There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At the apartment, EJ vs. Will. EJ states the story was slanderous. Will warns him he has nothing to say! EJ has plenty to say. Will defiantly declares it was all true. EJ scoffs about his sneaky questions. He is NOT ethical in his journalism. WOT he did was treacherous! And wot about the family? Will thinks he and Sami will take care of the kids the way they always do. EJ dangerously warns him he could go to prison for wot Lucas took the heat for – his shooting! Will stops and stares. EJ taunts his mommy even stole evidence for him! Will snaps she had to be stopped this time. Besides, it was his mom who gave the editor Abi’s name, not him! EJ peers at him in surprise. This is indeed news to him! Will confirms his mother made Abigail the main event of the article with her raging reveal to his editor and it was all behind his back. She destroys anything or anyone in her path! She is a vicious liar. Will notes he could have told the whole story of EJ and Sami and she would have gone to prison for attempted murder. EJ replies not with HIS testimony! Will shares his disgust about their twisted history and concludes they deserve each other. At the mansion, Sami vs. Sonny. He cannot believe what she did to Will. She snaps what about what Will the writer did to them! Sonny brings up poor Abigail and what she did to her. Sami loses her cool. Enough of Abigail! Sonny fumes she did not forewarn Will about revealing Abigail’s name. Sami still sees red about Abigail. Sonny snaps she is letting EJ get off but Sami begs to differ. She stole EJ’s company and is making him burn! Sonny reminds her that EJ was the seducer of Abi. Sami scoffs and suggests the home-wrecking skank is no victim. Sonny drawls Will was right. Sami snaps she has the right to be mad! And she lost her job herself! Sonny snaps Will wrote the story to stop his mom. She rages he was still the one who wrote the article. Sonny sighs he knows. But someone was going to write it. Sami thinks only Will was able to get inside information. They trusted him and his knife cut deep. Marlena now appears and asks for a moment alone with her daughter. Sami’s blue eyes widen. Sonny agrees to go. Sami asks him to be there for Will. Exit solemn Sonny. Marlena smiles what is new? Sami laughs. Marlena now wonders why she did not come to her. Sami ignores her ringing phone and points out John is in a coma and Kristen is in Salem. Her mother’s plate runneth over. Marlena is informed the whole article was true! Sami assures her she has got this. She must take the frenzied phone calls, though. Marlena reminds her she is here to help and takes her leave as Sami takes the first call with the confidence of a corporate diva. For now. At the house of Kiriakis, Brady is put on hold. The billionaire heir is desperate to speak with a specialist to save coma John. He glances at his tablet and notices the article about the hearing of Kristen today! He gets the specialist on the phone, who is too busy, not at all optimistic. Brady is ready to beg and offers him anything - plane, big money. Click! At the hospital HR hellcat Annie Milbauer enjoys the article on her tablet and dares Dr. Dan to sneak a peek. Abigail Devereaux was EJ DiMera’s secret LOVA! Naught naughty! Theresa spies Dan and remembers her worry that he suspects her of having something to do with John’s coma! Madame Milbauer advises dismayed Dan not to shoot the messenger. She boasts to Theresa that Sami had approached her for clarification on hospital policy. Theresa is strangely quiet and Anne soon suspects it has to do with Daniel, who has since stepped away. Theresa gets herself a tea and refuses to get involved in the mischief she has in mind against fired Abigail. Brady appears and wonders what about her? He soon finishes reading the disaster article and decides he has some texts to send. He tells Theresa no one deserved this, except for EJ! He gets stressed about the phone spell check. Theresa suspects his stress is due to something else. He sighs the specialist seemed to think his father was a hopeless case. Theresa places a hand on his muscular arm and assures him he did his best. He tells her he will get those annulment papers taken care of and saunters off. Theresa breathes a sigh of relief that John is nowhere near waking up. At Horton house there are many phone messages and the clan is concerned. Abigail starts to say … Jen knows … They need a press release fast! Something with a positive spin. Abigail’s statement is that EJ and Sami are meant for each other! Jen whispers perfect. Ding dong! Abigail opens her door to Dan, who gasps he could not stay away. Jen freezes at her computer. Dan is worried and sorry. Abi is ashamed. He gives her a pep talk. Those who know the real Abi will not judge her and soon it will all be old news. There are countless people who care! She sighs thanks and they hug. Jen watches and weeps, much moved. The judge tells the irate D.A. if she wants to argue against bail for the accused, then now is the time. Roman leans back in his seat. Confident. Perhaps a tad too confident. The D.A. reminds the court the fugitive took a hostage. She is not permitted to elaborate on the unproven charge. The D.A. declares the DiMera remains a flight risk! Kristen now stands up as her attorney announces she has something to say. She smiles like a debutante about to take the dance floor by storm … Abigail announces her intention to go and speak with Will. She is parked far enough away to avoid the press. She thanks Dan for his support and leaves. Dan faces Jen. She asks how he is. It has been a while. He murmurs he is fine and appreciates her concern. The press rings the doorbell and Dan the man offers to take care of them. It will be easy compared to what he went through with Kristen! He grins. Jen smiles shyly. Moments later he returns and lets her know the press is gone! Jen is pleased about the press release response she sees online. Dan sits down by her and drawls she is great at her job. She now gasps he could have been killed by Kristen! They discuss the hearing. Jen regrets she ever let Kristen get close to her. Dan does not blame her … Jen’s opinion means a lot to people … Their eyes lock. He suddenly gasps he has to go and exits. She gasps thanks for coming. They both pause at the other side of the door, tragically tormented. Kristen makes an emotional plea to the judge. Why, little innocent her was en route to Salem when someone kidnapped her! It will all come out in court. She wants to be there to make sure and implores him to believe she is no flight risk! The D.A. doubts it and objects the DiMeras are rich enough for any bail ...His honor duly notes her objection and places bail at a million dollars plus a tracking device. Roman scoffs Stefano bought that judge! He later suggests as much to Kristen, who plays innocent. He reminds her she has no more support in Salem as even EJ said he is done with her. Kristen slyly suggests sometimes people just talk … Will wants EJ to get out for what is done is done. EJ is disgusted that he did not consider his siblings. He did not put his family first and he will one day pay a deadly price. Will nervously wonders. EJ elegantly exits … Marlena arrives at the apartment next and questions why Will would hurt loved ones with his tell-all article. Will reasons his mother had to be stopped by someone cos she never did it! Marlena understands he felt they were under siege but this makes no sense! Will confesses the cover article was an appealing idea, though no one has complimented him so far. She notes it is too premature for praise. He realizes she is otherwise occupied and hopes she gets good news on John soon. Marlena goes on her solitary way ... At DiMera mansion, Sami does damage control with a heavy on the phone and gets herself a much needed drink as she insists she and EJ are solid as a rock. She gushes she expects him home any moment now ... EJ spies Abigail at the square and pulls her aside before she can protest. Now by the town gate, she gets irate. She claims to be over the scandal, to have moved on. EJ explains it is best the article reads like he is the aggressor, she the victim. She argues she knew exactly what she was doing and does not need his pity or his help! She now clicks away in her high heels and haughty petulance. At the hospital, Theresa tells a co-worker Brady would have some peace with John at a long term care facility. Suspicious Dan has overheard and demands to know what she knows about Brady and how he feels! Theresa taunts he was talking to her and tells the medicine man to stay the hell away! Dan whistles she has changed since earlier in the day but why? She talks avoidance – of him! She now taunts him to avoid Jen and her hot mess scandal family too. The amateur detective doctor pours himself a cup of coffee and gets to thinking ... Madame Milbauer bears a box of Abi’s belongings from her office and taunts Jen at her front door about her fallen princess. Jen will be back at work soon and defiantly defends her decent daughter. Annie gets sarcastic about her sleeping with someone’s fiancé. Jen hisses at her for trying to hurt people and slams the door in her face with a sigh. Brady the jumpy jogger runs and perspires and longs to forget … Kristen is fitted with the ankle monitor around her ankle and advised not to remove it or she will be arrested! The free agent gets her phone back and gushes there is somewhere she longs to go ... Phone Will excitedly updates phone Sonny on the status of his story. The website statistics are off the charts and he has a strategy session with Zoe tomorrow. Supportive Sonny says WOW. Will continues. Once it goes national, there could be TV appearances in the works. Sonny pauses and starts to sweat. Will excitedly adds he will be able to help pay the bills. Before Sonny can say something, Will ends the call to open the door to his next visitor. Tis teary eyed Abigail ... Phone Sami assures her board phone call it will blow over. Will was duped, and EJ will be home soon. The call ends. She takes a drink and notices EJ standing there, arms folded. She gasps it is all falling apart and she needs his help! EJ continues standing and staring ... Roman gets off his phone at the pub and informs Marlena he bears news she needs to know, not about Sami, but Kristen. Marlena waits with bated breath. Brady has removed his shirt and sits on a park bench. Kristen approaches and feasts her eyes with a smile. Brady sits up with a start. Kristen keeps smiling ... Alone at last! THE END |
