BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS Claire is working on her soulful song at home. Meanwhile Theo thinks he knows where Ciara is headed when he spies her at the square ... At DiMera mansion master Chad is a total wreck, clutching to the framed picture of the woman he loves, the woman he believes he has lost forever. Legal eagle Belle arrives to sympathetically strategize. Chad laments he is at a loss how to tell Thomas when he grows up that mama will never come home. He woefully wonders when their romance went to hell cos he and Abi had been happy once upon a time! How to live without her ... Jenny is on the move. She locks her motel door and looks around. She gets the pills from her handbag and considers what she is about to do ... Back at DiMera mansion Belle begs Chad to stop blaming himself. They sit and she states Abigail was sick, it was inherited and Ben brought it to the surface. He calls Ben her road to hell and growls he wants him to rot in jail. Belle sighs he could not have saved Abigail so he must let go of his guilt. Chad mutters the wonderful Abigail placed her trust in him. He is responsible for leaving her alone at the institution for too long! Belle reasons it was not his decision and reminds him the doctors decided to hold her there longer. Chad claims he could have found another place or professionals so she would not have felt the need to flee. Belle is so sorry but he needs to be there for his baby boy! She urges him to fight for Thomas though lost soul Chad has made up his mind. He has decided that Thomas would be better off with someone more stable and solid like Jen ... Jen takes out her flask of vodka. Her shaky hands reach for the pills she plans to pop - until ghost Jack suddenly appears, imploring her not to! Ciara gets off a check-in work call to Shady Hills, explaining to patient pal Theo that she had forgotten her phone while away. Theo thinks then she does not know. She wonders what he means ... Belle believes Chad is not thinking clearly for his son needs his father now more than anyone. Chad, however, feels he is too unfit to be a father. Alas Stefano does not appear leaving one to wonder whether his ghost has faded for good ... Jenny cries to Jack that their baby girl is no more. Jack gently suggests the pills will not solve the problem. She cries he is not here in the real world. He insists he is in her heart. Always. Jen laments she longs for him to hold her and cries about the pain. Jack feels it as well. However he has come here to remind her she is still a mom who is blessed with the spirit of a fighter. In short, she is tough and shall overcome yet again. Jack knows she will not give up for Thomas has lost his mama and needs her now more than ever. Jen loves talking about Thomas how he is like Abigail was at that age. Jack tells her to stay strong for Abigail for she would want her to go on for herself, for all of them. Jen eventually agrees. Jack says to stay clean and protect the grandchild from his DiMera daddy ... Back at DiMera mansion, Belle deduces Chad needs the support of friends and family. He feels he has none and suggests he let Jen have Thomas. Belle knows for a fact he is not quite himself so no way in hell will she allow it ... Theo updates Ciara on the tragic plane crash, the fact that the fair Abigail was confirmed on board. Ciara cries for sad Chad ... Belle gives Chad a poignant pep talk, to hang on to Thomas, the last of his family, the innocent babe. He continues to clutch Abigail's picture like a lost soul. Belle urges him to keep fighting along with her. Chad appreciates everything and now politely fires her for he is done fighting. He weeps and starts to call Jen ... Jenny stands up and screams at Jack for acting like her heartbreak and rage is so easy to let go of. She needs to be numb! Jack tries to talk her out of popping the pills with her hard liquor. He wants her to be the Jen he knows, the Jen that Tom needs. Chad calls but she ignores it and considers popping a pill. Jack sternly says call back and tell him YOU are raising our grandson ... Ciara has heard the Hortons are hurting. Theo tells her about the photo ID, and asks what can he do to help her? She says the same to him for he and Abigail were friends. They discuss how wonderful Abigail was. Ciara blames Ben for making her snap and talks Thomas needing his mom. Theo used to dream of his late mom and speak to her. Ciara sometimes dreams of Bo and talks to him as well. She weeps for Chad and Thomas and takes off to go to him. Claire now gingerly comes up to disappointed Theo ... Belle suggests Chad take some time and offers to get him a meal. No thanks and Chad demands to be left the hell alone! Enter sympathetic Ciara, who gets testy when Belle talks down to her. She snaps she will stay for Chad and Thomas and look after them both herself ... Eerie music plays at the motel. Jack asks Jen to look at a picture of the baby before she goes on that bender. Jenny resists the pills when she does and looks sad. She cries she can never hold her baby Abigail ever again. Poof! Jack disappears and Jen breaks down, alone again. She gets the pills and the music grows louder. She places them in her mouth. Drums play as she swallows and sobs her heart out ... Ciara warns Belle not to dare dismiss her. Chad calmly thanks Belle for her services. He promises he will pay her and apologizes. Belle is concerned but agrees to go. She asks Ciara to speak sense into him regarding Thomas. Ciara is horrified to hear he was about to give up on his son. It is so unlike him, so unDiMera ... Claire and Theo discuss Abigail and the sad times surrounding them. Belle approaches and asks for a word alone with her daughter. Theo departs. Belle announces she and Shawn are letting her defer college for one year to follow her dream. Claire hugs her for having faith and flounces after Theo to tell him her good news. Belle now gets an unexpected call from P.I. Paul, who is at a pub booth. John asked him to tail Jen on her behalf. As it turns out, Jen has fallen off the wagon. She was photographed getting drugs from a dealer at the dark side of the park, buying booze at the liquor store, and checking into a seedy motel. Belle is all ears about the scandalous development that could help the former client she now considers a friend ... At the pub, Belle joins serious Paul, who already sent her the pictures. He points out there is proof. Belle starts to feel bad but heads to the motel to see for herself ... Theo and Claire are home alone, talking about how she feels, always turning to the order of music notes. Theo gushes her notes come straight from her heart and asks her to sing for him ... Chad believes he is in a bad state so Jen should take Thomas. Ciara begs to differ and insists Abigail would agree. She has seen how wonderful he is with his son. Chad cries he feels like an unfit father. Ciara cries she cannot let him give up his son ... Belle slips into Jen's motel room, where she is sleeping on the bed. Belle sees the empty vodka bottle and almost takes a picture of the not so prim and proper Jen sprawled on the bed by the empty vodka bottle. She stops and strokes the sleeping Jen instead, sorry for her pain ... Claire is singing her heart out for smiling Theo. He sighs he wishes Ciara could hear her too but Claire replies she went to Chad. She flirts she wants to help Theo forget ... KISS ALERT ... Back at DiMera mansion Chad suggests Ciara stop wasting her time on him. She exclaims she wants to help him and reminds him he is alive. He scoffs why does she even care. Ciara blurts out because she LOVES him. BOOM. He had not been expecting this ... THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Abe is forced to swear in D.A. Aiden. Here comes chaos! |
