BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS WITH DETAILS ADDED! Sonny and Chad ask each other to be their best man. Happy times! They hug one other in hearty congrats ... Abigail shows Jen the cute photos Chad sent her of Thomas. When she mentions the wedding, she realizes Jen is troubled. Tis Lucas ... Lucas slurs to "Adrienne" he lost the key to her heart. He starts to fall on the bed but Bonnie stops him. He tells her his woes and wants her. Bonnie is touched. Meanwhile woman in red Angelica leaves her an angry message warning her not to touch Lucas and especially not Justin! She remembers real Adrienne suspecting she was after Justin. Hattie now joins her at the square and Angelica complains she did not return her call. Hattie gushes she was getting beauty rest. She tells her there was a snag at Bayview cos John Black tailed her there. Angelica is aghast especially when she hears how he saw Marlena. Meanwhile Marlena wakes up remembering how John came to see her earlier, only to be locked in by Hattie. But where is her hero now? She whispers it was no dream and remembers their reunion. He vowed to get her out and home where she belonged. Then came a kiss and a heartfelt embrace... Brady drinks. Victor walks in relieved Sonny is free. He wonders what is taking the police so long to arrest Eric and becomes annoyed when Brady admits he did not turn in the amulet to the cops ... Eric lies to Nicole it is a business letter he is working on. She asks to see, assuming she can help ... Chad and Sonny toast with their coffees. Chad is glad to be his best man if he will be his. Deal! They shake on it with a grin ... Abigail and Jen discuss the Lucas drama that came like a bolt from the blue. Jen is troubled by Adrienne's treatment of him. This is not the Adrienne she knows ... Bonnie is sorry she hurt Lucas. He slurs she should have told him from the start. Lucas starts seeing double and drops her binder of Adrienne's history to the floor. He wonders what the hell it is ... Brady insists to Victor that he was wrong about Eric and Nicole. Victor scoffs. He suspects she will cheat on him anyway. Brady believes and loves and trusts her but Victor thinks he is a fool for love ... Eric wants to wait until he has fixed whet he wrote. Nicole lets him know how much his letters meant to her. If only she had seen them sooner! She admits she now can imagine what it feels like to take a life. Eric wonders what she means ... Angelica is appalled that John found Marlena and demands to know what Hattie did. She lets her know she locked them together and laughs. Angelica is more stressed by the minute for he will blow their plan to the heavens ... Marlena tries to remember and flashes back to filling John in on when she was snatched by Hattie. John frees her hands and she says she is now here under Hattie's name. John was worried sick and Hattie said things about him taking their love for granted. He thought Marlena needed time. She is horrified to hear about Hattie kissing Roman. John admits he got jealous and slugged Roman. He will have to apologize. Marlena is relieved she reached him by phone. He sighs he only heard her scream help. Then he followed Hattie. Marlena feels the sedative is wearing off. She knows when John is seen he will be recognized cos he is a known hero ... Brady insists to Victor that Eric was not the one who offed Deimos. Victor scoffs how can he be certain ... Nicole remembers Brady warning not to tell Eric her inconvenient truth. She babbles about Daniel, to distract him, and apologizes for taking so long to forgive him. He strokes her arm and murmurs he understands. She admits their history is complex and he breathes in agreement, getting closer. She is relieved they are now able to move forward as friends. Eric gasps he has got to tell her something, something else. Oooo ... Abigail admits she has made her fair share of mistakes, given she cheated on Ben with Chad. Then she told Chad to move on and got mad when he did, so she turned around and agreed to marry Dario just to make him think she was alright without him. Jen asks what comes next. An annulment. Jen is relieved. Abigail gushes she gets to be Mrs Chad DiMera again ... Chad and Sonny discuss the busy wedding season, the difficulty of finding the right date. Sonny marvels things turned around for them both and even his folks reconciled ... Lucas looks at the secret file and sees his corporate headshot. Bonnie puts it away and he wants to know why. "Adrienne" explains she missed him a lot. He kisses her and insists it is alright. Bonnie gives in and lives for the moment with hot Lucas ... Marlena wonders what happened to John. She flashes back to two orderlies jumping him and hauling him away ... Victor exclaims Eric is no innocent, he took the amulet from Deimos. Brady tells him it was taken by another but refuses to say whom. The Greek suddenly realizes who he is protecting. NICOLE. He knows she killed Deimos! Brady believes it was self-defense and tells him the whole story of how he bribed judge number two and was about to take Holly. Victor is disgusted by Deimos' behavior. Brady continues. Nicole struggled with him for the knife. She was fighting for her life and for Holly ... Victor quips he is not her lawyer. Brady tries to swear him to secrecy ... As Eric holds Nicole's hands she assures him Brady knows that they are friends and only Brady has her heart. Eric sadly releases her hands and lies he is happy to hear it. She admits Brady ransacked his room in search of evidence. Eric quips what was he expecting to find! Nicole remembers the amulet ... She notes Eric said nothing was missing. He agrees and also agrees not to contact the cops. But he notices her trembling and asks for the truth ... Hattie can see Angelica is stressed and tells Chicken Little the sky is not falling. Angelica fears it will not end well but Hattie has a different take ... Marlena gasps they grabbed John. They had been told by fake Marlena - aka Hattie - that he was also delusional ... In bed Lucas suddenly stops and states this is not Adrienne. She gets him back to making love and he forgets his suspicion in his drunken stupor ... Solemn Jen has a missed call from Eric concerning Lucas. Abigail advises her to go, she will be alright ... Eric gives Nicole a pep talk about getting Holly back, no worries. She sighs she has to stop lying like this. He gasps he is not going to lie to her either ... Victor admittedly appreciates Nicole finishing what Xander never started but blasts her for what happened to Sonny. Brady points out Maggie's granddaughter would be raised by strangers if she ended up in the slammer. He also threatens to confess to killing Deimos. The Greek grandfather grudgingly agrees to keep the secret. But he advises Brady to hang onto that amulet, to make Nicole understand he is the only reason she is not going to prison. Brady quietly considers ... Cheerful Chad has apple sauce and cinnamon for Abigail, who giggles. He has a second surprise and they kiss. He gushes he has news she is going to love and she smiles in anticipation ... Brady puts away the amulet as Sonny walks into the Kiriakis living room. Sonny wonders what he was looking at. Just an old heirloom of Victor's that has been gathering dust. Sonny nods ... Jen arrives so Nicole excuses herself to a nonexistent appointment. Eric is unable to stop her ... Hattie follows Angelica to Bonnie's room. The boss lady knocks and orders her to open up. Bonnie opens the door a bit and gasps it is not a good time. There is shirtless Lucas sprawled on the bed, fast asleep. Hattie is impressed. Angelica demands to know what happened Bonnie slyly smiles. She looks guilty as soap sin ... Marlena cries out for John. Then she hears his unmistakable voice from the vent. He is in the room next to her and breathes he is right here. As luck would have it he too is imprisoned in a straightjacket. Tis the time for soap heroics ... STAY TUNED! |
