He gushes good morning to his almost Mrs. DiMera. She smiles this is not a dream, they are together for real. He teases forever and they sweetly kiss ... Paul and Sonny enjoy breakfast in bed and talk old times. The mood is light as Sonny remembers the tabloids getting Paul's love life wrong by writing he was having a passionate romance with a beautiful brown eyed actress. Paul points out the beautiful brown eyes were right even back then and they kiss ... In her room, Justin reminds Adrienne they are in love. She runs to the bathroom. Justin is baffled ... At the Kiriakis mansion Brady stares at the booze. Nicole walks in and wonders what he is doing ... At the pub Eric thinks of his love letter to Nicole ... Brady admits he was distracted. Neither slept well last night. Nicole glumly states she still feels guilty about killing Deimos. He tells her to focus on their future with Tate and Holly and praises her for keeping Holly from the madman. She calls him her rock and they kiss. She is sorry he assumed she and Eric were having an affair and promises no more secrets ... At DiMera mansion Andre listens to phone Kate schmoozing with Shin. He politely confronts her for kissing Roman ... Sonny wants the whole world to know they are engaged and heads to the shower. He invites Paul to join him ... Chad and Abigail are looking forward to her returning home to her guy and Thomas. Chad will be there for her and she grins thank God he was cleared of killing Deimos. They exchange I love yous and a kiss. Then he heads home to Thomas and brother Andre ... Kate accuses Andre of spying and claims Roman was the one who kissed her. It meant nothing. He suggests she is sliding into an affair and alludes to the board disapproving of her cheating on the DiMera half of their union. He will be watching her! She damns him as Chad enters with his big news ... Jen brings Abigail her favorite lemon bars from Maggie. Abigail marvels she and Chad are engaged and holds up her hand to show the ring. Jenny bites her lip ... Fake Adrienne comes back from blowing her nose but Justin wants answers. She reminds him she just broke Lucas' heart, hence her hesitation to get physical ... Drunk Lucas insults Eric at the pub for cheating with Nicole again and wants a bloody mary. Eric wants them to take a walk and Lucas leers go to hell, blasting him for his betrayal. Eric denies betraying brother Brady. Lucas doubts he does not have the hots for Nicole ... Nicole is worried the cops will find the trail that leads to her. Brady explains Chad already wiped the murder weapon clear of prints. She points out the amulet will link her to dead Deimos. Brady puts it back in a drawer and swears no one will see it again. She will be safe from this day on. But Nicole is nervous. Deimos cursed her ... Justin gathers Adrienne feels badly about hurting Lucas. However, he also thinks she might be having doubts. He suggests she wait a while longer to decide what her heart desires. When he mentions a few weeks waiting period she grabs him in a passionate kiss ... Lucas slurs he and Eric are both in love with women who want another. He asks him to join him at the bar but Eric cannot let him drink, which would upset sister Jen. He also cannot let him drive. Lucas quips he is not like him, he will take a cab, and staggers out ... Jen tells her happy daughter that is wonderful news buuuut ... Andre is elated that Abigail and Chad are back togetha. Kate accuses him of throwing Gabi away. Andre dismisses her and departs to watch Roman Holiday again ... Chad wonders what is going on. Kate wants him to ignore him. She asks if Chad is sure ... Jen wonders whether Abigail is sure ... Brady advises Nicole to keep the faith and forget about Deimos. Paul comes in, happy about Sonny's release and adds all the cops have to do now is find the real killer. Nicole excuses herself and Paul wonders how Brady fares. He admits he was wrong about Nicole having an affair with Eric. Paul is pleased as punch she loves his brother. Brady nods ... Abigail assures Jen this will be her and Chad's new start. Jen is happy for her brave wise girl ... Chad feels badly about hurting Gabi. Kate doubts it. He notes Gabi did not want to stay with him anyway. Kate notes she was doing the noble thing. She warns him Abigail will only break his heart all over again. He begs to differ so she promises to deal with his new happiness. He asks about Andre. Martini Kate smugly states she is always a few steps ahead. Chad is always here for her. They share a hug and an I love you ... A knock on the door ends the Justin and Bonnie kiss. She welcomes Jackson, who smiles she has not called him that for a while. But when he hears his folks' reconciliation news he is over the moon. Sonny now wonders about Lucas ... Lucas bursts into DiMera mansion and confirms to mama Kate he is drunk. She gasps why. He laments Adrienne dumped him. Kate sighs she told him so and he eyes her with irritation ... Kate accuses Adrienne of playing games with her son's heart. She wishes he had walked away but he never does. He never did from Adrienne or Sami or Nicole either! Lucas accuses her of driving him to drink with her meanness and insults. She threatens to fire him from Countess W with tough love. He screams and storms off ... Adrienne is sorry about Lucas. Justin asks about Sonny's news. He gushes he and Paul are getting married ... Paul has just updated Brady, who gives him a bear hug and heartfelt congratulations. Alas he was unable to reach John. Paul teases perhaps he and Nicole will be next ... Back in his office Eric leaves Jen an urgent message about her brother Lucas. He then sits and stares at Nicole's photo on his iphone, looking like a man obsessed ... Nicole returns to Brady. Paul is gone and he shares his news. Nicole regrets Sonny rotting in jail for so long and blames herself for not remembering. She has to head to work. Brady looks jealous. She insists there is nothing between her and Eric. He knows, kisses her, and warns her to tell Eric nothing about what she remembered ... Eric reads what he has written to Nicole about his feelings, how despite her feelings for his brother he cannot stop himself from loving her ... Jen and Abigail discuss the Abe injustice and then her impending divorce from Dario. She cannot wait to go home to Chad and Thomas. Jen proposes a lemon bar toast to her long reigning love with Chad. Lucas slurs here here and staggers in taking a drink from his bottle. Jen is flabbergasted ... Adrienne congratulates Paul and his football star. Sonny reminds her it is baseball and heads off to visit Abigail. Justin says what a surprise. He is happy that Sonny found true love after Will. Bonnie believes she is ready to move into the Kiriakis mansion now. Justin's head is spinning from fake Adrienne. She states they should wait with the physical side. He tells her even after the operation she takes his breath away. But he will wait for her. "Adrienne" thanks him and tells him she will be ready to move into the Kiriakis mansion tonight. He will see her later and suggests she start packing ... Jen takes Lucas out of Abigail's room. She is truly sorry about Adrienne and assures him he is not alone. He laments he is! Jen asks him to let her help him. He gasps he cannot and takes off again ... Back at DiMera mansion Andre warns Kate there could be a war. He shall not be marginalized as Stefano DiMera's eldest son. She wonders what he wants. To be co-CEO, partners. She laughs the board will never approve as they think he is insane. He tells her he will procure proof of his sanity from a licensed professional. She scoffs he is already certifiable and takes her haughty leave. Andre complains to fatha's portait he has been patient with Kate but this time she went too far. Alas Stefano’s portrait has no answer but Andre knows what to do ... Chad ends a business call about taking a contract to Kate, whom he supports as always. He now runs into smiling Sonny with flowers. They each have a question and at the same time ask the other to be their best man. Chad grins Ahhhhhh. They both get it ... Jen tells Abigail about Adrienne suddenly dumping Lucas. Something is off with Adrienne ... Meanwhile Lucas the lost soul bursts into Adrienne's room and blurts out he cannot live without her ... Brady angrily tosses the amulet back in its drawer and decides to pour himself a good stiff drink. He throws it back like he needs it ... Nicole apologizes to Eric for her tardiness. He tells her he had not noticed. She wonders what he is writing that has him so serious. Eric the tormented soap stares ... STAY TUNED! |
