BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS Suited Aiden is smug with Justin at the square as he asks the DA he recently replaced for an update or advice. Justin accuses him of getting to his contact first and stealing his job. Aiden accuses him of stealing evidence ... Deimos is waiting for a Maggie update at the hospital with Nicole. He fears Victor will not forgive him if she will not walk again. Nearby sweet Sonny is with visitor Caroline, pointing out the need to be positive. Meanwhile the doctor pokes and Maggie feels her foot her ankle her leg! Victor is all smiles at her side. They weep and give thanks... John, Theresa and Brady arrive at the door in a hotel room. John has no luck when he knocks so Theresa pretends to be housekeeping. Brady goes to get the manager. Back at the Salem PD, Rafe is complaining to Abe and Roman, who remind him it is not his place to question the changing of the guard. Mayor Abe notes Justin was only the acting DA. Rafe is shocked when Roman lets him know Justin actually chose to resign. He smells a rat ... Justin tells Aiden everyone knows who he is! Aiden laughs and tells him to be grateful he is not locking him up. He alludes to cover-ups and people getting away with murder in this town ... Sonny and Caroline are in Maggie's room. He smiles Maggie is great and Caroline calls her tough. Maggie cannot wait to go home. The doctor suggests she start physiotherapy here at the hospital. She will be able to walk tomorrow! Nicole comes in and congratulates her. Victor tells Deimos to come in, and grins they are grateful. Mysterious Greek music plays in the background ... Brady has obtained the card from the manager and John opens the door, gun ready. They turn on the lights and enter. Alas the crib and the room are empty. Brady curses. John notes even though there is nothing here they will soon close in. Theresa cries and Brady hugs her. Tate cries too behind a partition and mommy finds him. Theresa and Brady have a happy reunion with their son and John gets choked up ... Maggie starts physio tomorrow and thanks the doctor. Victor feels he owes him his life. Maggie thanks Deimos even though she knows he was the one who caused her mishap. Caroline cannot believe she is thanking him for anything. Victor muses the doctor turned down his money. Deimos boasts it was his mission to make it happen so he did. He now asks for a fresh start. Victor agrees but Sonny looks worried. Something is off ... The gang have Tate and John explains the cops have to check for prints. Theresa talks to Tate and tells her little man never again will anyone take him away! Brady agrees and teases her for hovering. Theresa cries her angel is precious and Brady admires him. Theresa credits Tate with bringing them together too and showing her what it means to looove someone. Brady kisses her head and hugs her tight. Theresa now thanks God ... John just wishes Tate could talk to tell them what happened. He finds a cell phone on the floor. Brady calls the one number programmed and Victor answers! Brady hangs up and growls SON OF A BEECH. His eyes are filled with rage ... Rafe attempts to reason with Roman and Abe, who advise him to back off. Rafe reminds them that Aiden is in league with the likes of the damn DiMeras and plotted to murder Hope for her life insurance. Abe refuses to listen and leaves. Roman is also tight-lipped and informs Rafe that for now this is the way it's gotta be. It is all very vague ... Back at the square suited Aiden taunts Justin as a criminal. Justin warns him he will be caught and sarcastically wishes him luck. Then he steps away and Aiden takes a deep breath ... Victor is alone with the woman he loves and hands her a gift box. Red shoes so she shall dance again! She was a Rockette after all - in the real world. Maggie is thrilled but wonders about that call he just got. It seemed to unsettle him. The Greek grumbles it was a wrong number ... Rafe now warns Roman that Hope will have to deal with the new D.A. Roman is aware it is unfair. Aiden arrives, asking for all the files for the new charges ... Theresa is with Tate telling him when daddy gets back they will take him to the doctor ... The family gather round Maggie. She cannot wait to go home. Victor will have a home gym set up. She is excited about walking again. She gets winded so Victor tells them to leave her room but before they can Brady comes in with John announcing they are here to arrest Victor! Serious words indeed. He accuses granddad of committing conspiracy to kidnap his son. GASP! Maggie is aghast as Victor denies it. John talks proof in the form of Tate! Victor waves away the idea that he was involved. Brady fumes they found a phone and he answered when he called the only number that was programmed. Victor sighs he was set up and suspects the Chopin group but Brady believes he did it due to the evidence. A cop comes in and arrests him, carting him off. Maggie wants to believe he was framed. Brady is sorry and leaves. Sonny now accuses Deimos of setting up Uncle Vic and storms out to find his father. Deimos acts innocent and repeats he is happy Maggie will walk. Then he goes too. Maggie is devastated. Caroline cannot console her. No one can as the man she loves has been carted off ... Aiden and Rafe politely and sarcastically clash at the station. Rafe intends to find out exactly how he got rid of Justin ... Sonny finds Justin at the square and updates him on Deimos framing Victor ... Deimos is home on the phone ordering his man to discreetly get him everything the cops have on Victor. Nicole hears! Deimos turns around and they soap stare. Caroline wants Maggie to be happy she will walk. Maggie laments she will walk to see Victor in jail and senses she is keeping something from her. Caroline confesses she is convinced it was indeed Victor who did it ... At the pub Sonny asks Justin to put off prosecuting. Justin confesses he had to resign and tells him all about the vanished evidence. The low level guy walked but Justin broke the law and had to resign. Sonny worries about charges but Justin notes there will be none. He helped Victor by getting close to Deimos and did as asked by the brother. It was all for the family truce. Sonny decides the truce with Deimos is dead. He knows Victor would not have abducted his grandson and says so. He is convinced that Deimos was the culprit behind it ... Brady and Theresa try to understand why Victor did what he did. Brady believes Bo's death changed him. Also Victor wanted to set up Summer. He romantically kisses Theresa and tells her they are together again ... Nicole demands Deimos answer her as honestly as promised. He says ask away ... anything He acts like an open book with a questionable cover ... Aiden is here to do his job and informs Abe he will be reviewing all of Justin's cases, open as well as closed. Rafe starts to sweat. Roman suggests the new DA stick to the open cases only. Aiden announces he will bring in his new perspective. They have no idea he is in the pocket of Andre DiMera ... Back at the pub the Kiriakis father and son confer. Justin plans to represent Victor. Sonny plans to get the proof that this was Deimos' doing. Justin is already on it ... Caroline tells Maggie about her vision of Victor on the phone with the Tatenapper, how he acted strangely and told her to drop it ... Victor is standing at the station in handcuffs waiting to be booked. He swears on his life to John he did not do this, he loves Brady and Tate ... Theresa likes Brady's kisses and he shows her more. They love their new normal together ... Deimos knows he made a promise. On his Greek honor he will answer Nicole with honesty ... Nicole demands he come clean if he was the one who masterminded Tate's abduction and framed Victor. Did he do it? Deimos looks deeply into her angry eyes ... THE END! |
