out his hand. Belle now arrives. Chad deduces Jen relapsed and advises the lawyer he tried to fire not to lie to him. He laments he is no longer able to look after his son. Belle angrily replies she will handle this situation and takes out her phone. Chad watches and waits ... Claire takes out her guitar but alas she does not feel like singing like Adele today ... Theo has followed Ciara to the park. She bitterly asks if he and Claire are now a couple. He admits they kissed and makes light of it. Ciara shuts him out. She would rather be aloooone. He tells her to call if she needs to talk and unhappily walks away into the night ... Jen the strong woman is now at the podium, telling the AA group all about her vodka and pills. The pain was tough to take but she knew getting high was wrong and knows one must work thru pain. She has good family good friends and cries Abigail would want her to be strong ... so be it! The addicts applaud and colorful Julie hugs her ... Belle pretends to call social services to give Chad a wake-up call about stopping the self pity. She warns him if no one is able to take care of his son he will be sent to a foster home. She suggests Ciara the sitter come back to help out tonight. Chad sighs she is not available.
